Overall I found the scenario to be of poor design. While I can appreciate the flavor of it, I did find it to be mechanically absurd. My highly experienced group did well enough, but I would say I consider even the low tier version of the scenario to be severely over turned. Individuals of particular skill and experience will be all right; newer players or those that consider themselves "casual" are likely to have a very different experience. Party composition can also very quickly damn you, as the scenario has a rather specific set of requirements if you want to go through it without heavy losses; these requirements are very easy to wind up not having available in your group.
Beyond the mechanical aspect, I found the introduction to be very lackluster and the ending most unsatisfying. The entire thing begs the question: "Why are we even here?"
