We are team Rock and Roll! The Monstars! I say press the fight and chase them outside! Spot! Kill! While pointing at the man giving orders. I presume the well-equipped leader. Attack Spot: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 Damage Spot: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Schub also attacks the same target with his bow. Let’s show them we mean business! Attack Schub: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 Damage Schub: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Attack/Damage +1 if leader is within 30 feet. Not much luck rolling the dice so far.....
Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 Kill! Schub says to Spot while pointing at the group of bandits. Spot runs towards the first bandit and bites down on his leg. Attack Spot: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 Damage Spot: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Moving quickly past Thrick Schub grabs his bow and lets an arrow fly towards another bandit. Attack Schub: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 Damage Schub: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
I say attack at night, we see better in the dark then our opponents. I would have liked to use some of the trails we found to take out some patrols so the lodge won’t get any reinforcements during our attack. If no one agrees we should let Beads take out the sentry and we go on in the middle of the night, hopefully surprising some in their sleep.
I thought just Beads had to sneak, but I’ll join in the fun anyways. @GM Did you see my questions? Is the noble lady hurt? Who is the elder one you speak off? How many fairies, goblins and humans are there? Are there traps and who is the half-orc girl. Looking a bit exhausted from firing all those questions at once, Schub looks at the sprite for answers. Suddenly his eyes light up. Before I forget, which trail did the noble lady take? While pointing at the 4 sets of tracks leaving from here. Sneak: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23
Slowly following Beads, ignoring branches but stepping on a twig. Damn, have to be more careful!

Let’s keep on going while the trail is still fresh. Schub says while already scanning the area for tracks. Perception Schub: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Perception Spot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20 Survival Schub: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 Survival Spot: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 The sprites that got away will come back with reinforcements. Let’s keep on moving.
Will Schub: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 Will Spot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14 @GM I'm in RL playing pathfinder tonight, don't know if I can post, so here is my next action. Opening her eyes after the flashing light Spot sees the gift wrapped sprite in front of her and goes all out. Attack Spot Bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 Damage Spot Bite: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
@GM:
Can Spot use her rake attack on the sprite, it’s entangled on the ground? If so Attack Spot Claw: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 Damage Spot Claw: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Attack Spot Claw: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Damage Spot Claw: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 The flashing lights have no effect on Schub and he fires an arrow at the ‘Atomie’ sprite. Draconic:
Are you hurt Jarx, I can heal ya! Attack Schub: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 Damage Schub: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Surprised at the appearance of the aggressive sprites Schub quickly recovers, not affected by the cold. Sending Spot at the sprite near Jarx, Schub shoots at the sprite that attacked him. Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 Spot jumps at the flying sprite and tries to bite it. Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Knowledge Nature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 to understand more about the creatures attacking.
Seeing everyone cluttered around one of the overturned carriages Schub, actually Spot tries with the help of Schub to pick up the scent of the group of bandits who rode southeast. Assist Survival Schub: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 Survival Spot: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 What or who did you guys find in that carriage?
After leaving the city Schub warns his traveling companions a friend will be joining them soon. Taking the point Schub whistles an unknown tune and a small white leopard appears, looking a bit apprehensive at the group, it walk towards the group and takes her place beside Schub. This is my friend Spot. She will be traveling with us. We will take the second watch. @GM_Solspiral I’ll take a greatsword.
Do you get a cut from resources and or treasures we find? Are we free to deal with any occurring problems we see fit or do we have to live by a set of rules, a code of conduct? And is your funding/support given openly, are we to discuss this expedition or use our name as leverage or is this a covert thing? Schub says while stuffing some food items in his mouth he took from the dinner table to the separate meeting.
With the name card pinned to his chest Schub sits down at the table. Looking around the table Schub is amazed at the diversity of his table companions, Jarx, Thrick, Sahisysha, Liam and a spider. Knowledge nature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 No offense Beads but I use knowledge nature, spiders are vermin. A grass spider, never seen one before, could be interesting. Seeing Jarx freak out at the sight of Beads Schub tries to calm him down. He only eats flies and mosquito’s, no taste for an old kobold like you.
Schub looked around, lot’s a different races, hobgoblin, human, orc. A little bit of everything. Let’s go see Jarx. Warmblood will find me, not many kobolds here, especially one as white as me. Just close enough to hear about the spider Schub slowly walks toward Jarx. Stealth: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16 Watch out Jarx, it’s a giant tarantula, it’s after your tail. Schub whispers in his ear. At the same time he gives Jarx his tail a soft kick. Who is woman with scales? Grabbing the woman’s hand he gives her a two-handed handshake. I’m Schub and you?
Uneasy. Schub felt uneasy. Don’t really like being indoors especially in one crowded as this one. Maybe he used to like it, couldn’t remember…..Looking around he didn’t know anyone besides Jarx and Thrick. Strange looking warmbloods. Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 Ah there is the food. Quick before Jarx eats it all. After grabbing some random food items Schub starts mingling, trying to pick up some news. Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
After a while Schub spots a warmblood holding a tray. Schub stands before him and looks up. You! He, you there with tray. Something I need. Small bag with meaty stuff to take with for friend.
Just like a normal tabletop group with real-life friends you make a group with all boxes checked. I just suggested to the GM that I could make a change to my character to better fill some voids in our group dynamics like for example healing and maybe one of the 2 vacant leadership roles. With my backstory 'Amnesia' I can be anything. Like I said to him, I just want to (role)play and be a meaningful part of the group(s). If this means another class that would be no problem to me. I just wanted to know your opinion on this also. I like my current character the hunter, but I can play anything. Hope to hear from you guys through this thread or PM. |
