Is the guard in the courtyard or the barn or somewhere else? If he dropped would he be immediately obvious to other guards? I'm considering taking him down and then bluffing that it was a false alarm, but it's pointless if he's bleeding out in the open. (hopefully 1d8+3d6+4 can take him down)

Stealth Synergy is a feat where if people are sneaking together, they all use the best roll of any person with the feat. Since I'm an Inquisitor, I get to cheat and use any of your rolls even when you don't have the feat. With two people, it raises the average from 10.5 to 15. As you get more people you get even better.

It makes nonstealth people into decent stealthers and stealthy people into ghosts.

When I GM it's never automatic. I usually use sense motive against a target of 10+ (1/2 level)+Wis It's a roll triggered when something feels out of place. Ravens are curious and humans tend to drop interesting scraps.

She will then drag the unconscious Sheriff back for proper punishment. Reporting in, she hears the Baron's orders. "It shall be done, My Lord." She will ignore Cruor's comments until the Baron shows offense.

With that she enters a meditative state. She focuses to seek out the information they need.

Even with a save, she gets the -4 for one round, but it doesn't matter because she missed with only the -2

As she nimbly dodges the axes, she strikes in with her mace again. Between knowing her enemy and focusing Asmodeus' wrath, it seems to be a solid hit. "Why do you persist in opposing those superior to you?"

Swift for another round of bane. Going for lethal since I already have nonlethal and a shaken for many more rounds.

I got a little messed up too, but I think I've cleared it up. There are two main foes - the werebear bartender upstairs and the sheriff who has run out the window.

Did Appula step into flank? It doesn't show on the map, but she did mention stepping in her post.

With a studied eye, she takes a moment to observe the sheriff and to focus Asmodeus' wrath against her. Like Appula, she strikes to disable, not kill. After all, somebody wanted a skin.

Move action for Studied target, swift action for bane. Striking for nonlethal.

Inquisitors can cast detect good, detect evil, detect chaos and detect law, one at a time, at will. By doing all four over the course of the introduction, she knows what people are. It's a habit, though she knows that you have all been vouched for by members of the organization.

Taissa stiffens for a moment as seeing Patronicus's aura of good, but relaxes at the wink. Such concealment is common enough, and smart protection in some cases.

There is a nod and a pleasant smile at Kayla as she enters. Though she refrains from grabbing her. After all, every person in this room is a known killer.

She follows along the information, "As we come closer to the site, I can find out more by diving the rebel's activities. I can help with scouting as well. Once we know more, we'll know best how to take her and her group down."

Of course you aren't the intimidator. You are the one who looks cute. This means that they are all going to pay attention to us scary types while you silently kill them from behind. That's teamwork!

Hello everybody!

Good to be here. I think this will work well. I like what I see so far. Especially Miss Adorable Death. It looks to be a half female groups and there are a lot of us humans here. Yep, a bunch of humans sitting around doing human things.

I did want to specifically bring up something. We have two intimidators now. And if the Lucky Halfling is going for damnation feats on a Cha-based caster, he'll be a third intimidator.

I look at this as more of a cool theme than stepping on people's toes, but I do want to hear if anybody has any issues. Especially in an evil game. I've had plenty of games where player problems led to problems with the games. I want to know that any in-character dysfunction is just in character and player issues get talked about OOC.

Fortunately intimidation stacks. If they are already shaken, it extends the duration. I think that the +5 DC only counts when the same person intimidates the same target, so multiple people should be able to scare the target and keep them with that nice -2 penalty.

When Taissa entered the room, she was wearing ordinary travelling clothes - the kind a merchant might wear. But within this secure place she runs her hands down her arms and her clothing changes to black velvet with red trim. It is the vestment of an Asmodean inquisitor, clothing only worn among those who have earned a level of trust.

She has the pale skin of Chelaxian heritage, but no obvious features of any of the noble houses. In contrast, her sharp eyes are nearly as black as her shoulder-length hair.

She kneels to Razalglo, showing her fealty to his infernal authority. At his nod, she rises and pours herself a deep red shiraz from the table. Though at first glance one might expect her to be cold, she makes pleasant small talk until everybody arrives, though she occasionally appears a little distracted. Using detect alignment and detect magic on the room, just in case.

When it comes time for introductions she smiles to the group, "I am Taissa Hellseeker." The name is pronounced Hell's Seeker. "I hunt those who threaten the First and his interests on this world. I use words, weapons, magic and skill. Whatever is needed to bring pain and fear to those who oppose us. I look forward to working with you."
