The Illusion of Choice is still a problem. Beyond the first few levels, the difference between a proficient and non-proficient action becomes painful.

That, and I really don't like how they broke up summoning (but that's just me).

Does your schedule allow you to game?

It should...just need to find some groups.

Also now that I have money to spend I may take second look into PF 2nd ed...I heard they are coming with interesting books.

Have you tried Mutants and Masterminds? I was a bit dubious of their using status effects or whatever instead of hit points but after trying it out I kind of like it. Obviously wouldn't work for something like Pathfinder and probably not for something really dark or gritty. But for good ol' super heroes fighting it out in the streets it works perfectly.

I haven't tried it yet...

But using status effects seems like a interesting idea

When adapting a setting from a different (but related) game, how much can the adaptor change and still call it the setting?

At what point does it change so much that it is really something completely new?
