Sunday sounds fine. I had a little time this morning to work on the crunch. Thanks!


Lemming again but I've changed the idea for what I want to play.... (and Selann was my previous attempt to play WotR. But I won't be re-skinning him)

My character will be a vanilla uRogue, ratfolk-tiefling. Not sure on a PrC but I can decide on that fairly soon. He will take the Exposed to Awfulness campaign trait because.... it's a fairly decent reason why the paladins of the area won't want to lock me up on sight, and a great reason why I want to by in Kenabres! If I ever get the chance I want to do something to stop demons from escaping into the world and hurting folks like I was hurt!

However, I am currently away from home and will not have time to complete my submission until shortly after I get home Sunday evening. I hope this doesn't rule me out but will understand if it does.

Selann disappears (Vanish) and checks the door beside him. If it will open he enters, hoping to get up to the bombers.... If locked he will try to open the lock and open the door.

Not sure how far I could get. Free move from Fred. Standard for casting Vanish. Plus normal move?

Selann agrees with Tristan. "Too many of us can't see in the darkness as well as the fiends. Although, I can cast a spell to let us see in the dark. I would have to use the mythic power to do it."

"Attacking at night would be a terrible idea. There are barricades and palisades set up to break up formations, and siege weapons that could target any group carrying light sources. There are also groups on the rooftops with planks and makeshift routes. They could fire down on any groups trying to make their way in the streets. Without aerial support they'd have no chance."

"I think our best choice would be to go to the citadel and take out the siege weapons. Then we capture the high ground and take out the groups of snipers on the rooftops. The army can stay here, providing a distraction for whatever enemy is watching."

Selann quickly 'strolls' around the corners and grins at the.... ghoul demon? "Of course we dare. Maybe you should have tried negotiations first. You might know something worth us letting you continue your existence. I doubt it, but now we'll never know!"

He quickly speaks the words of a spell and empowers it with Mythic strength. Two rays of fire blast into the creature.

[ooc]Using Mythic Trickster Surprise Strike with Scorching Ray. Target is considered flat footed but the spell says it is a touch attack. Not sure which counts? I add my tier to the attack, and it bypasses any DR that he has.

Selann casts a spell which causes a quick burst of light, damaging the undead.

If the door is open casting it just inside to catch all five. If not, hitting the door to catch the two. Reflex save DC14. Fail means blind for 1d4 ⇒ 4 rounds, Save means dazzled for the same number of rounds. Regardless they take 5d4 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 2, 1) = 10 damage.

Sweeping through the cemetery they reach a point where going over the vaults is the quickest and easiest. Selann leads the charge, vaulting up and over. "This way!"

Selann points out the crystalline vein. "Cracking that would likely collapse this whole cave, killing everything in it. A blast of sonic energy or a really powerful strike will shatter it. With his mythic enhancement to speed, and the wand of Longstrider, his speed is 70'. He can cast the shatter spell with a mythic point for 8d6 of damage to the crystal. Then Vanish and run....

Or I could use Expeditious Retreat and my speed would be 90'. Doesn't stack with Longstrider. But the Mythic Impossible speed isn't typed.

Sorry for my absence, but posting is nearly impossible for me now. I'm in intensive care at the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Wake Med. Got an infection in my leg that turned into necrotizing fasciitis, or something like that. They've had to remove several pounds of skin and such, making my leg look like something from a horror show.

I will be back and would love to continue this game if possible, but will likely offline for an unknown period, possible 4-6 weeks.
