Thanks for running this! Been a bunch of fun.

Tamrat raises his eyebrows at the destruction of the starship. "Well, this is certainly more than I had expected to find when I took this job. Maybe I'll stick around for a bit, see if there's anything else to do here."

Blustering through while lying through his teeth seems to have worked out pretty well so far.

Tamrat opens up a comms channel to the Azlanti ship, "Crew of...whatever ship you are. The Ranseur is crippled and in retreat. I suggest you run now before you're left behind"

Bluff: 1d20 + 18 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 18 + (6) + 1 = 44

Whoops, didn't realize it was resting on me. I'll get a post up.

"If we think we can lie our way out, I'm your man."

Tamrat steps back before taking a shot at the guard in front of him, "Focus on this one!"

Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
Damage: 3d8 + 6 ⇒ (2, 3, 8) + 6 = 19

He fires again, issuing a similar command.

Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
Damage: 3d8 + 6 ⇒ (1, 2, 7) + 6 = 16

Shooting and using Improved Get 'Em twice. Probably going to miss twice as well.

Tamrat takes a shot with his newly acquired plasma pistol at the greased guard as he says, ”Focus on him!”

Attack v EAC: 1d20 + 10 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 10 + 3 = 26
Damage: 3d8 + 6 ⇒ (2, 5, 1) + 6 = 14

Using improved Get ‘Em, so everyone gets a +2 to hit the guard.

"Seems a good idea. Mask it as a gesture of good will while lying through our teeth."

"I'll take the pistol. Seems nobody else is too interested."

Remember, you’ve got an extra move action too.

Tamrat says, "Keep focusing on that one! Joyride, snap to it!"

Improved Get' Em on the same guard, and Hurrying Joyride.

Tamrat motions to the guard that Sharlavaka had attacked and says, "Keep up on that one! Sharlavaka, chop chop!"

Using Get 'Em on the guard that Shar had attacked and Hurry on Shar.

I've been holding up reasonably well. I had a bit of a scare yesterday, when I woke up with a 101 degree fever (about 35 degrees for the celcius folks here) and though I might've had COVID. Turns out it was just strep throat, and I'm feeling a lot better with some antibiotics in me.

"Cause a bit of chaos, give us cover to the brig."

”Say, Eshenvral, there was that little platformer game you had been working on, let me know if you need any help with it.”

Bluff to pass secret message: 1d20 + 18 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 18 + (6) + 1 = 37

Offering an aid another on the computers check.

Tamrat nods before sighing lightly and saying, ”Well, I cannot say I wanted to bring this bargaining chip to the table, but it seems prudent. My team and I need to train if we are to assist you in the conquest. Esh here needs to crunch vast amounts of data if his magic is to function properly. Joyride and Sharlavaka need live fire practice to keep their combat skills frosty. Hells, if I have access to an infosphere I can shift public opinion towards you. Full access to the ship, barring any exceptionally classified locations, in exchange for the location of the Zoltan artifact repository, not least of which is the Deck of Many Things. He shrugs nonchalantly, ”If not, I give the word to the agents in place there and they slag the place. So...what do you say?”

Bluff: 1d20 + 18 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 18 + (2) + 1 = 36

Sorry for my slower posting. I’ve been staying with an old friend of mine in Dublin and haven’t had much time. I’m leaving tomorrow, and should be able to get back to more frequent posting.

Tamrat does his best to lean back in the chair before finding it can’t recline and huffing. ”Do you have any ReCaf? Military vessels like this tend not to have coffee. In any case, there are many reasons not to throw us in the brig. Firstly, the rebel network on Zothune is extensive, and without our intelligence you’ll suffer guerilla attacks for longer than you could imagine.”

He pauses, adjusting his jacket. ”What’s more, I’m a bit of a media star in the Pact Worlds. Without my winning personality and positive reporting on the annexation, you run the risk of retaliatory action by Pact Worlds affiliates.”

Bluff: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (9) + 18 = 27
Bluff Reroll: 1d20 + 18 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 18 + (5) + 1 = 41

Using convincing liar and spending 1 RP to roll bluff twice and still get my expertise dice.

