![]() Roshan nods, "Ah, I see." Shrugging slightly he adds, "When you live the kind of life we do, risk is to be expected. That's why I enjoy cooking for other people so much. It's the little moments like this, that make....it's a little hard to explain, but as long as there are times like this to share with other people, I'm okay with all the other stuff." Giving them a smile, he takes some bread and dips it in his stew. ![]()

![]() Once the meat is browned, Roshan cuts the lean cut of beef into bite sized pieces and tosses it in the pot along with some seasoning, and the vegetables that Sienna had cleaned and chopped up. Putting a lid on the pot, he leaves it to show Sienna how he makes the bread. In roughly an hour, dinner is ready. After setting a pitcher of lemonade and one of tea on the table, Roshan puts the bread and bowls of rich and aromatic stew on the table for everyone. After all the places have been set, Roshan calls everyone to come eat. He waits for everyone else to sit at the table before sitting down himself. ![]()

![]() Shrugging slightly he says, "I guess so, not that I mind. I mean...I like cooking, so I don't mind helping out. If you ever want me to step back and let you try to do more, I can. I just thought we'd make some stew and bread tonight since it's so cold out. Do you want to season and brown the meat, or handle the vegetables? Sorry....I guess I'm still getting used to having other people around. Usually I just eat rations, since it seems silly to cook for just myself." He says, unsure as to why he's talking so much. ![]()

![]() Roshan picks up his bag and heads through the door, "Thank you, I'll put my things up and get started on dinner. You can come help, if you'd like." He gives both women a smile and slight bow of his head as he enters the magnificent magical place, with the fully stocked kitchen. Going to one of the rooms, he puts his things down by the bed. Eventually he would have to cut his hair, but for now he twists it and puts it on top of his head, to keep it out of the way while cooking. Walking back out to the kitchen, he starts gathering what hed needs to make a nice filling stew, some naan bread, and a simple sweet bread for dessert. He thought everyone would rest better with a full belly, and the weather was perfect for it. He could go a little lighter for breakfast since they would be travelling, he thinks to himself as he gathers what he needs and waits to see if Sienna wanted to assist him. ![]()

![]() Roshan sets down his things and sits down, while he waits quietly and patiently for his companions to decide what they wanted to do. He had no problem roughing it, if that's what they wanted to do, and he could understand what Sienna meant by coming to rely on the use of magic too much. He would never ask the sorceress to do something she wasn't comfortable doing. ![]()

![]() Taking in the scenery and the drop in temperature Roshan decides to speak up, "It might be safer to stay here tonight, rather than get lost with all this stuff flying around everywhere." Looking over at Sienna he suggests, "If we don't want to take any chances on something sneaking up on us, or freezing to death, you could bring up that magic house of yours again....if you want to. I could make some hearty stew, and I think we would all benefit from a good night's rest and start out again first thing in the morning after breakfast?" Looking around at the group of formidable women he adds, "I mean..if that sounds good to the rest of you?" He was merely offering suggestions, he would do whatever the majority felt more comfortable with. ![]()

![]() I feel like I haven't slept in like a week, so I probably don't know what I'm saying. I can't remember stuff very well right now. Roshan kind of shrugs, "Sorry, just trying to understand why they would show up in just such small numbers and then just take off like that....but, I guess there's no need to really worry about it until it becomes an issue." I probably just need to go back to the whole, "No posting without any sleep" rule. It just leads to badness. ![]()

![]() Roshan shrugs, "Sure, I have a bag that can hold all that stuff. Better safe than sorry I guess." He says, going over to the equipment left behind and putting it in his bag. After collecting everything he walks back over to the door, "Alright, that takes care of that. I'm ready to go whenever you guys are." ![]()

![]() Roshan looks at Cyna, "I'm grateful for that at least, but next time I'll be more careful. If I had been more careful and checked for magic first, that probably wouldn't have happened." He sort of shrugs, "It wasn't fatal this time at least, and I've been through worse than that and survived.....barely. This just served as a reminder not tyo rush into things, and now I'm really curious to see what's in here and find out just what was so important." He says with a nod towards Sādhanā as he holds out the scroll case towards them. ![]()

![]() Though he tries to hide it, it's obvious that Roshan was hurt more than he let on. Letting out a slight groan as the water hits his singed face, Roshan utters a spell and touches his hand to his face to try and heal some of the damage. It was a foolish mistake not to check for magic properties before getting that close to it, but at least he was the only one hurt. Cure Mod: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (8, 3) + 10 = 21 Roshan lets out a sigh of relief as the spell heals most of the damage from the blast. ![]()

![]() Roshan tries to cover the look of shock on his face as he starts to rise in the air towards the window, "Uhh...thanks Ms. Sienna. I think I can get to it now." Roshan concentrates on where he needs to go, and then checks it and thed surrounding area for traps. Perception of traps: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (10) + 27 = 37 ![]()

![]() Roshan nods and then blushes, "I...I just...I need a boost to get at it, if you don't mind? It's just, I don't really have a way to get up to it on my own." He says, sounding embarrassed that he actually has to be lifted up by a woman that was practically a stranger to him, so that he could look over it for traps. ![]()

![]() Considering everything the other team had to fight to get to this point, and the fact that what was hidden is so important that they had a powerful undead guarding it....Roshan has second thoughts about the magus investigating it byh herself. Holding up a hand he calls out to the magus, "Ms. Sadhana, wait. Obviously this item is of great importance if it was so heavily guarded. I'm concerned that it might be trapped as well. Is there a way you could get me up there so I could check it for you first? If it is trapped, I might be able to disable it without causing youj harm." He says, hoping to keep thed magus from doing anything too hasty. ![]()

![]() Roshan just stands there and watches in amazement as it seems as though there is almost nothing these women can't do. He had worked with various people before, but he had never seen a team work so cohesively as this one. Hearing the stories was one thing, but seeing them in action was quite another. Not really knowing what else to do, Roshan looks around the area they were in. If that guy was a guardian, he had to be guarding something. Perception: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (14) + 22 = 36 ![]()

![]() Roshan's jaw drops, "Uhhh...wow...okay then. Sooo...we just have to decapitate it now and pour some holy water on it right? Sooo....is there anyone that can make some? I just...I wasn't prepared for...well, anyh of that really." He says, feeling a little disappointed that he wasn't more help. Did they even really need him there? They seemed more than capable of taking down evil on their own. Was he contributing anything at all? Roshan shakes his head to try and clear it, while he waits to see what they needed to do about the undead thing on the floor with Cyna's many arrows sticking out of it. ![]()

![]() Since I haven't really done anything yet this round, I'm just gonna try to blind him I guess? Roshan decides to try and do something. Weaving his hands in an intricate pattern, Roshan chants the words to a spell as he tries tuo help his companions. Gonna try to cast blindness. I think the dc is a 17 to save against it? ![]() I'm really sorry, I just don't know what else I can possibly do that won't get me instant death. I'm not mythic like the rest of you, but I could try one of my spells to blind or enthrall it...though since it basically just shrugged off a mythic fire ball, I really don't see that happening.
