Six could sense there was trouble brewing, but so far, there was more posturing than anything. He was tired of it, though, and wanted to end this charade once and for all. He then realized he hadn’t been watching the area, like he was supposed to, especially with Fortune deep in her cards. He glanced around quickly, but he was sure he already missed something.

During the drive over, Six listens to all that Fortune tells them with a piqued interest. This teenage girl could alter reality in ways he never thought possible and all by looking at a peculiar deck of cards. When she finished, he says, ”I think something enough to stun or even prevent most of the thugs from attacking so we can focus on their leader would be nice. He will have the most information, so we should nab him first.”
When they arrive, Six readies himself to leap out of the van if necessary, watching Hellion talk to the leader. As he does so, he sizes him up, seeing what kind of threat he might be.

Six nods at Hellion. ”Just say the word and we’ll be on them.” He pats his armor and weapons. He then looks at Rashomon. ”We may have to bring at least one weapon to show we have the merchandise. They will want to see the stuff before even bothering to talk. If we got nothing, I don’t think they will hesitate to gun us down for simply moving in on their turf.”

”Then you faired very well.”, Six says as Fortune comes in. ”The area you were in must not have been too heavily guarded and that means the gang feels untouchable. Now we have their attention. Let’s get ready for that meet up. We might want to vet the area first and make sure we won’t be rudely interrupted.”

I don't see a problem with it, other than keeping track of what happens in game terms should we roll that high again.
For me, when I describe damage, unless it does an actual wound, the hit never really struck the target, but it may have hit armor, hit something nearby causing shrapnel to hit them, knocked something into their face, anything to mess up their combat ability but not actually wound them (i.e. Shaken). Where it hits is irrelevant, it just causes enough for them to question their willingness to keep fighting.
I would say that even with Fortune's description of between the legs, she, as a player, didn't call out that she was doing a called shot. In my games, I rule that unless the player calls it out, in game terms it is still a 'torso' shot, no matter the in-story description.
Your way works as well, as it gives you a good way to call out where the target is hit without having to use random hit location tables. I have no problem with doing it that way and I have no compunctions about gory descriptors, I use them myself.

Six pipes up as Fortune explains her plan. ”Always assume they will double-cross us. Either way, we can use the opportunity to take a few of them down and send a message that they will understand.”

Six watches Hellion have her moment and then storm out. At first he wants to follow her, but decides she’d rather be alone. She knows if there’s trouble, the team is on the other end of the earbud and Rash can get them there in a moment. Six understood her frustration though. This disembodied voice who claimed to be one of the saviors of the world against the V’Sori and yet there were numerous sites that contained many more of them just hiding out, waiting to cause trouble and he seems to think that he can just continue to tell people what to do. Six squeezes a bit too hard on a piece of equipment, breaking it. ”Take it out of my paycheck.”, he mutters. Six then gets back to focusing on helping Rash with the gear.

Adding a few more bits and bobbles from the crates to his collection, Six returns to the conversation back at base, speaking as if he were talking to them the whole time. ”..and I also think that taking down the leadership will just create a void for others to try and fill up. It would be a temporary setback. On the other hand, it would give us time to make some inroads with the locals.”

After setting down the last of the crates, Six says. ”Somebody knew these were coming. Which means that once they don’t arrive, the people expecting them, Hellion’s old crew, will be looking for answers. If we want to find out where the weapons are coming from, we need to figure out their source of information.”

Six helps get the crates through the portal as quick as he can. When they finish, he says, ”I think once the gang realizes their stuff is not where it is supposed to be, there will be an uptick in activity. We follow that. They will lead us to where it came from.”

”This is definitely V’Sori hardware. We need to get it gone fast, either through one of Rash’s portals or dump it over the side. I don’t want to imagine what will happen if some low level gang gets a hold of this stuff.”
Six wants to just pick the whole container up and throw it overboard, but he also knows that there may be more of them and he is certain he would be spotted. Not that he minded a good fight now and then. He ponders this as he waits for Rash to figure out if he can do it or not.

He hopes that he doesn’t attract any undue attention when he gets the call from Fortune that they found the right one. Hearing Hellion, he smiles into the mic. ”If you plan on getting this party started early, we can certainly rip one open together, but I don’t think that’s our goal today.”