”Well, it came to light there were fundamental differences in how we wished to shape the colony. War sells, as I’m sure you are aware, and I wanted to prolong this conflict for as long as possible. The other leadership had nothing to gain, so we split from them.”

He pauses, adjusting his jacket as a sly smile creeps onto his face, ”You want this to be a rapid conquest, I am sure. The rebellion is quite widespread, and we possess information on nearly all of it. You may be able to chop off the stem, but I can tell you how to pull out the roots.”

Bluff: 1d20 + 18 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 18 + (3) + 1 = 38

”Smugglers? Spies? I’d find that insulting if the truth weren’t so much better. No, my friend, we were high-ranking members of the rebellion.”

Tamrat steps forward and grins, ”That would be me.”

Tamrat nods. ”Sounds like it falls right within my skill set. Well, shall we go and meet these Azlanti?”

A pincer sounds good.

”And the fly enters the spider’s web. Esh, bring us in. Don’t know how this’ll go, but we’re out of options.”

Tamrat opens a commlimk and says in a calm and even to e, ”This is Captain Tamrat ul-Khedim. We wish to defect. We hold many rebellion secrets. This is an offer you will want to accept.”

Bluff: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (8) + 18 = 26
Bluff 2: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (16) + 18 = 34

Using Convincing Liar to roll bluff twice without spending expertise.

Sorry, busy weekend, will have a post up later today or tomorrow.

"Hm, playing defection may be our best way of getting inside."

An Attack of the Swarm game I’m in has an opening. All of y’all here would be great fits, so shoot me a PM if you’re interested.

Finally got my stats into my alias.

Stats are finally updated, I’ll put them in my alias once I’ve got an internet connection, either late tonight or tomorrow.

I’ll be traveling today, so depending whether or not my train has wifi I’ll have it done today or tomorrow.

Ooo, sounds fun!

No objections on my end to another game after this one.

I’m partial to either system. Structured games are just fine by me. I am quite partial to the Soldiers of Fortune trope. If we’re doing PF1, we could be some sort of mercenary squadron like Esh suggested.

In terms of mission choice, I’ve got a similar concept in another one of my games, with the party having three missions arrayed before them, which they can do in any order. That’s worked out pretty well for me.

”Joyride, gun it!”

Inspiring Joyride.

”Sharlavaka, give them Hell!”

Inspiring Shar, auto-succeed the check.

Tamrat lounges in his captain’s chair, a mug of thin, bitter ReCaf in the cupholder. ”Hmph. It can never be easy.”

Tamrat's eyes widen at the spaceship, "My gods. That is...something else. Boarding and crippling it would certainly be the best idea. Though the Exsilium is no slouch, that thing could turn us into slag quicker than the foundries of Daevabad."

Tamrat takes another shot at the closest Azlanti, saying, ”Keep firing!”

Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14

Using Improved Get ‘Em. Probably not gonna hit though.

Will have my action up later today once I’m off work.

Apologies for not posting as well. Been pretty badly under the weather for the past few days, and I’m just getting back up to fighting shape now.

Tamrat says to Thalin over the radio, "Come on! Keep moving!"

Weird, seems like Paizo ate the post I made. Any case, using hurry on Thalin.

Tamrat forward to the next available cover before taking a shot at the closest Azlanti and saying, "Keep pushing, fend them off!"

Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
Damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Moving to cover behind the next building, then spending a resolve point to do improved get 'em, giving a +2 to hit against all Azlanti within 60 feet.

Tamrat leans out from cover and takes a shot at the Azlanti directly in front of Sharlavaka and radios to the party, "Focus your fire on that one!"

Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
Damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Using improved get 'em on the Azlanti I shot, so everyone will get a +2 against them.

Wiped from work. Will have actions up tomorrow.

Tamrat radios to Sharlavaka, "Look alive, get ready to start shooting!"

Using Hurry on Sharlavaka.

Tamrat pipes up as they're moving through the crowd, "Friends please, we must be getting through! If you could kindly allow us passage, it would be most appreciated!"

Diplo: 1d20 + 16 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 16 + (6) + 1 = 26

Good to hear you're doing alright! My brother recently went through almost the exact same procedure, and strong pain meds definitely were a saving grace in that.

Stats are updated.

I’ll have my stats updated tomorrow morning, been sorta swamped at work.
