Szinorvir - I am really sorry that you didn't quite make the table... He would have been a fun character at either of the tables - so, if you don't mind, could I keep you in reserve in the event of player drop out at either table? Sad Panda Face! Lol, seriously though, yeah, I'm fine with being a reserve player. Looking forward to reading both tables, should be interesting.

Szinorvir reporting with an updated background. The background is pretty much the same. I just added in the encounter where he used up pretty much the last of his drug stash, and was "befriended" by goblins (with very painful pointy objects aimed at him) and persuaded to come back to the village. This allows a couple of options. 1, he can already be in the village before the problems begin. 2, the group of goblins that "picked him up", as it were, were a raiding party or something and he hasn't gotten to the village yet at the start of the game. Or if neither of those work, I'm sure something can be arranged, seeing as I know nothing of the goblin village I'm just shooting in the dark here. Edit: wrong alias
... Can I add one more name to the pot? If we get five goblins: Space Goblin Five! Looking forward to this one, like, a LOT. Wondering if I should stat out one goblin though just in case. Oh, and Sparky... Bufo? How unrefined... Here, try some Opium instead...
Hmmm.. I'd really actually like to get Szinorvir into the goblin game as himself. Best thing I can come up with so far (admittedly, my mind's been everywhere BUT pathfinder lately), is he used the last of his drug stash as a 'cloud' attack (inhaled) to get a small band of goblins high in a misguided attempt to escape, which didn't quite work out so they decided to keep him because he can provide the village with "Fun Powder". So he's kind of a "guest"... If there's a time limit on the goblin table, I'd like to know it, so I know when to devote some more time to figuring out how to fix up Szinorvir's background for it.... He could surface near the goblin village and get taken in for whatever reason, for example. (Probably because of the good portion of his Shiver stash which gets used up in the background as is, lol.) I just haven't had the time nor mental capacity to really think too hard on it lately, lol.
I don't mind linking backstories. I left Szinorvir's background of how he got to Varisia (after the trip from Goka) purposefully vague for just that reason.
Good luck to all who entered! As a side note: I noticed you're planning on using the Variant Multiclass rule? Is that mandatory, or only for those interested? Also, time to go read up on hero points. Edit: Huh.... May go for antihero, if possible... I don't know if hero points would benefit me all that much, lol.
... It dawns on me... Does the "midnight" mean, "soon as it hits midnight and is the 19th, recruiting is closed"? I hope not. Cause I think I would've missed it by like, an hour (my last post, that is).
Artemis here with Szinorvir! Editing as is, should be finished by like, 3AM. Built it offline first. Now I'm going through and being fancy with the character sheet with URLs to spells and so on. Edit: For reference, it's 1:42AM where I am, so... Yeah. One of these days, I'm going to save the template I use to make character sheets on here. |
