"When was the last time you spit blood in the face of your enemies?" a sibilant voice asks over the speakers. "What about the freezing blast straight from the ice-wyrms of Triaxus, have you ever breathed ice into the face of your enemies?" The sound of a cold, refreshing bottle of ale accompanies the voice that promises as much pleasure as it does violence.

"When was the last time your wounds closed themselves, or your scales resisted the... penetration of a Night. Arch. Needler?" a second voice pulses. It is just as luscious, but with an accent of sophistication and intelligence.

"Have you ever wondered," asks a third voice "how FUN a prehensile tail could be? An extra arm? What about Vilderarian tentacles, ever wondered how fun tentacles can be?"

"Then let us," all three voices say in unison, "Augment your adventurous side!

A very tall, well-proportioned Vesk appears on the vid. He has many frills, scutes, and spines that are hard to imagine in a single species let alone on a single person. Highly polished subtympanic scales speak to a high degree of fashion.

A monocle dangles from a string that disappears into an impressive beard. "I am Senior Research Director Q'Qwaan. I have scoured the Pact Worlds--and beyond--for all the best adaptions life has to offer."

"We are Helix Artistry Ventures," the three voices return. "Let us spice..., one voice giggles make that splice "...up your life!

With no new samples to work on, Q'Qwaan returns to his previous work enhancing the DNA of durability. There is a commonality among his augmentations that he hopes to improve upon.

vesk brigadine III, Dex & armor savant. Brigadine 3 is on a chronicle, & I am level 6. I think I was adding Dex or savant bonus twice, so you are correct about the 22.

I need y'all's opinion as I may have been using one of my magical hacks wrong. Is the duration of Supercharge Weapon One round or less? If not, Extended spell doesn't work with it. Supercharge, is of course, why I chose the hack :)

Espousing another genetic adaption of the reptilian superiority, the Senior Research Director opens his mouth and reveals the wyrm glands inside.

Unless we had a chance to talk of it, you may not know that QQwaan has a backup system to keep him from dying & is willing take risks he can exaggerate later into greater tales than they are. :) Go expand him into your blast if you want (or the next one)

Depending on Flenn's final space, I can get into room. Though, I can't also close the door before the flying thingies enter. Is someone else able to?

move into the room, jumping onto the crates (double move, jet dash)

If not:

Move into the hall stopping just after it opens (4 squares?), then ready a wyrm gland for when I can hit both flyers (Reflex saves needed)

The old vesk holds up a hand where a small bud seems to grow. With a flash the bud opens into a full moon flower bloom, complete with a blinding flash.

Q'Qwaan sputters for a long while. "Sl...! S...? Sloppy!? I say!" He gathers his breath "How trained can they be if the don't understand basic science?" Whatwhat! "30 seconds. Done in 30 seconds & with no casualties! Why I lost more time against a dozens of desert bandits...." The insults soon lose out to tales of glorious battles only Q'Qwaan hears himself drone about.

"Citizens. Whatwhat? Exploring. Exploring the disturbance of a military complex. And Reporting it. Why sir, you will see these Starfinders excel at that!"

I will take the other healing serum, as he is usually out of combat and can administer when needed. I would also like a full power pack (even if it means transferring charges) as I can turn it into another casting.

Owen would also not be a target*. Normally* it affects one target... so it seems to have worked perfectly. :)

Q'qwaan touches the monocle and an image of a clock appears in nis vision. The mage-core officer targets the underling who spoke with a spell, converting the air around it into burning acid.

ranged v EAC: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21, acid: 4d4 ⇒ (1, 2, 4, 3) = 10 using resolve point to extend the spell. (caustic conversion, No save, but SR applies)

In so many scenarios I play, Q'Qwaan is the skill-monkey (-tailed skink). It is weird when we have so many social skill checks. :)

Q'Qwaan stops just outside the Cenotaph's main plaza. He pays his respect for the fallen, including his grandfather and great grandfather. His words do not stop. Instead they continue to drop in volume before getting louder again, at least for some of us. It is not out loud however as his words come directly into your mind. "Just like we talked about quiteright?

To the man in the blue cloak, do not be alarmed whatwhat. A friend sent us and we are here to discuss your organization.,

I assume I shared this plan on the way to the meeting. Q'Qwaan will cast telepathic message on himself, three of us others and the man in the cloak. One of those connected should stand near the contact, to show him the note if need be. Those not connected should stay back with me, so I can relay the conversation from a distance apart from the others.

Under his breath he adds "It is sometimes a struggle to get things into the mammalian brains, but not so difficult as fighting the bandits of Treskian Hills. Honorless, those bandits. Much like these 'Keepers.' They would deny the superior physical, and intelligence specimens we vesk have evolved into!"

"I say, do you have any moonflowers here? If not I have a perfect example of their DNA. I got it while fighting..." The old vesk launches into a story of impossible odds and overcoming coming them with a simple, but clever tactic.

The old vesk flips the haft of his weapon downward, its blades nearly skim the ground but he rotates the the other end over his shoulder, catches it in both hands brings the blade smashing down on the red vesk!

As he steps forward the light leaves an outline of the tall vesk. Another step toward the cowards another outline forms around him. The outlines follow Q'Qwaan, turning into images of him as he draws his doshku. "kis PLOCH!"

Cast mirror image, move forward trying to block LoS to pinned down, Narbal.

The old Vesk looks through his monocle at the Ysoki's limbs.

"Mechanical are nice, but for my experience you can find better. You could grow your own. The regenerative powers of the fence lizards are renowned, but it is not unheard of in even the mammals. It is all about finding the right alleles."

QQwaan is tall, even for a Vesk. He has many frills, scutes, and spines that are hard to imagine in a single species let alone for a single person. Highly polished subtympanic scales speak to a high degree of fashion.

A monocle dangles from a string that disappears into an impressive beard. The eyepiece has no glass but all the markings of a holographic overlay sight system. He leans on a big stick of some red alloy, topped with several crystaline spikes.

"Retirement whatwhat? Who should be so brave to leave the dangers of space and exploration and adventures to sit in a leather-back chair writing about dangers and exploration and adventures?

As an old adventurer himself he will toff his top hat and offer good wishes to the party of honor.

Aye, Kultanien totally rocked it. She & Viper almost carried the whole thing. Q'Qwaan has a lot of the sciences & usually helps that way. Still a good show & a fun run.
