I had one of those crazy busy days that ended with a parent of a female soccer player chewing me (the coach) out because I wasn't fair and didn't play their child enough in tonight's game on the U16 coed (mostly boys) soccer team I'm coaching. Man, those two twenties for Skybek helped brighten my day!

Skybek raises his hands calling upon Cayden Cailean's power and brings his hands down with a quick remark that sounds like "Hot Potatoes!" to cast Flame Strike on the great Ettin! Flame Strike: 10d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 1, 6, 1, 3, 6, 3, 3) = 34 Reflex DC20 half A vertical column of fire comes down from the sky engulfing the ettin and the red minion. Skybek smiles under his bushy beard as he grips Crimzor tightly in his hands, preparing to use it!

Skybek puts his holy tankard to use once again and repeatedly casts restoration on Quinn. Trex, what rolls are you looking for? Restoration will heal all of the ability damage of one ability score. In this case, let's start by healing the constitution damage. The second restoration will heal the charisma damage. After pouring more frothy ale over the fox, Skybek pets the fox over where the clumps of fur were missing but now healed. "Aye, yae seem much mair yerself, mae friend! Ahh hope yae dannae get intae any mair curse trouble in this place." Turning to Isthemes, Skybek remarks, "What makes yae think that this dwarf would use his oon healin powers tae remove the curse frae Zuberi? He's nae a cute fox is he? We are here tae put an end tae his villainous ways! Noo tell me mae friend, what dae yae ken aboot the fella? What can we expect when we meet the bugger?"

"Aye, Ahh'm happy tae remove that Mummy's Curse! Stay still mae wee fox, this willnae hurt a bit!" Skybek removes his tankard and begins casting Remove Curse. "Cayden Cailean, Ahh come tae yae as a humble dwarf seekin help fer my fine Vulpes friend here! Remove any nasty curses given tae him by these walkin death rag beasties!" The dwarf hold his tankard in the air until it fills with an amber ale and eventually froths. Skybek then gently pours it over the fox's head cleansing him of his curse. "Dae yae feel better mae friend? One bonus oot o' all this is that beer also gud shampoo fer yer fur. Once it dries, yer fur will be silky soft!"

"Nae bad, mae friends! Crimzor was sorry tae miss the action, but Ahh see that yae all handled yerself well withoot him. At least we put those walking wrappings tae rest and hopefully fer gud!" Turning to the black robed figure, Skybek replies. "Well met, Isthemes. Ahh'm Skybek Odeon at your service. What brings yae and yer companions doon here? Dae Ahh tak it that yae were doon here seekin Zuberi as well? He must be a popular fella. So, what dae yae ken aboot the fella? Daes he live nearby? Is he a man or a beast? Hold on just a moment. Mae fox friend is hav' some trouble here." Turning to see what help he can offer, he approaches Quinn. "Quinn, Ahh hope yae dannae hae a hangover frae all mae channelin! Yae dannae look sae gud mae friend. Sit doon and rest fer a moment." I have restoration and remove curse prepared, but I do not have remove disease unless we rest and I prepare it. Is Mummy Rot a curse or disease? I keep thinking disease, but I always associate Mummies with curses.

Once given the all clear from Quinn, Skybek moves forward and looks to see if the survivor is a pathfinder or at least not a cultist. He then casts cure light wounds upon him. Once Skybek gets hauled out of the pit, he approaches Quinn. "Quinn, mae dancin fox friend, yae dannae look like yer up tae dancin at the moment. Lemmae see what Ahh can do for yae." Skybek pulls out his tankard and casts lesser restoration on Quinn. Using his pearl of power, he makes it a double. "Mighty Cayden Cailean, fill mae tankard with yer healing ale that we may restore wisdom back tae a fox. Ahh ask this in gud faith." Suddenly his tankard begins filling up with frothy beer. Once the foam starts spilling over the sides, the dwarf then takes his tankard and pours the holy ale over the fox's head. Restoration, Lesser: 1d4 ⇒ 2
"Quinn, Quinn, .... How dae feel? Yae may be a wee bit damp frae the holy beer, but Ahh think Ah've healed most o' what ales yae."

"Crivenns!" Skybek swears and he pulls himself off of the spikes. "Who in the hells thought it was a good idea tae put these damn spikes here?! Dae they nae realize these are a hazard tae gud honest adventurers!" Once the company removes themselves from spikes, Skybek repeatedly channels energy to try and heal the wounds of himself and his companions. Channel Energy: 5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 1, 4) = 15

The fact that we got tae answer some riddles was an extra treat, but Ahh see that the real bonus was tae meet yae three delights. Can any o' yae fine folk help us tae set things right? Dae yae recognize these items? At the moment the biggest riddle seems tae be where is Khalfani Zuberi and what has he done wid yer corpses?"
