If you want the later sex shift to be under your control, there is always the relatively cheap Elixir of Sex Shift.

The GooG is a cursed item, so doubt the elixir could undo that effect without the curse being broken first. And honestly, after she changes back I can't see a reason for her to go out of her way to change back into a girl. Especially with how the elixir says it doesn't help with disguises, which i find weird. how can one change sex and not be disguised?

For instant, even if you looked mostly the same, the most minor changes. you go from a man to a woman, same hair length and style and a similar looking face. Small breasts and and overall similar body shape. How many people who see you are not going to, once they take a closer look, just think they were mistaking you for someone else?

Good catch -- so what you need to undo the effects of the girdle would be Remove Curse, not other sex changing magic. That actually makes reverting to your original sex easier, as a 5th level Cleric could take care of it (for free if he is a party member).

Two Elixirs of Sex Shift would be an alternative approach that could work if you are presenting yourself as a member of the opposite sex to people who have never seen you before, but you are past the point where that would be useful.

Well also i got the "Belt of Really Good Disguise" for a really good price. Permanent sex change for 1200 gold (not that my character knew that when he bought it mind you. She actually took it off at night, expecting to turn back in the safety of their hide out and then started freaking out when nothing happened lol). Much cheaper than the 2,250 gold on each bottle of the ex shifting elixir.

Cast the spell Light on them. And then keep casting it on them everywhere they go.

In one 3.5 campaign, when my wife's female human evoker Maera died, she rolled 01 and was reincarnated as a bugbear. The GM rolled even odds on sex, and got male. These changes took some getting used to, but the bonuses to his physical stats made him significantly less fragile in combat, so he decided it was worth dealing with the social drawbacks. (NPCs were slow to trust the big hairy goblinoid, naturally.) He reversed the spelling of his name to Aream, kept prestidigitation constantly prepped to keep all that fur presentable, and dived back into spell research and adventuring.

Aream was now the most intelligent bugbear in the world. Hruggek, god of the bugbears, started sending him dreams promising him anything he might want--wives, armies, money, magic items--if he would just agree to sire some smarter offspring on these lovely bugbear concubines that Hruggek sent to him. The DM based his nonhuman gods on the old 1E Deities & Demigods book, so Hruggek was an utter moron compared to Aream, and could never think of anything that remotely tempted the wizard. But his blundering attempts became a huge running joke in the campaign.

Sounds pretty wild and crazy and that the party was having fun with it.

Wait, what happened? You were an elf and you had to take on the form of just any body that just happen to be lying around? Were you like a ghost looking to posses someone?

You could try pregnancy. If it's not your thing after a couple months (swollen breasts, morning sickness, armor and clothes no longer fitting after you just had them altered to your new feminine form), just turn back...

GMs looove dealing with those situations.

Maybe if my goal was to have my character have rocks fall onto her and be kicked out of the party lol.

Reincarnate makes for some excellent roleplaying opportunities. When my half-elf reincarnated druid died, the next day he woke up a couple of miles away as a kitsune. Confused, he followed his "previous body sense" back to his house, whereupon he staggered, naked into his own funeral. The party very nearly killed him again. Once everybody figured out what had happened, he was supposed to come up with some sort of safe word for the next time he died, but who has time for that? Fortunately, it never came up.

I been reincarnated before. My character woke up as a ratfolk. Lucky for me they were a wizard so the new stats didn't effect him much. Didn't get to RP with the idea much unfortunately, the game broke apart a few weeks later.

4. You awake on a ship to the screams of others. You get out of bed and notice the floor is wet and the ship is sinking. You run for the door but it is locked. the voices of your party can be heard and you cry out for help. They don't respond and soon they are distant and gone. The water is rising and the candle light goes out. The water is cold and up to your chest as the room tilts and the door is now above you. you are running out of room and know it is your end. All you can do now is wait for the ocean to take you.

Power attack, I use it all the time, but keep on forgetting

Oh yes, I have most of my characters with a happy or neutral backstory. Currently playing a fighter that all he did was run away from home because he wanted to adventure. And then later on he came back home to his family who were pretty cross with him but still loved him and supported him.
My character wrote to his family all the time, sending a portion of his gold to them to hope it helps out on their farm.

