I'm going to have to drop the game. Ever time I think my energy levels are returning to a balanced state, my body informs me otherwise. While I have the time to play, I frequently find myself lacking the necessary focus. I wish you all the best of luck, and enjoy the campaign.
Will post later tonight. Just got off work and am running a live game for the first time tonight, with a group of 8 on top of that, so my mind is a bit full right now.
I have both a arcane duelist bard and a magus ready, depending on what Megan is willing to allow. The bard will focus on ranged, the magus would be a light front liner, using the quarterstaff as his weapon of choice.
Would you be willing to accept a magus, Megan? Fills the same role as the arcane duelist bard, but might fill the martial aspect a bit better.
If you make a witch, Sonya, I can make an arcane duelist bard that can also be on the front line.
I could put together some kind of bard; it's not a lot of arcane, but it's some.
Depending on how many more you need, I could put together a character as well. I am also from Megan's Legacy of Fire game.
Samuel waits quietly for the others to get down before silently activating his flight hex and comfortably floating down, deactivating it as he gently lands.
"I can get down easily enough. It might be a bit trickier for the rest of you unless one of you has some tricks I am unaware of." Samuel comments quietly as he picks up a pebble, casts light on it, and drops it down the shaft to get a gauge for it's depth.
Samuel follows cautiously, staying near the back of the group.
Samuel backs up to the last stair and waits quietly, ready for anything.
Samuel will follow behind the others quietly. He will cast detect magic and glance around the room focusing on the well and the gong. "Could they have set something up with the door that requires interaction with the other stuff in the room? The gong especially seems rather random."
Samuel has little need for further goods, relying as he does mostly on his magic. He will go visit Kardswann with any others who choose to do so to keep in an eye on the proceedings and help ensure that nothing amiss occurs.
I'll get a post up by sometime tonight. I enjoy my new job, but it's taking a lot of energy out of me as I get used to a completely different schedule.
Samuel watches the scene quietly for some time before speaking. "While I highly doubt that Kardswann is a saint to be held up as an positive example for all to see, it is clear that he is not the true source of the recent troubles. Something else is at play here, and killing Kardswann before we know precisely what that something is could be problematic. I would at the very least advice holding off any decision regarding his ultimate fate until we search the chamber below the town. We may find questions down there that require answers from him."

Samuel will look for a good place to establish an outpost for the Pathfinder's Society while he waits for Lady Almah to arrive.
I'm back in an apartment with internet access. Hopefully the instability of the last few months is finally over, and I can get settled into a routine after I get the rest of my stuff moved in next week.
Feel free to npc Samuel as needed for the next couple of weeks. My work situation is finally achieving some stability, but my housing situation is going to take a few more weeks and a good solid paycheck to settle down, with internet access being spotty.
After the dust settles, Samuel checks to make sure that the rest of the party is fully healed, and seeing that Silena has the situation under control, wanders around the battlemarket a bit before leaving a finding a quiet spot somewhere in town to commune with Spike, asking to be notified of when Lady Almah arrives.
Samuel is leveled up.

I will look at leveling tomorrow. I have been trying to move the last week, so access to and time for internet has been spotty.
Samuel breathes a quiet sigh of relief as the battle ends, relieved that Silena had showed a deeper understanding of tactics than he had previously seen. Without waiting to see the crowd's response, he looks for the bar to order some light drinks for himself and the party.
Seeing that he has at least some time to work with, Samuel casts enlarge person into Spike and sends Spike off to deliver it to Hijiro.
Seeing the probability of more direct action being necessary soon, Samuel casts mage armor on himself as he moves towards the stairs to the second floor.
Not being much of a combatant himself, Samuel works to secure the current attitude of the crowd while shedding light on the darkest corners of the bazaar. 4 multi-colored spheres of lights appear about 10 feet over the heads of the combatants (casting dancing lights) as the vipers move in to finish the job quickly so as to get away from the leopard.
As the combatants come crashing down from the balcony, Samuel takes that as his cue, and summons forth 3 fiendish vipers to engage with Kardswann.
Once he finds a good defensive place to watch the ensuing chaos from, Samuel prepares to cast Summon Monster II and call forth fiendish vipers as soon as the fight breaks out in an effort to create as much confusion as possible.
Samuel warily moves slightly away from the door, looking for a good empty alcove or space in the wall to back into and fight from should things get ugly.
Samuel, never one to be overly religious, warily starts moving around the battle market, seeing who and what is around, while keeping an eye on the conversation, watchful for the probable combat that is coming.
Samuel waits and watches quietly, prepared to cast a spell to boost the fighter's capability if necessary before things get too out of control.
Just be ready for a hard, long, drawn out fight where the casters are going to be of limited help or getting hit by a swarm of minions all at once. I understand the desire to get right into it, but the big boss is 3 floors up and there's several floors of minions between us and the boss. I've seen this combat before; I won't object to starting it now, just be ready for a mess by doing so.
Samuel shrugs as he cautiously enters the room, though he stops as soon as he enters the central chamber to look around before doing anything further.
Samuel enters quietly, also preferring to look wary rather than combative.
"I still think charging in with weapons drawn is a very bad idea. Inviting battle before it is required will make it much more difficult." Samuel follows quietly, resigned to a running battle that will quickly tax his limited resources.
"I would suggest not assaulting at all. It's a market as much as a fortress. We go in as mercs looking for work and gear and recon the place before committing ourselves to battle. Let's us save our spells and reduces the risk to any innocents that may be in here against their will."
"That or they are all gathered together. That battle market is a pretty big building, and could easily hold a good sized group."
Samuel finds a protected place along the wall close to the door and keeps on eye on the surrounding area while others check out the building.
"Wise words to reflect on as we continue exploring. What places have not been examined yet?"
"Other than me not being a very good comedian, I don't know for sure. I often get groans, but rarely outbursts of pure anger. That subject seems to be a delicate one, that much is clear." Samuel pauses as he considers Sonya's words. "The demon worries me. We should finish up checking out the rest of the town and see where we stand for time before approaching the market. What all haven't you explored yet? And what do we know about the demon and the genie?"
"Still the same arguments I see. It's impressive how you can inspire the same reaction from different people; must be a carryover from your darker blood." A red haired elf chuckles quietly as the danger winds down. Several other new folks are behind him as well. "You move quickly; it appears that most of the town itself has been dealt with. Find anything interesting?"
Sonya was with the party briefly when he was as well, so she would at least remember his name.
It might be easiest to say that Samuel stayed at the temple of Nethys and on his way back to the group ran into the new folks, and they caught up just a bit ago without the rest of the party noticing until after dealing with the gnolls.
You haven't yet hit the main concentration of stuff then. I may need to reduce Samuel's overall gold to keep things in balance. That or reduce how much he gets when you do hit the jackpot.
Where are you in the story so far? This AP definitely gives out treasure in spurts, and you may well be in a down spot for that.
Samuel is ready. I bumped his gear up to 6k worth.
How far along is it at this point? And what level do I need to get Samuel up to?
