The prisoner doesn't seem to respond to your bluff, but his thoughts portray that he was told by his gang to Kreel from the other gang, that was his instructions.

You make your way to where the person you knocked unconscious is being held by security, who let you visit him. Looking up and giving you all a quick glance, he goes back to his business like he doesn't know who you are.

Available on the infosphere is the same information already known - that they are a street gang that claims level 21 of the Station's seedy lower decks as its territory. You'll need to ask around for other information. Will need a diplomacy or intimidate check

"It was not so much a job, but more an offer of potential membership that he wished to extend to you all. I have been told good things, and - this will act as a good method to test his claims," Chiskisk replied telepathically. "Unfortunately, I don't involve myself with the more lawless elements of the station, but I would begin by finding out what you can about the gangs from around the station, see what you can find out. You can take whatever method you feel more suited to, the only thing that is important here is the result. The strategy is in your hands," they concluded.

Just sent a message to Brydan and Anomander, if they don't get back to me by the next post gonna deactivate their characters. Right now also waiting on Brydan to get a post up :)

The Shirren is also seated and begins telepathically communicating with each of you.

"I am sorry that I cannot welcome you to Absalom Station under better circumstances. I realize this may only be small comfort to you but may I reassure you what happened today is not a daily occurrence. I am pleased that none of you got seriously injured, but I grieve for Duravor's death. He was a valued member of the Society and a good friend. May the Lady of Graves be kind, in her judgement of his soul." The shirren briefly bows their head, then looks up again. You can see their compound eyes glittering.

"What puzzles me is the reason behind the attack." Chiskisk taps a few commands into their computer. "According to the incident report just released by station security, two gangs were involved in the attack: The Downside Kings and the Level 21 Crew. Now I can say gang wars are not uncommon here at Absalom Station, but they usually confine themselves to the more... lawless sectors, like the Puddles. It is very rare for these street gangs to battle openly in public areas like the docks. The security is much tighter, and most of them don't want innocent lives on their hands, just those of the opposing gang, and those foolish enough to cross onto their turf. I cannot help but wonder whether all is as it seems. There has to be a reason these two gangs were at Docking Bay 94 at that time, when you arrived, coincidentally. But was it a coincidence? Were you and Duravor just innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire, or might one of you have been specifically targetted, and this was a cover-up? And if so, why?

"I understand you had an offer from Kreel to come and meet him, it is because he felt that you would make a good addition to the Starfinder Society. Since you were witness to the attack, I would like to ask you to investigate the incident on behalf of the Society. Find out exactly what happened, and why. It may simply be a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time - I have no doubt station security will rule it so - but if Duravor was in fact murdered, I would like justice for my friend. At the same time, this will give you an opportunity to demonstrate your skills and abilities and show the Society that you are worthy to join the ranks of the Starfinders, so - that is now the job I have for you," Chiskisk says "Any questions?"

I post every 3 days or when everyone has posted (whichever happens to be first), so that's what I'm after from everyone - but after 7 days is when I get in contact if people haven't been posting :)

as Anomander and Werner haven't provided any bot information or posts - they are going to be delaying their action this turn

Initiative Order:
Anomander, Goblin, Simflay, Grulyn, Brydan, Werner, Masdok

Anomander is the first to act, and prepares himself for whatever the Goblins do next.

The goblins get their next attack as the goblin on the food table throws a steak knife towards Brydan (about 20 feet away).

Goblin attack roll towards Brydan: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 Damage if a hit: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

The goblin by the wagon pushes the wagon away to run over the dog that had its neck sliced by the goblin, as it rolls a little bit over, squashing the dog underneath the wagon.

Coming out from a loud voice you hear something that Werner understands is Goblin - as you look over to the Podium and the goblin is making noises into the stone that Father Zantus was using before this incident occurred.

Simflay seeing the danger and all of a sudden a gust of wind surrounds her, providing her with an extra layer of protection, as she begins making her way over to the goblin by the cathedral (you have chosen not to get into melee with it at this point - Your movement places you about 25 feet away from the cathedral and 20 feet away from the podium in front of it where people have been speaking throughout the day).

Grulyn sees the goblin throwing cutlery and notices that there is a large sharp knife by the goblin that might be more dangerous if thrown, and he makes his way over there. The goblin smiles but then Grulyn takes his strike, instantly taking out the goblin in one strike as it lays bleeding out on the ground.