So in my last game my fighter asked a vendor for a magical item to help him disguise himself due to how covert the mission was going to be (infiltrating a royal ball to gather inlet on a villain). He sold my character this belt at a price he couldn't refuse, and as it turns out the belt was the infamous Girdle of Opposite gender.

So my character is a girl now and after talking with the party decided to stay that way since technically it is the best disguise for the situation. I am having fun playing it and the other players are joining in on the fun.

Next Session we will be going into a dungeon and then into the ball proper, I am looking forward to seeing what my character might get into while in this form, and some of the players are plotting to keep her a female.

This is the first time I have had a character be hit with the Girdle of opposite gender and it is fun. One party member is trying to be helpful and another one is trying to tease her at every corner and another is just upset that my character is treating being a girl as just a disguise. Lots of different reactions and roleplaying opportunities.

Anyone else have shape-changing related moments in their games? Anything you think I should try before my character turns back (or if she turns back if some players have their ways).

Where are all the lycanthropes? I know it will take some time to get all the pathfinder classics brought into space, but they are a classic. i been wondering what the rules will be since in space the moon can be anywhere. You cna have lycanthropes on a moon.

What do shirren use for hosts (the third sex besides males and females)?

The human language shouldn't encompass a 3rd sex. So in Common it should be up to the GM what people are referring to them. Maybe a new one like

He Him His
She Her Hers
Te Ter Tris

Or maybe some word play with "host"

The little trap makers, on of the most iconic monster fodder next to goblins. With their affinity for tinkering they should be in space with the others. What is the lore around them, are they on Triaxus? Did their trap making prowess translate into them being naturals in tech companies? Did their xenophobia hold them back at all, or like the Elves are they prospering in their own way?

Oh I love the take on the elves. I wanna stay away from the old core races, but the current elf lore really makes me want to play one!

The planet use to hold Rovagug, a being stronger then any other deity, that took all for them together to seal him away. The Gap means everyone forgot about that planet, even the gods themselves. Now we have this nameless god that has the same MO as Rovagug.

My theory is that Rovagug got free, and caused the gap. He took the planet with him wherever he went and the main plot Paizo will focus on is finding this rogue god and ending him before he destroys the universe.

Quig because I like the idea of a tiny Ysoki going around the ship fixing everything and having a buddy Ai or droid.

It has been many many years since the days of these races being the bottom of the barrel, fodder for low level parties. We now live in space and the core races have been changed. New classes have popped up and new tech. Everyone has star ships now as well. What do you think became of these ankle bitters?

let's look at Goblins. They are not dumb, but they are scavengers, using other race's advancements for their own gain. they can make weapons, but their Dogslicers are fragile and easily break. Their armor and clothing is made up of things they find from animals and people they manage to catch and take from them.

Unless something drastically changed their culture they could be seen as a race that still takes from other races and builds their own, lesser versions of their weapons. The name Dogslicer and Horus chopper come from their hate of these beast, whatever weapons they make might share such distinctions against what they hate now.

As for Kobolds they live underground and usually worship dragons, demons, or any other powerful thing that they believe will share the power with them or they will somehow gain strength by having one on their side. They are expert trap makers and tinkerers making them very likely to be successful in the new tech based setting.

being stripped from their home planet like the rest they would need to adapt and I can easily imagine them excelling as miners and helping to advance tech for corporations.

Something like what Umbrella Corp from Resident Evil would be, but in space.

As much as i LOVE aliens like Metroids and Xenomorphs I'd have to say that I hope none of them make it into the game. Maybe getting inspiration and building their own monsters, but really the less monsters carrying over the better. Besides, GMs can always make their own monsters, no need for Paizo to add them in.

Plot twist, they are have grown from being the ankle biters we all know and love to being a major space military power that has dragons working for them.

Perhaps the trigger is something a bit more rare then? maybe a commit or some kind of space radiation.

Ok so I was watching some Buzz lightyear of Starcommand a while ago while planing for a pathfinder game. I remember these forms are up and I was just wondering if there are any plans for some cool classic monsters turned into more space themed monster.

like the nos-4-a2 energy vampire that had control over any tech he corrupted. or the "Wirewolf", a human that when hit by some form of radiation turns into a fully robotic werewolf. Probably can be extended into other lycanthropic forms as well
