Viri forms up in formation with a group of devils of like-minded persuasion. They quickly surround a group of demons that seem even more uncoordinated than usual. They almost seem drunk as they stagger forward on the battlefield. But as the devilish forces attack, their bodies split, releasing the oozes and swarms bound inside. Half of the unit goes down immediately.

We do not have a hulk. I was considering a more hulkish alternate character, but I had already submitted Viri.

Viri is a good front-liner. High AC, Good HP, lots of attacks. Though if their DR is pretty high, her unarmed attacks won't be as effective.

She's okay with disguises, though she will stand in the back for social encounters when disguised.

Since we have telepathic bond, she'll switch the communique ring for the knight-inheritor's ring.

Viri opens up the floorboards and pulls out a very familiar looking pouch. She will pull out the mementoes and set them aside so that others can see if they connect to any of their clues. While this pouch reads as non-magical, neither do the pouches they received.

As they enter, Viri will begin by looking for unusual magical auras. Her goggles give her arcane sight. She expects that he'll have a number of items, but she's looking for anything particularly strong, or in an unusual place.

Viri quickly begins to move a number of useful items from a small pouch to the newer small pouch. He hands move quickly with their mismatched glaces - one grey leather and one green silk. The items are a number of useful things. Spare clothes, rope, a hammock, grappling hook, a spyglass. Finally, she ties a cord from the new pouch to her belt.

She sets aside a pair of goggles and a bandolier of bullets. Putting these on, she says, "I am prepared, but if anybody needs anything additional, I could always be better prepared." She jingles the payment from the mission and she tucks it away.

Viri won't mind Melani borrowing a shoulder now and then. Viri isn't against physical touch, though it doesn't seem to be something she naturally thinks about.

She is a backup healer as well. This is a full-round action, so it's more likely out of combat. She can do up to 46 hp 5/day 39 11/day, and 23 after that. Unlike normal uses of the heal skill, she can do it multiple times per day per person, but you need to be wounded again between uses. This is more to extend our resources than anything else.

Viri does not need mage armor, even though she could benefit from it. But her monkitude has her starting at AC 40 and I don't want to push our GM's patience.

She is dry. She has at prestidigitation on her ring for that. Plus running at 220 ft/rd or 24 mph.

There is no hesitation as she slips of the newer and fancier of her rings to put on the new ring assigned. but not quickly enough to catch the communication. Her other ring is old worn brass, and the perceptive will notice that it seems to be removed rarely, if ever.

She nods with agreement at Tia's request. She would do the mission regardless, but additional knowledge might reveal methods that won't work.

Halfway across the city, Viri was travelling to the meeting. It seemed that no matter how much she explored, the realm always had surprises waiting to be discovered. This time is was a library of the deeps, submerged in elementally pure water. Knowledge had been collected from a number of aquatic races. On top of that, the central chamber had a fountain of air on the ceiling, a jet whooshing down to cascade back up in bubbles that reflected the lights placed there.

She wished she could have stayed longer, but she had a briefing to get to. She swam to the surface and took to the roads, running toward the center. The roads were populated by creatures and vehicles of all descriptions. It was customary to separate into lanes by speed.

Up ahead, she saw the problem before it happened. A pair of bicyclists paying too much attention to each other, and not enough to those around them. One of them swerved into a riding bird and fell off onto the road.

Viri instinctively swerved, leaping over a smooth metal vehicle on dozens of legs. She swooped up the rider and pulled her off to the side. She was bleeding and Viri talked softly, "Be calm, I have you safe. Let's look at that wound." She pulled bandages from her satchel to bind her injuries. But as she did so, she felt the waters of life flowing through her. The rider would be fine, though her bicycle did not survive the trip.
"I must go, I have an important appointment to keep." and with that, she leapt back into a space in the traffic and began running for the center as well.

Steeping into the room a few minutes late, she bowed. There is a slight pause as she acknowledged the Lady's avatar directly. "My apologies for my tardiness," she said softly as she slipped into the chair, prepared to continue the briefing.
