Male Dwarf Druid 1
Rhoh will hope take it slow, this time making sure his shield is attached to his left arm, scimitar drawn, making his way down slowly between Ratchet and Cru (slow option, -5 on acrobatics with shield, and after that last debacle i'm not putting it away :P)

fort save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Ratchet did tie a second rope about my waist, so my rope should still be there. Am i allowed put my two cents in, being unconscious? also, on my turn do I get another chance to stabilize or did you roll that for me? am I at -3 or am I stable at -2? or does being hauled up by the waist mean that I automatically fail stabilization rolls? :P

So someone has to give me a hand by making an aid another check (which just has a DC of 10 to give me a +2 bonus on my own check)
Male Dwarf Druid 1
right...uh..ahem...Well even once I put this 'ere shield away I'm still not much of a climber...anyone care to maybe give me an 'and?

Rhoh guffaws heartily

sure thing :) I wouldn't take that as a jerk-ish comment even if you hadn't qualified it. This is my first play by post (well...i started three at the same time) So I am not offended, I appreciate it! :) Wareagle, is everythin ok? haven't heard from you in a few days? I'm not tryin to be pushy or anything! Just noticed that it was more than one post a day to no posts in two days

idunno... i made a dungeoneering roll I hate to bring up. In the event that knot tying falls under the domain of survival that'd be fine by me :p Survival 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 I think we're hoping to tie our own rope to the pillar, securely, and hopefully with some sort of safer system than a knotted rope going down (i might be hoping that if i tie really clever knots they'll convey some kind of circumstance bonus on climb checks to not fall...or even make it impossible to fall! :D). if that's not possible then ok of course. we'll just have to man up and climb down the old fashioned way. Wow! look at that...I'm SO staying alive right now.

would knowledge dungeoneering allow for some splunkering knots? I'm under the impression there's a knot that might secure us to our plumbline, and allow us to lower ourselves slowly (similar to rappelling), possibly using the wall as a guide, but keeping the majority of our weight on the line? i dont even know if that's necessary
Rhoh gets on his belly several feet from the edge and crawls on his belly to the edgeof the ravine to peer down

Ah! well! down it is!

Ah really think tha' we should geh as many as w' can buh it's up tae you mate. I'm hardly worried abou' m' gold if it'll keep one o' yes alive!

Rhoh quickly pulls Cruoar down awkwardly again
Male Dwarf Druid 1
rhoh looks up and examines each. Which of these might be a wand of cure light wounds? Used? New? Price? Y'know the drill mate, we're off tae explore an' we're not sure when we'll be back. We're not sure IF we'll be back unless we can procure some proper healing. I've some minor magical skill an' quite a bit o' more mundane know how, but there's nothin' like a wand in a pinch. Rhoh tugs on Cru's sleeve and mutters to him quietly that if they're new one of them may need to run back to the others and see what kind of coin we can scrape up as Rhoh only has a tad over 60, and the wand could cost well over ten times that. It might be that we can't afford it. Might be we can get it on credit but it's unlikely.

Wareagle: I had a quick question: based on my character background (generally focused on the more earth/stone aspect of the druid) would you consider allowing knowledge (dungeoneering) to replace knowledge (nature) for me? Dungeoneering covers splunking, divining depth and slope, and generally things that I think my character would be good at. He rarely goes to the surface, prefering exploring caves, so knowledge about surface plants and animals seems a bit out of character.
