Made some changes to my character sheet. I put my gear in the profile so I can more easily update the quantities of things.

Rael, feeling relieved that none of the Draconians chased him, turns. Drawing a dagger he moves back towards Moon-Dancer and the main melee. He tries to find a clear shot before hurling his dagger at the Draconian attacking Urgo

" Come on Rael, don't run, help your friends! " he mutters, trying to steel his nerve.

Move: Draw dagger and move back 30ft,
Bonus action: cunning action dash. Move 10 more feet. Or more I guess, if I can find somewhere where I can take a clear shot at a draconian.
Attack: Throw dagger!

Dagger throw vs (12 damage) : 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Piercing damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Disadvantage (if Draconian has cover? : 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Sneak attack damage (if he doesn't have cover): 2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10

As long as Urgo is adjacent to my target and I don't have disadvantage on the attack roll I get sneak attack damage.

Rael ties a rope off on a piece of vegetation or a rock (If possible) before crossing the fallen tree to the next bit of land.

if I make it to the other side ill tie the rope to something else to make it easier for everyone else.

I considered the two weapon fighting one and also the trap finding one but the stat bump was better I think.

Well I looked through all the feats in the phb but nothing seemed as good as +2 to Dex so that's what I took :)

Rael watches the two fights his head looking back and forth with indecision, his shortbow half drawn.

Then he sees the draconian fighting Urgo go down, he's half turned to go help Bel when he notices Urgo slumping in a spray of some liquid and he springs into action.

GM: I'm 120ft away from Urgo, right? It would take me two rounds to reach him? A third round to give him a healing potion?

Rael makes his way to the Smithy by a round about route, stealthily darting down alleyways and crossing the rooftops occasionally when he has to.

As he gets close he climbs up onto a nearby rooftop to look over the area for enemies and hopefully to watch his friends arrive.

After getting past the hobgoblin Rael dashes down the alley dodging around some crates and then turns a corner and leaps over a low fence and ducks low hoping the group will just run right by.

Move 30ft, then another Dash action to put some space between me and my pursuers for a total of 60ft this round.

Then cunning action to hide as a bonus action.

I'm guessing that this chase is an encounter and as such counts as a combat for the purposes of this:

City Streets: When not in combat you can find fast paths through any urban sprawl. Travel twice speed through cities (you can lead others as well.)

It's my Urchin feature.

Rael pokes his head up from behind the barrels checking that the coast is clear then he walks out.

" You should get clear with that " He says to Moondancer, pointing at the wrapped up staff. " I'll cause a distraction. Meet us at the smithy! "

Rael makes a few gestures, Chants a few arcane words and then waves a close copy of the wrapped staff above his head.

" Are you brutes looking for this? " he shouts at the hobgoblin and Draconians backs hoping to draw their attention. Then he dashes down a side alley he knows hoping to lead them away before finding a new hiding spot.

Action: Cast minor illusion to create the illusion of the staff. Spell Save DC: 12
Then as a bonus action I would like to use my rogue cunning action to Dash and then my regular move as well so I'm 60 ft away down a side alley.

Rael darts forward with the group but quickly spies a good hiding spot and darts behind some stacked barrels.

Rael draws his shortsword and circles around his unblinded assailant before stabbing at him and then quickly darting away.

My initiative will rise by three points to 13.

Ok casting Colour Spray on the guys who are behind us. So -1

I spin around drawing a dagger with my left hand while making arcane gestures with my right, with a final flourish I throw some coloured powder and a burst of scintillating light envelopes some of the hobgoblins who are circling behind us.

So, it's a 15ft cone which I'll try to position to catch as many as I can without hitting any of my allies. I roll 6d10 and that's how many hp of creatures I can affect. Creatures in a 15ft cone are affected in ascending order of their current hp. Affected creatures are blinded for one round.

My left hand goes for one of my hidden daggers at the small of my back resting on the hilt. I step in behind Urgo and turn to watch the others at our backs.

Having drawn some unwanted attention to himself Rael hid himself away in a merchant caravan and travelled to Solace where he's been laying low, vowing to himself to turn over a new leaf and slowly working his way through his ill gotten gains.

I'm unfamiliar with the Dragonlance setting as well but keen to give it a go.

I'm after a good sized city nearby to be from? I've tried some Google fu but haven't been super successful finding a map that is a high enough resolution to find city names.

Rael grew up as a typical street rat, but over the last few years he has been pulling off more and more elaborate burglaries. The last job went a little south and he had to leave the city in a hurry. He's come to Solace to lay low for a while.
