Stersk stand still for a few moments after the gun fires off, it sounded like a solid shot and hit, but the sudden lack of cries and toppling sound, along with the splatter of something liquid suggests that maybe, just maybe, he blew her head off? "Oi! Someone with proper, working eyes, Di I just blow off her head? I knew I wasn't too old to be doing this adventuring stuff! The dread mercenary Moltengaze is BACK!" He gives a cheer and a hearty chuckle before realizing everyone's attention is elsewhere and he nearly walked into a tree in his swagger.

I don't think this persistent damage that gets added because of a crit (much like the extra die from deadly/fatal) gets doubled. If it was something in the base spell then most certainly. (Also, given how it's already heightened, wouldn't double be 4d4?)

Stersk still holding the katana, quickly flings the sheath off somewhere into the bushes and draws out his clan pistol.

He then strides closer to the hag thing. Stersk seems to be tokenless on the map. He then raises his postol and fires a shot at the thing. "Really can't hear what you're saying over the sound of the pistol. Bow? Like bow-wow? Are you imitating a dog? Never get what goes through some people's heads! "

Stersk tip-taps through the forest slowly, barely able to keep up with everyone due to the unstable footing, but the sounds of everyone else is more than enough to keep him on track. He finally makes it to where everyone else is gun in hand and a twinkle in his milky white eyes. "Where's the target? Why isn't anyone fighting? What, you made peace? And are going after some evil kami? At least tell me you got SOMETHING from all this!"

With a huff he takes the blade and tests the weight of it. "Hrmm, I might be able to use this, but I'd be using it and the sheath to find my way, so if someone can use it better, please do so!"
Stersk can use martial weapons, but (at least for RP purposes) is probably not the best person to hold it.

But in all seriousness, Qigig is a shoo in at this point and Stersk could use a hero point pretty well. He rolls twice the d20s of most characters (flat checks.)

Stersk moves up to the skittering thing in blue and raises his cane as he reloads his gun.

He can't read what the man or his pupil are doing and listening to an instruction in the arcane mysteries of the Arcane magics in a language he doesn't understand is unconducive to conversation. He sidles up to Qigiq and Jak, also adding in, "We going to be here long? I feel more useless than water in a rainstorm."

From outside of the establishment there's the sound of a stick rythmically hitting the ground, tip-tap tip-tap. After a moment of quieter conversation an older, dishvealed looking dwarf slowly and carefully ducks into the place. He pauses and pulls back his hood revealing a incongrously meticulously groomed beard and the pearly white and scarred eyes of someone who has clearly lost their vision.

He listens to the various conversations happening, before honing in on the Pathfinders. Using his stick in hand, he tip-taps up to the low table everyone is around. "You're Pathfinders, right? Erastil's Broken Bow string I hope you are!" He feels out for the table and an empty spot before slowly lowering himself into a sitting position. "First mission for the Society after I join to start earning money to send back to Eltran's Folly and what do they do? Send me an entire continent and a half away, where people BARELY speak Taldane and nothing makes sense. Who the flip made doors that SLIDE open? I swear I spent 5 minutes trying to get a door open to a restroom before some kind soul showed me how to do it. At least people are kind and helpful to the elderly and blind here."

As the dwarf rants he pulls out a jug of some unusual liquid and feels the side of it before popping the lid. "Anyone want some turnip ale? It's my own vintage!" Even from a distance it smells like it could probably varnish wood, if you tried.

"So what're we doing so far away from everything I know?"

Well if you wanted a healer who's level 4 and going make things difficult without doing much to help mitigate that, I could... But more importantly, I've been wanting to bring Stersk into Society play ever since I finished Fall of Plaguestone with him.
