Hey, wanted to drop a reminder that I am in a low cell area and taking a class from early to late this week. Bot me if needed.

Also I bet the belt is here to let someone speak, read and write Dwarven.

@GM Aldizog - How high up is the next level?

Stormy signs and shakes her head. No. We shall not use any animal to check for traps. It's an animal and it is trying to help us. Will you never learn? I'll happily go first for a while.

No healing currently memorized (used on Shade), which is why I recommended we rest IF we do not have a time crunch.

I recommend we close those doors and rest up before continuing. Grog has some nasty wounds there and I'd like to try to heal them some.

Any reason we are in a hurry?

Stormy full attacks as well but now has Heroism to add in.

Shilelagh: 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 1 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 12 + 2 + 1 + 2 - 2 = 292d6 + 7 + 6 ⇒ (3, 2) + 7 + 6 = 18

I'd bring in Shade but it's already tight quarters and his 1d6+X is not going to do much damage with DR 10.

Note that 1) Stormy goes before Grog, and Grog is large. So I am gonna make him large and move him back 5' so Stormy can get to the same enemy... Cool?

Was hoping for a little more info from Detect Magic.

One moment. Stormy uses wands to cast first Longstrider and then Shilelagh. She then nods that she is ready to enter the chamber. Telling Shade to "stay" she asks Who is going with me? She will then step in.

Inghild, you were brave and have been successful in defending this part of your home. We fought and killed orcs on the way here so they still occupy the caverns leading to this place. Can you tell us more of the history of this city leading up to its fall? And my friend here she indicates the historian is a scholar with much training in history. If you know of any repositories of lore or knowledge that should be preserved you should tell us of those as well.

Stormy bows low to the spectral dwarf as she studies the map. in Common she says to the group She is our guide. Someone jot down this map in case it is suddenly lost. She wants to know what we seek. The Stele of this city, right?

Turning back to the spectral dwarf Stormy continues in dwarven:

Spoiler:

Well met. We are indeed friends of Koldukar. I am Stormy. Might I have your name? We seek the Stele of Koldukar, but would also learn of the history of this great place. What can you tell us?

Stormy has Shade sit for the casting of Heroism. If rust monsters come Shade and I can safely engage them. she states as she eyes the statues and waits for the result of the detection of magic.

If magic or not, once the party is ready Stormy with approach a statue, mimic the hand gesture. and at 20' speak to it in dwarven. We are not orcs or friends of orcs and seek to enter through the doors you guard. This should cover the old "speak friend and enter. :) If she gets no result she will repeat the process as she closes to the statue.

Stormy uses one of the potions of CMW on Shade, leaving the other for Grog.

CMW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (6, 7) + 3 = 16 That is 27 of 45

She then uses 4 charges from her want to completely close the cat's wounds. If no one objects I would like to let Shade use this amulet. If no one objects she hands the amulet of natural armor around the cat's neck.

Stormy Shoots daggers out of her eyes at Sylvester then moves to Shade and casts her only healing spell on the gravely wounded cat.

Cure Light: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

She then pulls her wand of cure light and begins to use it to bring the cat back to full.

Shade was within 5 of going down.

I believe Shade can use the belt and/or the amulet. Not sure about the belt - may Be only magic settles?

You went back to this so I can too. :) In Rats of Round Mountain (one of them) I wanted to fight the dragon instead of pay tribute. But the group voted to pay. So I went along and did not fireball the dragon. And I really wanted to, but likely someone or ones would have died. At a real table it's easier to gather consensus. I believe in PFS it should be consensus. If Shade dies expect Stormy to be furious. If it would not mess up the table she would likely just leave since PVP is not allowed. She is already gonna be quite pissed. But this is all RP. And I think it now unlikely Shade will die. But he would have if even one of those crits had confirmed. It was that close.

I was ready to fight right off but Sylvester asked for a moment to parley as that is somewhat his thing. But when my request to duel was agreed to by the orcs Sylvester had no patience to see how the duel would come out. This is what bugged me the most. As I see it I accommodated you but you were unwilling to accommodate me. With those rolls from the barbarian it might have saved my, ore Grog's life, which is ironic.

Yes, 28 with Haste. Two hard hits but at least no confirm. Shade is still up but another hit would likely kill him.

Shade snarls in rage as he is wounded so badly and attacks the thing that hurt him.

Bite: 1d20 + 10 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 10 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 301d8 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 2 = 16

Party Buffs: Haste, Bless, IC+2

Shade plays with it's new toy. In it's full round set of attack Hope I get this right... It first has to see if it maintains the grapple, then rakes, then drops the grapple to bite and claw and haste bite.

Maintain Grapple: 1d20 + 16 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 16 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 5 = 28

That was three 1s, :(

Dropping her wand Stormy advances and attacks the barbarian.

MW Cold Iron Scimitar: 1d20 + 13 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 13 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 261d8 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 6 + 2 = 15

If Shilelagh was cast to hit would be the same but damage is 2d6+1 vs 1d8. Likely not a lot of difference... Wonder why I bother to cast it now. lol

Right. I am embarrassed to admit that I had forgotten the haste. It would not stack with the unnecessary Longstrider. GM Aldizog, could you allow Stormy the benefit of the doubt and so to switch the change of Longstrider for one of Shilelagh? That is her normal, non-shifting, first round action.
