Lucky Pips wrote: That ability your item boosts, it hasn't been called that since 3.5. I found this statement amusing. If tracking by D&D versions, it is a couple versions back, but if counting by Pathfinder, it is only .25 versions back. Thanks for the chuckle...
(nonetheless, the item SHOULD conform to the current nomenclature, not grognard-speak)

Since we've never battled a Gazebo, I think we should give fighting Origami monsters a try!

at least someone knew what I meant by surrogate devices, I always get strange looks in public when I say that.

What are the yellow highlighted items? (I tried to locate this on the spreadsheet and in the various tabs before posting)

AH..... I just seen an entry that emulates the hand-held surrogate devices so much of society seems enamored with these days...

I've only seen one item that really WoW'd me, and I'm sure it is based a lot on personal taste. Even if I don't like a lot of stuff and see it often, overall I get to see hundreds of ideas. Some that may need some ironing, should not be there, really cool ones, and a lot of meh.

Nice! Good to have the line-up, just in case. Now I can at least have semi-formulated ideas, if not more complete material, for a specific round. 8')

I'd like to try to get as far as I did in 2014. I barely voted at all in the last one...

Sweet. I've only looked at a little over 300 items and haven't quite tracked them all, but will compare and add to the list if I find something...

Nobody seems to be able to handle my Pandora quick mix.
Example "Brian Seltzer, then Deicide, then Paco Pena, then Lords of Acid, then Manowar, then Ad Dimeola, then Iron Maiden, then Gypsie Kings, then Madness, etc...."

Covent wrote: TimsterMon wrote: So is the "Star Voter 1" for Season 9? Easily confused, I guess... I am betting they used an incrementing formula for the titles thinking to reuse it next year, but since the prior years of the contest were dates not numbers it started at 1. Someone will just have to go set the base number at 9 instead of 1. Cool. I was thinking that was for this season...

I'm going on a mad voting streak again this time (didn't vote much in 2015 season).
Funny how that goes sometimes...

I'm sorry if I was not clear. When I am in the review tab there is no option to add a post. Else I would have put the review there. (not sure what the problem was, brought it up in-case there is a site problem.

FYI, you can post actual reviews by scrolling up toward the top of the thread and clicking on the Product Reviews Tab (just to the left of the Product Discussion Tab, which is what is 'active' currently :)

I was trying to submit a review but will have to do it here since I cannot locate any review button or anything on the product page.
I had pretty much all the information in this booklet spread out over multiple .pdfs and Kobold quarterly hard-copies. It was so cool to get all the information in one place. And since the awesome tablets that I would use are not being made, yet (or at least not at a reasonable price, and a couple inches bigger and some millimeters thinner), I still prefer a "dead-tree" version over an electronic one.
Really cool options in this compendius tome. I am especially intrigued with the Savant class which is essentially a different take on the Factotum in 3.5ed. I had lots of fun with my Factotum/Uncanny Trickster in Faerun for the hardback-trilogy (Cormryr, Shadowsdale, Anarouch) and wonder what jack-of-all-mischief I could do with a Savant.
Also, one of my favorite archetype names is in this book. There are an array of Gunslinger "mods" to convert a standard class to include using guns. The one for the cleric, Hellfire Preacher is wicked (not alignmently). I especially like that Diplomacy is substituted with Intimidate.
Enough yacking and spoiling, go get yourself a copy! 8')

Good for you Nickolas. I'm pretty sure mine did not make the cull (after PMing a few people). Ah, well. Even if no one else liked mine, I still love it! But thanks to those who've provided some feedback to me. I can understand how some things could have made the presentation a little better and TRULY appreciate the feedback (both the things said and unsaid). 8')

Alf is Old Norse for elf, whereas the Gand part is derivative from "gandr" meaning wand or staff. An elf with a staff!

Kind of hard to get excited about seeing new items when I'm suffering from the "I haven't seen my item since the cull blues" .... sigh

@JamesR - I've seen other posts where people talk about things via PM, but not really sure...

Must have missed a few tally marks, at marathon about 5 hash marks sooner than I thought. I'm pooped out at looking at things and do not think I can endure to see if my item has made post-cull. If anyone has a list of post-cull items that could be shared (via PM, I would presume), that would be greatly appreciated to see if I made it past the cull...
Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber
@ Jeff: its funny you mention. I see that one pop up quite a bit post-cull and wonder why I haven't seen mine post-cull. Hopefully its just because I haven't seen it... 8')

wow... approaching 900 votes and see something I KNOW I haven't seen before... and its actually kinda kewl

Arrgg.... I was "lucky" to see my item three times by 600 votes. At close to 780ish votes was where I was pre-cull. Now at only 825ish votes, I wonder how long it will take to know if I made it... lol I must be a closet self-torturer to put myself through this... lol

So stuff from last year is still estimates? It was not released how many submissions were made and how many submissions were voted on (since a portion of those could be auto-rejected)?
Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber
Yes I agree it was a bug. That was why I posted about it in another forum. Before everyone gets concerned, remember, we are using computers to do this stuff! lol I have not noticed anything like the bug the other day, and I'm fairly certain I've not had any other two exact items paired since. But with as many votes I've cast and not being quite as ... "particular" ... with my record keeping, its possible another pair came together again, but I honestly do not think so.
Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber
I'm the lucky guy, I've seen mine thrice and have voted about 650 times (one around 400, one around 500, and the other around 600)
Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber
The other day I got same pair 6 times in a row (only switched sides on one of the pairs none of the others) at the same time as several other people seemingly to get the same pair anywhere from 3-7 times, and not just them seeing their two items paired, but several people seeing the same two exact items paired (or at least as similar as we could describe without Dairy Queening ourselves). It was really weird and prolly happens fairly rarely...