Brydan lets out a whistle while opening his jacket, and an Eagle comes flying out from under the folds and heads towards the goblin, setting up for an attack next round.

Werner looks around and thinks about what would be the best thing to do in this situation As the player has left no bot actions and hasn't responded - gonna have him delay for now until everyone has posted again - if Anomander/Werner haven't posted I'll deactivate them as characters when I do the next round summary

Masdok then steps up and heads to the goblin that Simflay is also approaching, getting within 10 feet and able to strike with his longspear. Unfortunately, the goblin puts the thunderstone that the priest was using in the way which manages to block it, as it looks in Masdok's direction.

That's the end of the round, so you guys can put your next actions for the next round

"Please take a seat, you will be seen to shortly," the android said with more cheer than the situation demanded.

After several minutes pass, another SRO approaches and says "Please follow me for Chiskisk," and begins heading back the way he came. Following behind your led deeper and deeper into the complex, before arriving at a cluttered but clean office well within the complex.

Sitting in the room is a Shirren matching the description of Chiskisk from Kreel's computer. They are seated behind a desk that is made of plastic and completely unadorned. They wear understated business attire and their antennae from side to side - A shirren's way of saying they are perplexed.

"Welcome to the Starfinder Society" you all hear in your heads. "Please, help yourselves to a drink and some snacks. I have been informed that you were to be meeting with Kreel. Please, take a seat," they say into your heads.

And so the group of you make your way to the Lorespire Complex using the various routes. You arrive standing outside the entrance to the Starfinder Society HQ, and sitting at a desk is an android that says "Welcome to the Starfinder Society, please may we enquire as to the the nature of your visit?"

wanted to see if anyone wanted to continue a roleplaying moment W-12 set up, the plan is to post tomorrow to continue things if nobody wants to :)

The earlier actions will be the first round as the other two goblins did get a surprise round on the group - just waiting on Anomander and Werner for their first round moves.

"Our station medics will be able to handle it from here, and we can question him," the guard said.

Due to the nature of the gangs, Tetch knows the same information regarding the Level 21 crew as Netharan. When the Downside Kings are mentioned however, Tetch knows that they are a brutal street gang that controls several decks of Absalom Station's lower levels, or "Downside," through a combination of intimidation and violence. They are known to engage in a wide variety of illegal activities ranging from extortion, fraud, robbery, smuggling, and theft, to drug and arms trafficking, kidnapping, murder-for-hire, and trafficking in sentient species.

To find out more about either gang, the group would have to ask around and find the right people who would be either willing to talk, or could be... encouraged through more forceful measures.

The Security guard nods in response to Netharan's questions.

"We can confirm that one of the gangs involved in the shootout was the Level 21 Crew. The other gang was the Downside Kings. Tensions have been rising between both the gangs on the lower decks for some time now, but they usually keep this business below decks. As I said, they usually don't spill out into the public areas, and well, they aren't exactly the biggest fans of Station Security. For obvious reasons," he says with a shrug.

Having a look at the thug, Netharan notices a couple of things, the first is that he was armed with a laser pistol. The second is the insignia of the Level 21 Crew.

The Level 21 Crew are a street gang that claims (unsurprisingly) Level 21 of Absalom Station's lower decks and its territory. They have been known to partake in theft, fencing stolen goods, gambling, prostitution, racketeering and smuggling. This particular goon was one of the ones shooting towards the east, and the shot that hit Kreel came from the other side of the Docking Bay, suggesting these were shooting on another gang. The one that shot Kreel was most likely from that other gang.

Looking towards Kreel's body, lying next to him is his computer, which is currently showing your names and a brief description, as well as one additional name: Chiskisk, HQ, Lorespire Complex.

Those from around Absalom Station know that the Lorespire Complex is one of the districts located in the ring. A cluster of buildings with a large spire in the centre from which it gets its name. It's known specifically for being the home to the Starfinder Society main HQ.

After a few minutes, the Security forces approach the group and give you all a nod.

"Sorry to trouble you, citizens. We were made aware of a gang fire, and heard you had just arrived at the station. We want to apologize for that, and to assure you that these things do not usually spill into the public areas of the station. The gangs usually keep things down below.

We don't feel we should trouble you for defending yourselves in such a situation, and we are aware you didn't start the fight. For you, it was a matter of the wrong place at the wrong time, I'm afraid.