As a GM, I would allow this, though it seems quite debilitating for someone whose main power is being able to teleport. We can take steps to clear out the innocent before the assault if necessary, but that will give them a message sooner than we might want.” He pauses. ”We bust some heads and get some answers and when they come down on the locals, we will have the law on our side. To add to Fortune’s idea, I would say we could start with the area immediately around our base and go from there. Word will spread quickly among the local gangs that a new player is in town that’s cleaning up and they will want to do something about it. Six raises an eyebrow in reference to the joke. He wasn’t aware that he was making one. A strange person, this demonic being, but she seemed to genuinely interested in his collection. ”They are for study. I collect pieces of equipment from those I have defeated to study them so that I can fight better next time. It is something I have always done. I believe the V’Sori added the need to my thoughts. I do not wish to sell them. Not until the V’Sori are truly gone from this world.” He lets that sit for a moment and then says, ”I presume we will be fighting more of them soon. You are welcome to study them yourself.”

As Hellion walks in to Six’s room, she notices that the floor, walls, and practically everything is bare, save for the pile of V’Sori artifacts he has collected in a neat pile on the floor. The bed is in one of his hands off the floor and he is attempting to place it against the wall, at a slight angle. He looks at her quizzically when she asks him her question. ”Bench? I believe this is called a bed, though I am not as up to date on the current vernacular as I would like to be.” He sets it down and leans back, testing the bed/ wall setup. ”Though I think some extra equipment to help lift things would probably be.. helpful.”

Six bristles at the sudden reactions to his appearance, but he doesn’t react in the same way. Instead he raises his hands in peace. ”By no means that I am aware of can I be tracked, but they do tend to find me when I am more active. And no, there is no kill switch or command or they would have used it by now.” You note that as he speaks, there are no scars, no identifying marks of any kind on him. ”I have heard of these ‘tats’, but have never tried one. My body would more than likely reject it, like anything else that has been done to it.” To illustrate, he takes out a knife and begins cutting along his forearm like it was a slab of steak. As you watch, the wound starts to stitch itself closed and within moments, it’s like it never happened. ”My exact purpose was unknown to me at the time. All I could gather was that the V’Sori were attempting to battle the rebellion with metas of their own. I am hoping that together, we can stop them from doing any more and perhaps find a better way for me to, how did you say, Fortune? Define my own look.” He then nods at Rashomon. ”I am more than willing to have this altered in some way, if I could find someone with the skills to do it.”

This is the right address, Six thought as he looked at the warehouse before him. The sound of a motorcycle engine startled him for a moment, but calm voices he heard in the distance told him he was at least safe. As he found his way inside, he could hear the voices conversing about themselves. It was apparent that none of them knew each other. At least they had that in common. When he felt it was an appropriate time, he stepped into the light where he could be seen.
VeeSix stands over six feet tall and looks as if he was chiseled from a stone mold. His features are almost too perfectly symmetrical to be human, but what draws your attention the most is that he is wearing V’Sori armor and has a V’Sori Pain Staff attached to his back. Nice. It is a good system and I am glad that I found Savage Worlds a few years ago. It is fast replacing DnD as my go to. I felt the same way about Rifts as I did Pathfinder, great world, but the system wasn’t the best. Now that Savage Worlds has both, well, that should tell you something.

No worries GM, if I need to fix it, I have some ideas where it those points could go.
As far as competing against the Supers, most tropes always have one type of villain that matches well against each different hero. Hulk v. Abomination, Batman v. Arkham Knight, Superman v. Doomsday. Most good villains know the heroes well enough to know their weaknesses. They will use the mooks against the heroes with little to no extra toughness to overwhelm them with numbers and bring the big guns out to take out the tough hero.
In our case, if VeeSix has the most Toughness, his job is to take on the big guys while the rest keep the bad guy crew off his back. Sometimes there may not be a big villain and that’s an easy Quick Encounter fight that we know will not go well for the bad guys anyway. Sometimes, there will be more than one big guy and we would have to tough it out or count our blessings and run away.
Some thoughts to ponder, one GM to another. As a side note, I assume by your comment that you are running Savage Pathfinder. How is that going?
