I'm still undecided on whether or not I'm going to be even purchasing the beta. I was excited with the first Alpha release, but the second one was just too disappointing. We'll see how things go.

If I do end up buying the hard cover, I would only get one for my entire group.

I never understood the point of this. I could live with the alignment restriction and I'm just going to houserule over this if it stays, but I really don't see how this silly multiclass restriction staying in the Paladin class is adding any fun or balance to the class. I just think that it is totally unecessary.

I thought I'd share.

Even more on Bards.

However, I am also considering removing the groups all together and just making this a flat bonus to weapon attacks and damage. It is easier, but has a bit less flavor to me.

I don't really see this as less flavor, just a different type of flavor.

I would really love psionics to be in the main book. I think that having psionics outside of the main book really causes people to think negatively about them because they aren't "core" and are somehow more optional than the classes and races inside the PHB. I've seen DMs not allow psionics more than I've seen them not allow a "core" class or race. Once I've even seen Clerics and Druids banned but Psionics allowed. There is nothing inherent to psionic powers that makes them unbalanced.

Fighters should be good at fighting with anything? They *are*. That's why they have a full fighter attack bonus. That's why they have tons and tons of feats to spend.

So, are Barbarians, Paladins, and Rangers not getting a full base attack bonus? Are they not allowed to take feats either? It usually doesn't take very long at all (especially for humans) to get the feats they need to match just about everything a Fighter can do in 3.5E. With an increased rate of gaining feats in the Paizo RPG, the one thing unique to 3.5E Fighters (a ton of feats) gets watered down further. You didn't need too many feats because you would just do the same attack every round. Fighters really need something to distance themselves from all other classes that get full base attack bonuses, because everyone else already gets feats.

Fighters shouldn't be good at fighting, they should be the best.

I think that Fighters should be awesome at fighting. Other classes can keep their Weapon Focus abilities to a single weapon, but Fighters are so great at fighting that they can get the best out of any weapon. Also, the limiting to a single weapon or weapon group really hurts Fighters who like to use two different weapons, like dual wielding an axe and a dagger or going back and forth between a longbow and greatsword.

In 3.5E, it was almost always better to dual wield shortswords as opposed to a longsword and shortsword because of these silly Weapon Focus limitations. I think that at least Fighters should be able to break these limitations and get their special bonuses with any weapon or armor, unless of course having a character with a backup suit of armor is some kind blasphemy of which I am not aware.

It's not like this is going to make Fighters unbalanced or overpowered, anyway, so you might as well simplify things for them while giving them the added flavor of being the best at fighting.

I'd like to see them fix the levels past 12 or so first before messing around with epic.

I find that since so many of the Combat Feats require you to use a full-round action in melee round after round, that it just becomes WAY too easy for an enemy to break a combo you are building up. All the enemy has to do is move 10ft or somehow prevent you from being able to use a full-round action for a round.

If you really want to keep the combo mechanic in the game, my suggestion would be to make it so that you can at least use the melee feats as a standard action, so that you could still use a move action.

I'd quickly drop my Amazon preorder of 4E core books if all Paizo offered was a free 4E adventure (created by Paizo) with them.

1- I already preordered the PHB. Unless it is absolutely horrible (not at all looking that way from the Rogue article at WotC), my entire group is switching.

2- I will subscribe for the first 4E series of Pathfinder adventures or immediately buy some Gamemastery 4E modules if those come out significantly sooner (Rise of the Runelords is long enough to last my group until 4E)

3- I'd probably purchase adventures made by WotC through the Paizo website, but nothing actually made by Paizo.

Voted. Pathfinder up by 5.

I would definetly buy this and run it in d20 Future. It's hard to find good pre-written d20 Future (or d20 Modern) modules.

I came by to figure out how to cancel my subscription, too. I guess this is the way. My group just doesn't play as fast as you guys put out adventures, we are still on #3. We'll probably finish RotRL when the 3rd AP is starting, and then we'll have a choice of which AP to play when the time comes or just pick up a bunch of Gamemastery modules. Don't worry, I'll be back when I run out of material to run.

Please cancel my subscription.

What about people who did a joint submission? Would the email only be sent to the first listed email address?

My PCs went for the free food.

The Shoanti Barbarian lands to the North should be Tundral / Arctic like terrain.

But that could be my biases slipping in here.

I think I read somewhere, although I can't remember where, that Sandpoint was like Minnesota for climate, which means it is nearly Tundral / Arctic like terrain to begin with. ;-)

I don't have any better suggestions for you though... Somewher far down South?

What if Sandpoint and Varissia are in the southern hemisphere, and the furthur you go south, the colder it gets but it is warmer in the north? Of course, I can't recall ever seeing a campaign set in a southern hemisphere.

Hi, I have a friend in Iraq who wants to order the first issue of Pathfinder. I told him about how you are sent a PDF version of the adventure if you subscribe, but I'm not sure if that is true for customers who don't subscribe.

He wants to have it shipped to his house in the US and use the PDF while in Iraq, basically. Will this happen if he orders it now?

I had problems downloading this in Opera. I would press Personalize, and then it would seemingly just refresh the screen and I'd be there on the page on where I pressed Personalize. I had to use Internet Exploder to personalize and download the file. It worked that way.

Edit: Nevermind, it seems to work in Opera, too. It just too a long time.

Yes! I finally got the PDF! I was wondering how long it would take for us non-charter subscribers to finally get this. Thanks to everyone at Paizo for all their hard work.