We won't be charging you with anything for that. But if there is any information you feel would be important, then please do tell us," the Security guard that comes up to question you asks.

We'll be doing this as theatre of the mind, just easier on PbP to do it that way, your right that that is correct that people do usually roll initiative - but I find it easier if you roll because I let you all post your moves first, then do a post at the end with the summary, including the NPCs - just the way I find works as the most convenient - and as either way I'd be waiting for everyone to post, you might as well roll initiative as well in the initial one.

Also, your correct that none are within melee reach, but the square is about 50 feet by 30 feet. I'll cover the rest when everyone has posted :)

None of the group has yet spotted the Goblin that killed the dog, but as you look over to where the dog is, coming from behind the cart are three goblins. You can hear getting louder and louder as they get closer to you (though not coming from these goblins) a chant.

"Goblins Chew and Goblins Bite
Goblins Cut and Goblins Fight
Stab the Dog and Cut the Horse
Goblins Eat and Take by force"

They are all in separate areas - one is on top of a table, kicking over food from the table and laughing with glee, Another is playing with the podium on the stage about 30 feet away from the cart, and the other is jumping on the dead dog with maniacal delight. Making the smallest gap between the goblins about 15 feet.

As all of you were distracted by the one that ran through the crowd, you didn't notice the other ones and so those two get a surprise round.

The one on the table picks up and knife and throws it at Grulyn "Oi Shouty, shut up! Hehehehehehe" he laughs as he throws a knife in your direction.

The knife goes flying past Grulyns shoulder as the Goblin jumps up and down continuing with the maniacal laughter that pierces the air.

The one playing with the podium knocks the podium crashing onto the ground on the floor, laughing as he does so, but doesn't take any attacks.

As none of you noticed the other two goblins, they get a surprise round on you. Your actions above will happen on your initiative, on that note, we'll need to roll - also Anomander and the Doc can also roll for initiative, along with what they're planning their move to be

Goblin's Inititative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

As Miles starts looking and having a look around, one of the Security guards of the station calls out "Nobody leaves until we have dismissed you, we will have questions for all witnesses!"

By the time Miles might be able to see them, the Station Security have set up a perimeter and stopping people from leaving, but it looks like the gang member that murdered Kreel had already escaped.

Netharan - that would be a culture check

As the shot is fired by the gang member near Miles, he didn't pay any mind to the threat that approached behind him, unfortunately as Miles goes to stab him with his Starknife in retaliation, the thug moves just out of range to get a shot on his own target.

All of a sudden, the image of the insignia of Absalom Station appears near the centre of the room, along with a countdown and the words "Diffusion Protocol Engaged. Kill Team ETA 3 minutes and counting,"

Before the gang members can respond to this new situation, however, W-12 lets off two shots at the gang member he shot before. His first shot manages to hit its mark, and the gang member drops to the ground unconscious, another shot comes out from him that misses the gang member.

The attack misses, otherwise I would have let you change the target for the second attack.

After missing with his first strike, Miles makes another two swings with his star knife on the one that killed Kreel. The first attack isn't able to penetrate the thug's body armour, but the second attack hits the gang as it draws some blood. There is no doubt that he is now fully aware of the new threat.

The gang all notice the new stimuli and realise that it's only a matter of time before guards arrive, so they all start to flee, taking the Withdraw action to do so (this includes the one that Miles is in melee combat with). One of them, however, sees through the illusion, but noticing that he is left alone, slowly backs away as they all leave the docking area, leaving the docking bay free from fire, but the lingering smell of ozone that remains can still be smelt. There are a few casualties, and of course the dead body of Duraver Kreel laying in the middle of the docking bay.

That is your first encounter dealt with. I'm going to be using a mixture of exp and milestone-style levelling - so if your not at a certain level by a point I'll make a comment to say to level up to the next level when we get there, but for those that want to track experience, you will each gain 120 exp from this encounter. We are now also out of combat.

As the last gang member leaves, Station Security arrives after the fight has finished, too late to join. The Security personnel begin questioning witnesses but aren't starting with the five of you, you have a few minutes before they approach you to decide what you want to do.

As Atrios begins providing covering fire for Miles, Miles gets ready to take off running to his target. As he continues running, W-12 begins shooting on the other side, unfortunately, unable to get a hit on the gang member they were targetting.

