I looked over that guide, but it seems more geared to ensuring that you take two weapon fighting and use it to full efectiveness with the shield bash. I don't want him to fight like that, I'm focusing more on his defense and ability to draw foes in. I may remove Bull rush and replace with Step Up and Disruptive though...
So I am soon going to be attending my first actual PFS game and I have been planning out my Human Fighter for some time now. Str- 18
1 - Power Attack, Weapon Focus, Shield Focus 2 – Dodge 3 – Mobility 4 – Spring Attack/ +1 Con 5 – Weapon Training: Heavy Blades 6 – Wind Stance, Weapon Specialization 7 – N/A 8 – Improved Bull Rush /+1 Con 9 – Greater Bull Rush / Weapon Training: Crossbows 10 – Greater Shield Focus These are his feat choices I have planned out for his growth and his current stats. I'm a little iffy about the build and I would like advice. His equipment is at the momnet
I have been playing with the thought of going the light steel shield two weapon fighting route, but I ultimately decided against it. Thoughts?

Vamp teleports to C6’s side and rips his throat free from his body as the man gurgles and smacks into the ground. In a flash Vamp is once again across the room. C3 lets out a howl of rage and fires his pistol over and over again at Vamp. The bullets pass through Vamps flesh but are instantaneously sealed by his regenerative powers. The man begins to cry in frustration and fear. C3 is at - 2 to wound penalties and is staggered

I think a Int + Investigation will go best for this. The man Jack left behind shows everyone out of the casino, although he does not speak at all while doing so. If titus is still in the room, the Man returns and stands, watching him while he patiently waits. It is pretty obvious he is not going until Titus leaves.

Gardsin: Although you hear Geralds command, you continue checking the hosues for a few moments before returning. You find no one in hiding, but the devastation and carnage churns your stomach. Many of the homes are covered in dried blood and gore, adn accompanied by vile grisly scenes.

The people in the hole are terrified for a few more moment before responding to Lem. They slowly begin crawling from the packed conditions, looking around every which way as they do so. Gerald looks pale for a moment and then shakes his head as if clearing away the shock. "Gardsin, unload some of the food from the wagon, these people will need it. No telling how long they have been down there. Lem, help get these people comfortable, we are going to figure out how to transport them back to Fort Steel Heart. The rest of you... just... Oh Tal this is bad." Confused you notice what Gerald noticed. A child’s limp body has been dragged from the hole. The mother of the child looks as if though she has not slept for weeks, and she clutches her obviously dead child to her body with a surprisingly iron tight grip.

Marcus smashes into C1 lands a powerful blow on the unfortunate man who staggers back just within range of Siege Breaker as she unleashes her attack. Rosa had moved out of the way searching for the computer station they needed and found it with little difficulty(No need for perception roll). Siege Breakers attack smashes through the defense of C1 as he desperately turns to try and parry the blow. And the sword carries him along the arc of the swing .
C5 Looks frustrated and yells for men to cover him as he begins running the opposite way from the door.

Jack watches your exchange with interest but finally stands and move to the door. ”I will now leave you to your work. My… assistant will show you out of the casino when you are ready. Please enjoy the food and be sure to prepare yourselves accordingly. “ Jack exits the room and a rather large man enters in his place. The man is a giant among men and must be at least 6 foot 8 if not taller. He is muscular and broad in addition to his tallness, making him rather imposing. It is clear the man is not a vampire, but he looks on you all without fear or awe and remains silent as you conduct your business.

The trapdoor creaks open on rusty hinges, and you hear a collective gasp from people gathered under. Dust rises from the hole and it takes a moment for you to clearly make out the scene before you. The trapdoor had covered a large hole dug out in the ground, and was most certainly not intended for its current use. There must be at least 20 people gathered into this hole in such a way that everyone is packed tighter than a travelers backpack. The people look absolutely terrified, and most are covered in blood, whether their own or someone elses, youre not sure. The people gaze up at you with fear and the women cradle their children close to their bodies.

Jack shakes his head, ”No need to drug them… they are quite content with the potent mix of disciplines used on them. They will be easy to feed from, but blood I blood, even without your…’hunt’. However if you feel my owing you a favor isn’t good enough, tell me what you think would be. Although I don’t think you realize quite how useful a simple favor can be from me. Jack then turns his attention to Titus, ”The prince is the only one who knows who was on that team. My only hope is they left it alone after the investigation”

Jack shakes his head at Titus. ”It’s highly unlikely that either covenant knows anything about this statue, and even if they did… well that is just whole new set of issues to deal with. This item is the only thing of importance right now. Normally I wouldn’t even ask you to do it and have handled it myself, but certain…. Issues of late have made it hard for me to do so without suspicion. That’s all you should need to know about my involvement with it.”

