Crouching down, Rand Paul's a slip of paper from the man's boots taking a moment to read it for folding it back up and sticking it into a pocket in her belt and turning to climb back up the rope.
Looking down into the hole, Rhiann nods. "Yeah, that's definitely not the place for a polearm. But I've got a hand axe, and a warhammer so if there's anything down there I'll be ready." she says with a confident grin, setting her primary weapon down and setting herself up to descend the rope.

Rhiann smiles. "Nothing to be sorry about, we've all got something that gives us the creeps." she says, returning the hug before her attention turns back to the yawning opening.
"See, didn't get to lay a claw on you!" Rhiann says over her shoulder, flashing Yuki a grin. Raising the trap door entrance with the butt of her fauchard, Rhiann looks down into the darkness. "It's a bit of a risk, but if it dragged prey down there, there's a chance there might be something of use or value in its lair."
Shifting her body to draw her fauchard from across her back while maintaining a protective position, Rhiann spins her blade over her head, bringing it down in a falling strike at the fearsome spider.
It plays out better organically this way rather than trying to go back and retroactively decide she'd bought a weapon, IMO. No adventurer's perfect! And sure Dare, assume you got the potions you wanted.
Makes sense. Sounds like we need to get you a ranged weapon.
As Yuki grabs hold of her, hiding behind her, Rhiann looks up in surprise. "Don't worry, I've got you!"

Rhiann is also thoroughly entertained by Yuki's performance, finding herself able to relax, a rare occurrence since they'd first arrived at Oleg's. With the progress they'd made and the additional support, she looks forward to seeing their efforts here expand into something promising.

Rhiann is both delighted by the reward for managing to forge an alliance with the Sootscales, and Svetlana's joy at them finding her ring. Though there would undoubtedly be more bandits to deal with, they'd managed to make a good start. With their newest companions joining the charter, and the support of Kesten and his men, they had the beginnings of something they could build into a decent settlement. Now for some good food, a comfortable night's sleep, and they could decide on what to do next. There was much to be explored and mapped, as well as those notices, on Oleg's billboard.
I like the idea of using the store credit for group items, sort of a party fund, or to draw from if something necessary goes over what someone can actually afford.

"Well then, we'd be happy to do business with you, Bokken." Rhiann says as they settle in to purchase what they need. "Do you find yourself needing anything out here?"
"We're trying to take care of that." Rhiann sasy with a warm smile.
"He could definitely be an asset to have as a friendly." Rhian replies quietly. "Hello there, Bokken is it? We're exploring, getting the lay of the land, but we'd be interested in seeing what you have available." she calls out approaching slowly enough to seem non-threatening.
Feel better Erik! Dare, Yuki, let me know when you've recorded the wand and boots on your sheets, and I'll remove them from the loot list.
"Sure! More fire in the faces of people trying to kill us is always a good thing" Rhiann says with a chuckle. "Hmm... the ring is pretty...shiny...might even be real silver, though I can't be sure." she muses, looking at the piece of jewelry appreciatively."Worth maybe 30 gold."she says with a shrug.
"Only thing I have that could be used for digging is a pot. We can make do with what we can improvise, otherwise we'll have to mark it on the map and come back once we get hold of a shovel or something similar." Rhiann replies after taking a quick inventory of her gear.
Rhiann's fauchard is off her back and in her hands well before the bloated corpse is close enough to speak. When he does, and Dare explains the revenant's identity, her posture eases a bit, though her expression darkens. "I'm sorry for what the Stag Lord did to you, another in a litany to things he and his people will pay for." She nods as Dare questions the undead. "If proof of his death will give you rest, we will gladly provide it once it is done." she says, passing a glance at Adela with a shrug, questioning the likely expert on the realm of death and such matters.
"True. That would explain the bell to call for the ferryman," Rhiann replies, studying the rope and the posts it is attached to.
I'm all for exploring, and we can definitely see if we can retrieve the chest on the way back. If Dare or Yuki have rope with them we might have enough now.
Rhiann enjoys the celebration, taking advantage of the opportunity to try new food and drink, trusting in her inherent hearty constitution to withstand any unusual effects. In the morning, after they've said their farewells, she considers their options, agreeing with Erik's assessment. "Sounds like a plan. We can get more mapped and explored, and get a better idea of what we have access to in our immediate area. Besides, mapping the area is as big a part of our mandate as getting rid of badtis is."
"Yeah, maybe unload this stuff...see if this ring is the one Svetlana had taken by bandits before we first arrived, thin figure out what we want to do next." Rhiann says, as they finish packing everything up and prepare to leave the kobolds to settling the tribe's affairs not that they were free of the evil shaman.

Updated the loot sheet. Erik, let me know when you've added that batch of 80 arrows to your inventory and I'll delete it from the loot sheet. Anyone want to claim any of the existing potions?
"Agreed, greatest need or can make the best use of it. We all benefit from anything that makes one of us better at what we do." Rhiann adds. "Anything we can't make use of we can sell to Oleg and split the proceeds."
You can always try using them to determine what happens. Things like potions can be identified with the sip test method, and craft alchemy can be used for alchemical items. Leveling and adding a point in the appropriate skill would give you a recheck, and I'm sure we come across the occasion arcane or divine caster who might be willing to identify things for a fee or a favor. It fits with the remote Outpost feel of Kingmaker but some things that tend to be standard run of the mill City campaign might require some outside the box thinking.
"We couldn't ask for better allies to our community, than the noble Sootscale Tribe!" Rhiann adds, unsure of what Adela had said, but guessing that like Yuki, it was meant to be complimentary.
Rhiann watches as the Chief delivers the final blow, reclaiming leadership of his tribe. "Well struck, Chief! The Sootscale tribe is free of his evil!"
As Tartuk begins casting a spell, Rhiann takes the opportunity to strike, her weapon lashing out with deft precision.
Rhiann watches closely, waiting to prevent the manipulative shaman from casting another spell.
Rhiann quietly shifts her position to be within range to strike with her fauchard, should the shaman make any attempt to attack Dare or the kobold Chieftain.
"Sounds like your shaman is faking his power to manipulate the tribe, and probably take power." Rhian says to both Mimek and Chief Sootscale .
