Well that works too, then, I'll adjust accordingly instead of a full rewrite, Its been a while since I played anything divine-related in the Lawful range. My last religious character was a Summoner who worshipped Pharasma. ![]()
![]() I humbly submit to you for consideration, Okian Iottlod. I left the name of his god out as I was unsure if we are using the standard pathfinder pantheon or something else. ![]()

I'll draw one up tonight. Probably either a Paladin or Sorcerer. Maybe a fighter, not sure yet. ![]()
![]() When in doubt, I tend to go simple, thinking a human unchained barbarian or fighter, maybe with a rank or two of vigilante to represent the idea that his personality when "performing" would be different than on the street away from the Crawl. Have not yet decided though between the two main classes. ![]()

True true, plus there is extra evolution as a feat, and psychopomps get an extra point at level 8, if I remember rightly. Also, it is an Unchained Summoner, not the traditional one. I much prefer running the unchained version, as I feel like the original summoner class can steal the spotlight from other players in every respect. ![]()
![]() Okay, that makes sense to me, though that does make 2-point evolutions or higher impossible to obtain, since points cannot be saved for the summoner's pool. As for the Eidolon, the stats are as follows: Daena
Init +1; Senses Low Light Vision; Perception +4, Darkvision 60ft. --------------------
--------------------

![]() So, I have been looking into joining a long term pbp game. As for the character, I was thinking of using a purely Unchained Summoner. He has a Psychopomp Eidolon, which I will upload the stats for in the morning. Calathes
Init +2; Senses Low Light Vision; Perception +2 --------------------

Background: Born to a pair of serfs, Calathes was abandoned by them at birth since they just could not afford to raise him. Forced to live out in the wilderness, Calathes learned to survive, but the malnutrition left him with a slender body even for his own kind and a lack of any real strength. Living in the wild for his developmental years left Calathes a wild mess, but also left him with an incredible tenacity and drive to survive. Things changed for him in his 12 year of life when he was found by a wandering priest of Pharasma. The man took him under his wing and helped Calathes develop some semblance of social skills. In fact, he could be downright charming, when he chose to speak. But where his true interests lay were in the worship of Pharasma, who, in his mind, had ensured that he had a chance to survive and meet his true fate later on in life. He always felt a debt to her, in that regard, which was why he always felt as though she was talking back to him when he prayed. Over time, the pair travelled far and wise and Calathes grew to enjoy the study of history as well, for there was little else for a young boy of Cal's age to do at that time when serving with a priest. He was aided by the female voice in his mind, which told him her name was Daena. They grew closer, and closer, until the day of the earthquake. The massive rent in the earth separated Cal and his mentor, Vaddyn, for many years, and left them off seeking one another and generally working to best serve their goddess. But on that day, something else changed, and Cal's connection with Daena grew, strong enough that he could call her down from the planes beyond. They grew closer, and she helped him to learn more about his gifts and the use of some basic magic. Cal learned that Daena was a Psychopomp of Pharasma, sent to help Cal achieve his fate in life, to be an instrument against the undead, just as Daena was. They wandered for many years, until one more fateful day, the day they came to Averlorn. The day the population of that small town went from 50 to 2. The two survivors said that a wild looking half-elf and his tall, lanky, creature slaughtered everyone without provocation. The truth was not quite as it seemed, but the news spread like wildfire and soon, Cal could not use his real name, and even took to keeping more withdrawn than before, lest someone recognize him as the Butcher of Averlorn. Well, I hope that helps put me in a good position to play with you all. Lemme know what you think about the backstory. |