Miles then runs up to the north-east, heading towards the person that shot Kreel and gets most of the way towards the one that killed as his Starknife appears in his hand.

Another round of shots go off, one hitting Miles as he runs past, and the rest hitting either their target or missing due to the cover provided by the crates in the area.

Netharan opens fire towards the gang member closest to him as he himself also dives for cover in this sudden gunfight that has started in the docking bay, but unfortunately, the laser hits against one of the crates, missing his target.

Based on all of your posts, this is where I've got you all at the moment, let me know in your next post if that isn't where you wanted to be. Miles, feel free to make your opportunity attack and I'll sort that out first before everything else on the next round summary post - the gang members are going to be doing the same as before.

That's the surprise round over, so now we are entering combat, everyone can post their actions and then I'll summarize - the gang members are going to continue shooting at each other, but there is a 1 in 6 chance that each of you might get caught in the crossfire

As you continue, the hagfish food tournament comes to a close, and the taverns all provide the needed sustenance you need.

The rest of the day goes by with children continuing to chase the released Swallowtail butterflies until the evening when everybody once again gathers at the square in front of the cathedral.

There is a sharp retort, like the crack of distant thunder, that slices through the excited crowd as the sun's setting rays paint the western sky.

A stray dog that has crawled under a nearby wagon to sleep starts awake at the noise, and the buzz of two dozen or more conversations quickly hushes as all heads turn toward the central podium, where a beaming Father Zantus has taken the stage.

He clears his throat, takes a breath to speak, and before he can get the first word out, a woman's scream slices through the air. After a few moments, there's another scream. And then another. Behind them, you start hearing a sudden surge of strange new voices - high-pitched, tittering shrieks that sound not quite human.

You see the crowd parting for something small that is low to the ground as it races by, giggling with disturbing glee as the stray dog that was under the wagon gives a pained yelp and then collapses with a gurgle, its throat cut open from ear to ear. As blood pools around its head, the raucous sound of a strange song begins, chanted from shrill, scratchy voices.

Standing in the middle of the docking bay, you all see a dwarven figure who after looking down at a datapad and waves in greeting to the group of you. However, W-12, Netharan and Atrius all notice that there are two groups of people furtively getting into cover and defensive positions around some crates and machinery.

Kreel is rather tall and lanky for a dwarf, his beard is a bristly iron-grey and beneath two very bushy eyebrows, he has deep-set eyes. His coveralls are patched and stained, but he is singled out from the dockworkers by his badge that displays the Starfinder Society symbol. He gives you a warm smile as he greets you.

Before you get the chance to do anything or respond, the air is filled with the sound and sights of laser blasts, as the two groups that W-12, Netharan and Atrius noticed open fire on each other. Bystander's and dockworkers flee and scream in terror, and Kreel being effectively surrounded is paralyzed in the situation. Before you know it, one of the shots fired from the northeast catches Kreel in the crossfire, who gets hit with a fatal wound to the head. There is plenty nearby to get into cover.

We're now entering combat. Tetch and Miles did not notice the gangs approach and are surprised. I'll still get an initiative roll from you though and that will come into effect on the next round.
For everyone else: Roll Initiative, and then your first move. To help with this, the two gangs are going to fire on each other with a chance of catching you in the crossfire.

Initiative for gang members: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

The Okimoro gets clearance from the Station, and you watch as you enter the large docking bay. It takes a few moments for the shuttle to land in one of the many starlike arms that encircle Absalom Station's equator. After a few minutes, the docking procedure is complete.

"Welcome to Absalom Station, please ensure to take all your belongings," says the pilot/captain of the shuttle.

You all filter out of the shuttle onto the docking bay floor.