Jack sighs, and nods slightly, ”The item is of great importance to me. It has certain… occult legends attached to it, but most have no bearing in truth. “ He looks around at each of you before speaking again. ”the circle might have been interested in this piece, however it’s highly unlikely they even knew of its existence… which leads me to question the deaths in previous nights…”

”Scheme? Me?” Jack appears to be briefly offended by that idea, ”No, not me. I have a job for you that requires a… delicate touch. I need you to go and investigate the area where the coterie was killed. And I need for you to also retrieve an item for me if it hasn’t already been taken.” Jack reaches under the table and pulls out an old cracked and dusty book. He opens the book and dust flies through the air. He carefully turns each page until he comes to one with a picture of a small back statue. The statue seems to be made into the shape of a panther with to emerald eyes embedded on the head. Jack taps his finger against the picture, ”Officially, you are looking into the deaths of the coterie, but I really want you to uncover this. They owed it to me and had to go and get themselves skilled before delivering. This is why I brought you here tonight. Bring this to me, and we can say… I owe you one.” Jack carefully shuts the book and puts it away. He gestures to the dazed looking humans in the corner, ”You can have your fill on these people before you go. Are there any questions?”

It looks as if though there has been a battle recently in this town. It appears there was some attempt to place wooden alls up to fortify the town, but the walls were destroyed, literally smashed into tiny pieces. The town is completely vacant. A dark feeling washes over you all, and even Gerald doesn’t find any words to say. You suddenly the stench of death in the air, and you quickly find the source of the smell. There are several of the villagers corpses strewn about the village seemingly at random. Extra for Lem – Lem’s hound stops and suddenly give a bark as it takes off into one of the destroyed houses. It stops at the back of the house and begins pawing at the floor and whining. Krular moving inside to be beside Lem stares at the ground for a moment and then says out loud, ”there is a latch on the floor, it’s hard to see but it’s there. It looks like a secret door…” Malwyn: Nothing from your vast knowledge seems to be able to explain what could have done this.

The morning comes quickly, ad just as quickly you are bidding goodbye to the people of Fort Steel Heart. Gerald informs you that you are heading to village that has not made any contact with the fort in some time and even supplied your wagons with extra crates of food for the villagers. The extra crates have forced your entire party to land, and the jungles hot and humid weather quickly make things uncomfortable for you. For 3 days you travel like this, before you reach the village of Half-Moon around midday. The Village is eerily quiet and no person comes out to greet your wagon. Getting closer you note that at least 2 homes are severely damaged as if though some huge force ripped through sections of them.

Jack smiles and nods to Cecilia before turning his attention to the questions aimed at him. Yes… I normally don’t attend Elysium. On a night to night basis, the politics in Chicago have very little to do with me, but tonight was special. I had somewhat of a … personal stake in the affairs tonight. Moving on though, I have a question for you all. Are you aware of the unique relationship I share with one of your fellow coterie mates? Or have they not let on to our lovely touching bond yet?

Elysium disperses and your coterie moves to the Grand Victoria Casino a short drive away. It seems rather busy this night as you approach the building that stays beside the ship board casino. Heading into the building you are immediately greeted by a warm faced, smiling Jack. He ushers you into a private business room and locks the door behind you all. The room is rather large, containing a long wooden table in the center of the room surrounded by at least 20 chairs. Several TV screens hang on the far end of the room and there are several dazed looking humans sitting in the chairs closest to the TV’s. Jack takes a seat near the door and smiles, “Now that was on hell of a night wouldn’t you agree?”

lol sorry, I suddenly had an emergency mid posting, I will continue now Marcus - On your turn C6 will be closest to you. Vamp teleports and rips out another chunk from the leader, who simply can’t take the abuse to his body any longer. He collapses to his knees, and falls flat on his face. C3 rises to his feet, and continues fleeing towards the door. C6 follows suit, but he moves slower and after being knocked back so far, isn’t going to make it far. C2 is at - 2 to further wound penalties and is dazed. He is also Demoralized(-2)
