Yeah, this room is making me not feel good at all.
I can whip us up some healing medicine if anyone is needing some.
Tamhar gets a bit of a smile, "Well that bomb seemed to make it not so happy. Lets see if we can do that again." Tamhar quickly throws together another quick vial bomb, and throws it.
She then pulls out a junk bomb to be ready for the next round.
Tamhar moves just past the doorway. Creates a quick vial bomb and throws it at the "thing."
Tahar hearing the cry for help. Rushes out the door of the room she is in, pulling out her bow as she goes.
Endoin notices Tamhar fiddling with the bust a bit and comes to investigate as well. "Huh. Maybe get it to face the demon armor. What do you think?" "It is worth a try." Tamhar helps Endoin try to get the bust to face the armor. As the group starts following Rem to find out what is making all the noise, Tamhar decides to follow.
Tamhar looks at the inscription on the cannon, and then glances around the room.
Pretty sure in the end we need to blast something with this cannon, but it feels like something else involving someones soul or a demon within needs to happen first.
Tamhar watches as the "hairs" disappear and then reappear. "Well that was not very effective, but kind of cool to watch"
"Hey, dearest. Do me a quick favor and incinerate this room for me." I can give this a try. Tamhar uses her Kobold breath sending a cone of poison into the room.
Tamhar puts here hand out for the hair. "Here let me give it a shot. This is very good quality hair to work with."
"Hopefully that will be good enough"
"Yes, I think it would be better if we stayed within shouting distance of each other. So if we could not hear someone yelling for help from the Study, then everyone should probably make their way together that direction." Tamhar looks around the dining room Yeah this is probably as good as anywhere to leave the mirror for now. Unless the fake Ghaf shows up I doubt anyone else is going to know the importance of this mirror"
"So just to point out the obvious, unless we can figure out a way to release Ghaf quickly in this room, we are most likely going to have to come up with a plan of how to avoid having those guards in the other room start getting suspious when we try to leave with more people then we came in with" Tamhar looks around and sighs "So who is the best at Gaslighting people?"
Tamhar steps over the cell with the guy in it. “Rem, I will work on this lock while you work on that one. If we both have no luck, maybe we will have to do them one at a time together.”
Let me give it a shot Tamhar steps up and takes a look at the lock, pulls out her tools and tries to open the lock.
That should do it. Tamhar says with a grin.
Tamhar pulls down the Alchemy books and flips through them. “Wow there is some interesting stuff in these.” If the guard does not seem opposed, she slips a few in her bag. After looking at the window, Tamhar is a bit confused. She concentrates on the movement of the man’s finger trying to decide if maybe he is sending a message. She nervously comments to Fey “Um…Do you see a man in the widow glass or am I the only one feeling like I am having a hallucination?”
Tamhar browses through several of the books, then turns to the guard. “I do love books on Alchemy and I am not seeing any here. Do you by chance know of any that the master of the house has not looked at in so long he may have forgotten he even has them?”
"Oh, I do so love books." Tamhar walks up and starts petting the spines of the books. She glances around to her companions, wondering what their next step should be.
"I'm thinking we go up to those guards and go ahead with the delivery crew explanation to try to get inside. Be all like, 'My boss insists that I place this properly so that it blends well with the other trophies!'" Fey puts on a quiet, pompous voice with her line, raising an eyebrow at the others for feedback. Tamhar takes a quick glance around while Fey is talking. Trying to put on a confident demeanor she replys, "Sounds like the best plan we have for now."
"Cute bird," Endoin says with a grin. "Maybe a bit high strung though." "Yeah, I am pretty sure I have seen those types of birds before. You can teach them to say things, but you have to be careful because they love to learn stuff you don't want them to such as swear words more then the things you were hoping they would learn. There was a man that had one in a pub and it had a very crude colorful vocabulary"
I have heard that so long as you do something acting as though you know exactly what you are doing and have a bunch of confidence in yourself that people are less suspicious of you. So I am with Fey, just pretend we have every right to be here and anyone trying to stop us is the one in the wrong.
That is not smelling right for a sleeping potion. I am not sure what you two have concocted there, but I do not think it is going to do what you want. Let me see if I can whip us up some dark clothing and we can try hiding in shadows.
Tamar will assist Fey using society to try and figure out more about the people in the area.
Tamhar gets up and rubs her eyes. It feels like mornings are getting here earlier and earlier Tamhar decides that she is going to see if she can pick up some info on what would be appropriate attire to blend in at this event.
Tamhar stands up Name is Tamhar, My husband Edoin brought up the idea of joining up, and I figured we had nothing better to do.
"Wow, thanks Endoin" Tamhar heads over to the enemy side, scrambled up out of the water. Then heads toward their platform, pulls out a junk bomb and launches it up toward the bag on the Red platform.
"There we go" Tamhar says as she drags the bag to the side of the pool.
Tamhar seeing Edoin fail to acquire his bag makes a jump for it.
"Nope, this one does not want to be snatched." She gets out of the water line up better to try again.
Tamhar attempts to drag the bag toward Fabian. She drops it next to him. “Hey Fabian, you want to toss that one up also? That way I don’t have to run all the way around. Also drink this” Tamhar hands Fabian the elixir of life. Then she heads down the platform to get in line to snag another bag.
“Ok this shooting everyone to keep them from getting bags does not seem to be doing the trick” Tamhar says. “So I guess I am going to have to join in the action.” Tamhar gets a bit of a running start and attempts to take a roll/dive up onto the platform in front of the bags. She gets in line with one of the bags and makes a leap.
Tamhar sees Fabian and Ramquar take some nasty hits. “Hey Fabian, if you want to quickly get that bag and come back over here, I have an elixir of life you can have.” Tamhar quickly glances between the halfling and the orc, making a quick decision that though the halfling seems to be the bigger threat, the orc has the greater chance of keeping his team up and conscious. She moves about 15 feet farther down the row in front of the platform, and lets off two arrows at the orc.
Tamhar moves up in front of her teams starting platform (2 actions) then lets off one more shot with her bow to try to keep the leshy from keeping the bag it has.
Tamar seeing the Leshy get a bag lets out a little growl and lets off two more shots at it.
Then she takes off down the ramp to join her teammates.
Tamhar looks around. “Well not quite what I expected, but I think we can work with it.” She draws her bow and sends two arrows fly toward the Leshy.
Thank you, Agraj, for getting us here safely and not throwing my husband overboard. Tahmar gives a little laugh as she throws a glance at Endoin. She gathers up her stuff and waits to depart the boat. It is nice to meet you Emim, thanks for helping us get where we belong. Tahmar is getting her reagents in order when Kullif enters the tent. She pauses to listen to what he has to say, and then goes back to getting organized as the other cadets start asking questions. She pays partial attention to see if anything that is said is actually useful information. When she hears Endion talking about a battle to the death, Tahmar pauses. No, honey that was the competition you did not get chosen for. I am pretty sure the goal at this garrison in to try to have everyone live through the actual training. Endoin bites his tongue and bides his time and follows the rest of the group into the lower deck of the ship where the hammocks are. Finally once everyone is in the room, he grins a bit and mentions, "So if the cat is off-limits, are the rats available as snacks for us too? Or only for the cat?" Tamhar glares at her husband in a way that only a spouse can. "How about you just keeping to if the rats don't bother you, you do not try to eat them." Tamhar, a greyish green Kolbold, looks from Endoin, to the Captain and then at Fey. “My husband is hungry a lot, and is not all that picky on what he eats” Tamhar announces to no one in particular.
