Fortune, to clarify what GM said, if your Healing power was bought separately with PP, you can use it without spending a Benny, but you can only use it once per set of wounds. No retries. Unless of course you spend a Benny.

I ran into the same problem with Six. The Martial Artist Edge specifically calls out fists and feet becoming natural weapons, thus it can only be used for unarmed attacked even though you are considered armed. Martial Warrior is an extrapolation of Martial Artist, so I would presume the same rule applies. That's why I added Power Attack so he could do more damage with his stick.

Six is done playing games with low level gangers, being bred to fight other supers. He powers up his fist and lets loose, but the V'Sori gear the ganger has seems to be helping him. Six had to get rid of it somehow.

The trait roll can ace, which is to help beat the opponent's parry, especially if it is high and you can get extra damage if you specifically attack his hand (called shot -4). However, if you only target the gauntlet, then you are correct, no Ace bonus damage. I once had a Jedi Star Knight in another game and that was his favorite tactic.

The last d6 was from a possible raise on the hit. I'll try to remember to do that separately next time. The d10+d4+2d6 is VeeSix's power punch attack, though I seem to have forgotten to add in the d4 for that.

Six was built to take damage from superpowers and heavy weapons, thus his high Toughness and Regeneration, which incidentally, is already at once per hour. I’d be more than happy to lower the Toughness to increase his Regeneration to much faster if needed to balance the combats. My ultimate goal is for him to be someone that keeps coming back, no matter what they dish at him. He may not be able to do too much damage, but he can take it. Remember the V’Sori wanted something that the supervillains couldn’t kill.

Hearing Hellion’s call to arms, Vee Six nearly knocks Fortune over rushing into battle. Quickly surveying the battlefield, he sees Hellion already fighting the leader. He would liked that opportunity, but he knows well enough to not get into the middle of a duel.
