Female Human (Shoanti) Paladin (Divine Hunter) 1
![]() It's what my character would probably do in that situation, the roll wasn't great to begin with, and she doesn't have ranks in Intimidate, so you can just keep going down the initiative order. Starting to see the drawbacks inherent in an extremely specialized character... ![]()
Female Human (Shoanti) Paladin (Divine Hunter) 1
![]() Tama advances, an arrow nocked to the string of her massive recurved bow. She speaks to the bandits in her soft, low voice. "You are outnumbered. Lay down your weapons, and we can settle this peacefully." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 And my string of bad rolls continues... ![]()

![]() Tama lifts her head, coming out of her trance, her eyes glowing with a faint pale light. "Three auras, all alike, fleeing." She nocks an arrow and scans the trees, attempting to discern the flight path of the three fey. Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 ![]()

![]() Gaelin Northvein wrote: "We should be able to track them fairly easily in this snow." Despite his words, Gaelin regards the path ahead with some hesitation. "Although I admit I am not eager to delve into these woods..." Tama speaks up, having been quietly contemplating the grisly scene. "I doubt any of us are eager, but we are sworn to see this through to the end. At the very least, we should see justice brought to whoever did this to these men," she says, gesturing to the corpses on the snowy ground. ![]()

![]() From discussion thread: Patrick Curtin wrote: You know what? Why don't we just retcon them as arrowheads. Idk why the AP gives only sling bullets. I had to improvise the dagger, I figured someone could use it :/ Tama quietly takes the cold iron arrowheads, making a note to fasten them to some of her arrows later. ![]()

Which of you wishes to avenge Yuln by using his sword against the fey and then returning it to him when the task is complete?" "Gaelin should have the blade, not me. I am... not experienced in the use of swords. However, I would be able to make use of some arrowheads of the same material." ![]()

I was to return home, but I am sworn to seek out the evil in this world and destroy it. I am bound to follow this path to its end before I can return to my homeland." ![]()
Female Human (Shoanti) Paladin (Divine Hunter) 1
![]() A tall, bronze-skinned Shoanti woman sits alone at a corner table sipping a glass of Taldan fire-brandy, a massive recurved composite bow by her side. Her clothing is of coarse white linen and bleached leather, and as she lowers her hood to run a hand along her shaven head, a series of tattoos depicting the phases of the moon may be seen, glowing a faint blue in the tavern's dim light. Tama, Moon's Daughter of the Lyrune-Quah came to Taldor months ago, pursuing a Chelish devil-binder, and days after her pursuit came to an end, she began to hear rumors of a strange, otherworldly frost spreading from the heart of the Border Wood. As the patrons mill around her, she listens for any talk of the unnatural winter. Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 ![]()
Female Human (Shoanti) Paladin (Divine Hunter) 1
![]() Character stats are done, background to follow. Concept is that she's a wandering do-gooder favored by the ancestral spirits of her clan, the Lyrune-Quah. Does pretty typical paladin stuff RP-wise, but carries a giant-ass bow, wears light armor, and can't fight in melee worth a damn. |