The docks are brightly lit and are currently abuzz with activity with travellers passing by, preparing to board or disembarking from starships bound to or from any of dozens of worlds. You see brash and swaggering starpilots, scurrying ysoki mechanics, and expectant colonists all mingling together with kasatha mystics, hard-faced asteroid miners, imposing vesk mercenaries and more. It provides a microcosm of the abundance and variety of life within the Pact Worlds. New arrivals are meeting with friends, loved ones or some even meeting for business purposes, and are whisked away into the humming activity of daily life on the vast space station. Beyond these groups, you can spot ground crews tending to the docked ships, and dockworkers in mechanized cargo lifters loading and unloading freight and baggage. There's a sharp tang of ozone that hangs in the air - a byproduct of electrical discharges from the docked ships - but underneath that smell, the station has a sightly used aroma. As you stand on the deck, the plates thrum beneath your feet, though whether it's from the passage of innumerable feet or the vibrations of the station's power conduits and air recycling systems is impossible to say.

the doc is fine, I know you can put some stats into the paizo website on the character profile as well, that's a choice also - but Miles has a good way of doing it :)

Luckily it will still be a little while before we get down to starship combat, so there's still time to think about it :)

I've posted up the first gameplay thread, as mentioned - here is an opportunity to introduce your characters a little bit before things kick off.

Part 1: Incident at Absalom Station

You are all currently on board the passenger shuttle Okimoro, bound for Absalom Station. Some of you may have been returning from visiting family, or a contract that was given by one of the businesses on the station, and some of you are arriving for the first time. You have all been told to meet with a Duravor Kreel, a dwarven member of the Starfinder society, on Absalom station.

The shuttle itself is comfortable, for a shuttle. You can still see out of the front viewscreen and the pilot and very small crew of the shuttle, and you see one of the crew open a communication channel with the station. "This is Reed of the Shuttle Okimoro, requesting permission to dock at Absalom station."

A few moments pass before a voice comes through "Okimoro this is Absalom Station control, you're clear for docking at bay 94."

Over the journey, you have all discovered you are here to see the same person and have an opportunity to get to know each other a little more before the shuttle docks.

Oooofff, that hurts - I would allow a reroll on that... really low one. Feel free to press the reroll button on that one :)

Last day for people to get their applications in, will be picking the players tomorrow. Been some great characters so far :)

Both Grulyn and the dwarf are able to keep the food down, though the dwarf seemed to struggle more. Within moments, another silver platter is bought to the table. This time, when the lid is lifted, sitting there is what looks like some fleshy, long dollop of meat, that has been well done. The announcer steps up and says "For round two of the competition, we've got some... delicious..." he says with trepidation "Giant Tongue! Meanwhile, Anomander is inspecting the container containing the pies. He is pretty sure there are 27 pies in the jar, based on the size of the jar and how many he can see.

Brydan and Masdok are still at the test-o'-strength, looking angrily at the pad and hammer, and Masdok gives it another attempt. The man running the stall says "It's free - and nobody is waiting, so of course you can have another go. Good luck."

This time Brydan takes the hammer and manages to make the device hit the bell at the top of the pole. Brydan steps up and also manages to hit the bell also. When Masdok approaches the third time, however - he is unable to get the same purchase he had before.

A space goblin would be interesting :) I'm open to it, as long as you can explain why he would be interested in joining the starfinder society ;)

Masdok takes a swing with the hammer provided, and a small wooden ball that was resting on the button raises up about a quarter of the way up the long pole it is connected to.

(OOC: For the roll for this, you can either roll a profession (Baker or cook) check if you are proficient, being able to use the measurements of what you see by knowing the way the pies were made, a knowledge (local) check to know the information on how the pies are made and their sizing requirements, which will enable you to work out the number of pies able to fit in the space, or a straight perception check if you are proficient in neither of those.)

Kreel has promised to show you around the station, help you get settled and facilitate your membership into the society once you arrive.

(Howdi people, been wanting to run Starfinder for a while and thought PbP would be the best way to get into it as a GM. I've run D&D, Star Trek, played Vampire, and am currently running a PbP here for Pathfinder as well - but I like space stuff, so don't mind running this as well.

As you all make your way to the square, the crowd begins to gather. The numbers for the opening speeches being made this morning is quite respectable. As the crowd gathers, the mayor of the city - Mayor Deverin, a female human with short brown hair, steps onto the temporary stage set-up. A nearby bard casts a spell which makes it so that the mayor is audible to the gathered crowd.

"To those who are visiting us on this fine day, welcome to Sandpoint. To those that pass their time here, it's good to see you here on this wonderful occasion. We hope that these celebrations will bring great cheer to everyone here. In fact, our local tanner, Larz, even managed to pull himself away from the tanning bench to join us. A rare sight indeed!" he said with a smile. It garnered a chuckle from most of the locals in the crowd, except for the tanner that goes red from embarrassment.

