I ran this yesterday and I really enjoyed it, my only real complaint was that it was really long. But our group was really getting into the role playing side of things and to the openness of the first half of the mod. They were exploring and interacting with the environment and people. We had a blast but it took us 5 1/2 hours and we rushed at the end since the venue was closing.
I will say this is not one you want to run cold, there is too much going on and too much to understand. I found a tracking sheet online at pfs prep that really helps with the factions. I normally read through mods twice before I run them and I really needed it on this one. On the second read through I think it all fell into place.
Pezzack and its people are very interesting and the mod does not get into that enough but there are other resources. Having "Towns of the Inner Sea" helped, there is a full write up that I printed out and brought to the table. But I initial looked at the pathfinder wiki, "http://www.pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Pezzack" to get going and it provided enough to get the feel and history for this mod.
I gave it 4 stars for story, setting and openness. The draw backs complexity and length. I know these type of mods tend to get bad ratings but as a GM I really like this type as long as you have time to prepare
This set is brings out the evil GM in me!!! Muh ha ha ha ha ha ha...There are so many expertly drawn figs it is it crazy. Plus you have mounted and unmounted versions of a hand full for large creatures. Nicely done Mr. Westcot, nicely done!
Great Set of minis! I can not wait to get these on the table!!!!
Great Art..I particularly like Greta. Covers everything you need plus a few extra. I love the theme, it seems to fit Reign of Winter perfectly and is consistent with the "The Snows of Summer" set. Bravo!
The best part is that all of it is an optional add on to the existing gaming system. Well done! The system builds upon everything done so far. The idea of having Mythic tiers run along side normal class progression works well. This allows for greater flexibility and varied implementation within every game. Very nice
I found this book to be the favorite out of the Books of the Damned series. The Horseman, Abaddon and the Daemons are truly evil. No deals, no wants nothing but destruction. The book is well written, holds together nicely and provides enough information to base an entire campaign around the content. Well Done!!!!
Great set of minis, two of every class (male and female) and a bunch of extras. Well worth the price. Plus where else are you going to find the ever elusive Halfling Ninja?? Also they work well on VTT, clear and easy to see. Nice Job!
I have never run or played in the adventure path before and decided to purchase it and prepare for the our next campaign. Great book!! The story seems consistent, coherent and interesting..the book is laid out well and easy to follow. Also I love the mini tie in! Great job!!!
It is a good book..it has almost everything in but it is missing a few things that seem like they should be there. Things like Agile magic weapon and Wayfinders. But it does have a lot interesting and some what useless stuff. A Mithra Waffle Maker???
I also personally find the format hard to read, the stat blocks at beginning and the crafting blocks at the end are the same. Since they are the same and the book formatting seems to flow it makes it hard to read.
I like the book but was hoping for more.......
Great book for anybody looking to expand the races with in there campaign. Lots of options with lots of detail. It also provides a good bunch of other character options for the current supported races. All in all a very good book
