Sharlavaka tilted his head, clearly confused by Eshenvral's statement. There had rarely been any such indications from the Elf before. Rare, but they had been there. "Does not sound like Eshenvral. Should place query about concussion." The Vest paused. "That was a joke," he added to qualify.

Sharlavaka took no great pleasure in killing the Deathblade, or her compliment, but felt a grim satisfaction as the vessel crumbled. Such a weapon would terrify the Azlant. It wouldn't last forever, sadly. Wands weren't infinite. And the Azlant we, if nothing else, capable and tenacious - you couldn't forge a star-spanning Empire otherwise.

But for today, and the foreseeable today's in the future, the Azlant wouldn't be coming here. That ship had likely cost much more than this system was worth to the Azlant.

"Efficient," Sharlavaka agreed with Eshenvral.

Sharlavaka turned his blank helmet on the general and allowed it's soulless eyes to gaze into him. He had a strong dislike for people believing that species made such a difference, and unlike Eshenvral this Dward wasn't on the same crew. "Yes. Heroes."

Sharlavaka sighed. Now he was going to have kill the guard when they were done, so he didn't reveal the destruction of the ship was imminent.

"Should be enough time to re-arm." Sharlavaka had no idea how often the crew rotated guards, but 'not often' was probably accurate in a high tension situation like this. Still, the longer this ship flew the longer the fighting went on.

Mounting his cannon and testing the weapon, Sharlavaka suggested, "Guards likely stronger, tougher than guards on door were. Suggest opening salvo of grenades if anyone carries such. Cells should hold against shockwaves." They were cells, after all, and meant to be pretty tough for obvious reasons.

Starting at the equipment, Sharlavaka shrugged. "Not required." The pistols would serve others better, it was wiser to let the smarter team members monitor enemy comms and pass what he needed to others and his claws were far more lethal the knives.

Sharlavaka bound the held guard with titanium line and tossed him back into the guest room. It wasn't that merciful, given he planned to flash fry the ship with its own engines, but it was more of a chance than being dead would give him.

He waited for the others to salvage any gear they needed, but clearly intended to rake any more assailants in much the same way.

Sharlavaka was neither sublte nor gentle. These were the enemy. He had claws. There was no real question what would happen next. As the Vesk walked out of the room and the two guards turned to look claws shot out towards there throats...

Engines or weapons to destroy. Use power against it - block outtakes, trigger munitions, etc. Return to ship if possible."

It's...less than ideal. We have 4 kids all at home, which makes things a little chaotic, but we homeschooled all 4 before and still home school the younger 2. The fact their social lives have effectively ended is being countered a little with electronics, and the stuff they did out of the house has been replaced with D&D 5E (they're playing a Human Dual-Wilding Psychic Fighter, a Tabaxi Soul-Knife Rogue, a Half-Elf Pact of the Chain Warlock and a Dragonborn Two-Hander Rune Knight fighter) but, still. They're being great, but obviously are a bit frustrated. My son especially is heartbroken, as his exams have been cancelled and his grade will now be based on old work that doesn't represent what he can do now, and has worked for months on. He feels he's wasted a lot of time and effort.

My work is still open, but we're losing a few hours a week for cost-saving. Thankfully we recently sold off a division so the company has an additional 4 billion to weather this idiocy with, so it's not a case of redundancies will be coming to deal with this, and my personal finances are...robust, shall we say, with five-figure savings. But between this crap and the whole Brexit fiasco it's gonna be...rough for a lot of people.

Right now my biggest concern is food, but it seems generally unfounded (for now). Stupid stuff like toilet roll and cleaner has gone, but bar certain dried and canned foods supplies are easy to get. Hell, said foods are easy to find too if you go to the little corner shops.

Even toilet paper.

So yeah. Tired, and concerned, but weathering the situation as best we can. I'm in a 'high risk for infection' category because my job deals with international buisness peoples, but if I do get the bug the chances of it doing more than irritating me is slim.

Picking up a chair, Sharlavaka moved to near the door to the suite and started guarding it.

It helps that Sharlavaka can't be disarmed without being literally disarmed. But yeah, starting with murdering was partially to avoid being disarmed.

Unless ordered to do otherwise, Sharlavaka stood by and allowed them to disarm him. He didn't think it was a good idea, but he could still fight so long as they didn't take a hammer to his claws.

...Jon would suggest a pincer attack, using the built in weapons at the airlock to hold them and a second team to exit from somewhere else, move around and smoosh them.

"Prefer not to. But could detonate Exsillum." Blowing their own vessel would rip the guts out of that monster, that was for sure. But it was a last resort. Sharlavaka did not like the idea at all.

"IFF codes. If the ship wipes them or they are not suitable we will possibly get blown out of space." It wasn't a simple matter. Maybe in the chaos the Azlant captain, confident in his ship's overwhelming power might allow it, even without the right codes, but it was a risk.