"I don't want to hold up the celebration too long, so I'll invite the Sherrif up to say a few words on the housekeeping of the festival," she finishes as another human steps up to the stage.

Those from Sandpoint would recognise this as Sheriff Belor Hemlock, and he has a serious look on his face. "OK, remember not to overdo the drink, it may be free, but you still need to look after yourselves. We will be having a bonfire this evening, so anyone that needs a reminder in fire safety make sure your at least 100 feet away when that begins. Now, remember why we are all gathered today. Five years ago, the fire killed some of our family, our closest friends. Let us all remember them with a moment of silence for those that lost their lives that day," he concluded his speech after bowing his head in silence, the rest of the crowd doing likewise, even though there are some yawns from those that want the festival to begin so they could get to the drinking and the eating.

After a couple of minutes, the Sheriff invited up the next guest "Now we have one of the people that has made this event possible with the funding he has given the town of Sandpoint. It only be fair he get the opportunity to say a few words, so Lonjiku, come on up."

A few moments pass, and nobody turns up. A halfling approaches with a piece of paper that the Sheriff quickly reads, before clearing his throat and speaking once more. "It appears Mr. Kaijitsu has been taken ill and is unable to join us,"

One of the locals in the crowd shout out "Surprise, Surprise, Lonjiku hates these things anyways, he was never going to come. You were stupid to get your hopes up."

"Now Now everyone," says a rather jovial sounding voice, as everyone turns their attention to the stage once more. The owner of the local theatre, Cyrdak Drokkus has taken the stage and says "before we begin the festivities, we should start by taking to heart what the sheriff said, we all know he can be a sour-puss sometimes, don't we sheriff" he says the last part in a cooey voice, to the amusement of the crowd.

"Remember how much we had to do to raise money for this new temple, 'ey? All the work that we all put in, all the donations we gave. It's finally paying off. And to celebrate this new success, I have an announcement!" he says, which brings the entire crowd to silence. This was what was being gossiped about during the last few days. Cyrdak was about to announce something that he had been teasing for some time.

"We are doing a run of The Harpy's Curse at the Sandpoint Theatre. And I can finally announce, that playing the lead role of Avisera the harpy queen will be played by the Magnimarian Diva herself, Allishanda! She was unable to reach Sandpoint in time for the festival, but she sends her deepest regards to the town and looks forward to entertaining you all. Just don't get too close to her while she's here." He says, which attracts amazement from the crowd. This would be the most famous actress the theatre had ever been able to hire, and some wondered how Cyrdak managed to persuade such an icon to work at such a small time theatre as his.

Finally, Father Zantus, the new leader of the temple here, steps up onto the stage. "We have heard great things from all our speakers, I want to thank you all for the joy it brings to see you as excited as I am to see this day finally arrive. With that, I declare that the Swallowtail Festival has officially begun! Enjoy yourselves, lunch will be free for all today, and don't forget to have a look around the town while your at it. We'll see you all this evening for the bonfire and fireworks display." The priest saus simply, and with that, the crowd begins to disperse around the city.

In the morning, there are multiple events being held, including sack races, games of hide-and-seek, weight-lifting challenges, balance beam contests, tug-of-war events, and a baking competition. There's also some ring-toss stalls, and various other fairground games.

The taverns aren't open just yet but are expected to open for lunch in about an hour, in the meantime, you have time to mingle and explore the town.

Came on to do that now, had to pop out for a bit earlier before I got the chance.

Now everyone is invited, welcome to the campaign. Posting in the gameplay thread should get you added on automatically. If you have any further questions before we start, then feel free to ask them here. Also, will give it three days for people to post their first post, if you don't post by then, I'll presume you have decided not to join and make a start without you.

And with that, the first thread is already up and ready to go for you to respond to, so introduce your characters, this is intended to be a brief moment before the start of the festival, but you guys will have the whole day to chat and stuff.

So, let's start telling a story :)

Caps, had a look after I posted and saw that - will probably be decided when I've made the group selection. I haven't posted it to Paizo as an organized play yet but will wait until tomorrow when I've made my group selection and see what everyone thinks about it.

Regarding the drow noble, I'm open to it if your backstory explains it well enough in the sense of what they are doing involved with the rest of the group, and why they would be interested in Varisia.

Due to homebrew rules being used, and the fact we'll be starting at level 1, this does not qualify for organized play credit.
