Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Saving children. There were more interesting ways to waste your time. These over zealous druid however were a threat, especially with a portal to Sigil in this very building. "Is there another option? I think these druids are a threat to all and should be ended."

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

That doesn't change the fact that the evil one being the least violent so far is rather odd.

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Quite funny, that it's the evil one that doesn't immediately start butchering people.

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Ralani's stomach turns as she hears the thoughts of these supposed druids, "They are nihilists seeking to destroy all natural life. Pitiful." She'd like to get her hands on one of them, alive, and bring him back to her lab, she'd extract all his vile secrets from his flesh. Sadly they didn't have time for that.

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Ralani hops down the hole though she isn't quite as graceful as she'd like to be.

These druids were senselessly butchering children, a ridiculous activity. What was there to gain beyond appeasing your own sense of duty towards some distant being supposedly worthy of worship? These beings seem strange though, not understanding the arbiter's words. She mumbled as both her left hands weaved a pattern in the air.

Cast Seek Thoughts, DC 19 Will negate. Looking for any thoughts regarding the killing of these children.

Ralani followed the modron and the canned man but keeps her distance. "You do know not everyone found but that supposed evil detection spell of yours is a monster and completely unreasonable? I say we talk. Perhaps after you fall in on them."

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

It was more an in game and in character excuse for my ooc delay

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Ralani came running after the other people, "Wasn't I clear? I needed an hour to prepare! Insolent wretches." The last part was more mumbled than spoken aloud.

Without waiting Ralani jumps into the water on the opposite side of the knife from the beast, her familiar secured in her tight fitting dress. The white homunculus was nowhere to be found and the pack it carried was now secured on Ralani's back. Being able to breath water just as easily as air Ralani makes her way to the portal.

Sorry for the silence, stuck between forgetting and not knowing what to post

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Ralani nodded, "Might as well start now, though I would like a chance to pack some things first. I will need an hour." The moment she stopped talking the homunculus landed and opened the bag it carried checking it's contents.

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Batty indeed is an appropriate name. Ralani's face shows a small smile, amused at herself. "My name is Ralani and yes, I'm willing to take part in this "excursion" of sorts."

Sudenly she realises the other probably want to know more about those with her, "The silent white one is Slick, but he can't talk. This here," She gently pats the well-groomed rat on her shoulder, "Is Lagor. Once again, he won't say much, but don't let that fool you."

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Ralani nods when Tippie Toe enters the room. "Yes, material plane monkeys tend to be that way." She then followed the others into the portal while making sure her homunculus would come along.

She had been here before, some time ago. Tippie Toe had wanted some information that she had recently retrieved for another client. The pay was good. The woman hadn't been here then though and Ralani paid very close attention to her.

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Oops, I forgot the saves for Ralani, her familiar and the homunculus.
Ralani:
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Familiar:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Homunculus:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
All have a +4, odd

As she walks up to the bodies Ralani is struck in the face by a last puff from one of the creatures. She wiped the pollen off her face with two hands while a third reached for the the bag carried by the homunculus that had followed her. She pulled a small notebook from inside as well as an inkpen and started to take notes.

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

With a simple wave of her hand Ralani sends the remaining monkeys after the fleeing plant people while she herself moves to investigate. "How quaint. I don't think I have ever seen anything like this before." Her voice sounds genuinely surprised, the first show of any emotion from her.

Taking 10 on Knowledge (Arcana) via Master Scholar for a 26 to see if she knows anything about these creatures.

I can already see Ralani will like Metalbeard. Anyone who sings/rhymes her praises is good in her book.

Initiative:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

"It's hardly a subject for banter." Ralani hardly even reacts to the woman beyond that. She starts mumbling until eventually a small horde of simian creatures take shape around the feet of the figure that "shot" his dagger.

Casting Mad Monkeys, targeting the ground around the guy that attacked

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Ralani sits on a stool at the bar, the floor was very much beneath her standing. Not even gonna try as I can't make that save

When the robed guys started moving she raised an eyebrow, enough of a signal for the flying creature on the table to bring her her bag. This would be messy, and not her kind of messy.

I'm sorry, but is that intimidate or initiative?

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

In comes a woman wearing a long, tight black dress that closes just below her bald head. Her skin is a deep blue, almost as black like her dress, and there are not two but four arms extending from her body. "Sid, be a dear and bring me the usual. Oh, and could you bring a tiny cup of that ox blood you had last time? I need to work on Logar's transformation." As she says that she pets the well groomed black rat sitting on her shoulder. Her voice is cold and smooth, clearly lacking any form of emotion.

Behind her a pearly white creature comes flying in carrying a bag. It's face is featureless except for two azure blue, almond shaped eyes. The four armed woman nods in the direction of one of the few empty tables and the creature moves there, setting the bag on the table and opening it's previously undetectable mouth, showing several rows of razor sharp porcelain teeth as if saying "reserved". The woman nods in approval before she turns to the bartender, "I heard the old Dragon is looking for some hired help. Anything that might interest me?"

The transformation is basically a preparation for next level. Will take Improved Familiar then and turn the rat into a Ratling.

Sheet is mostly done, only some odds and ends on equipment remain (mostly mundane stuff).

Just out of curiosity, I wonder how many people speak less languages than my familiar can understand.

Oh no, it's a personal assistant. It'll be the one that hands me my tools while I'm working, those kinds of things.

Who you be ok with it if Ralani already built a Homunculus/personal assistant?

I was more thinking along the line of spies and servants. Besides, I can't build one yet at level 6, I just want to know if you're ok with it before I invest in the feats.

Examples of things I'd like to make:
Spy

Servant

Working on the crunch. Settled on playing wizard.

How do you feel about creating constructs?

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Mularan had been listening intently to what had happened and only decided to step in when the man on the camel though it necessary to threaten this creature,"Now now, we are all sensible people, I think we can figure out a non-violent way of handling this. What do you say halfling. Give us the information we need and we'll be on our way, and down worry about the camel."

Mularan shakes his head. Silly people, will they never learn? Wisdom seemed to come from the reptile, a welcome sight as most of those were either lax or hotheaded, depending on the weather. He went silent and leaned on his staff as he awaited the answer of the constable.

Mularan tries to focus on where the sound came from, but it wasn't easy in the crowd.

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

What was that? A scream? Screams weren't odd in a place like this, but this one was different, desperate. Or more desperate than most. Without a doubt Mularan steps off the barge, puts his book away, and moves into the crowd. Where needed he uses his short staff to prod people to get them to move out of the way, giving them his best smile if they turned to face him.

I'm here

Ah, the sun. Both an Atran's greatest friend and greatest enemy. Get to little sun and you'll go cold, to much and just might dry out. Luckily Kaledun was a humid place. To bad it also featured so much rot. Atrans always had to be on their guard there, somehow slavers thought they'd make good merchandise.

An Atran of undetermined age, as it's hard to see for any non Atran, stands on board. Leaning on his tail he looks to be reading a book while occasionally using his tongue to clean his entire head. For anyone who knows even the slightest about his species he's an oddity with his bright red skin as most of his kind are completely black. His body is clad in armor of what seems to be some kind of leather, though the source is hard to determine, while a simple stick is hanging from his belt. The pack hanging loosely over his shoulder looks like it's made of the same kind of leather as his armor. Those with a discerning eye could even see a shield closely strapped to the back of the bag, covered in the same kind of leather, so probably made of wood.

Female Vedalken Wizard (Void) 5 / Pathfinder Savant 1

Shouldn't be a problem
