Did the spy drone find anything of interest down the garbage chute?

Flenn stays toward the back, tapping the remote control for the spy drone. If it sees nothing of interest, he orders it to come back out of the garbage chute. "We want to send this thing ahead to scope out the route?"


Essentially your spy drone found a gutted and disassembled incinerator system (strangely enough, no trash pit) that exited into the hallway.

For some reason I can't quite figure out the map in relation to what's been going on...

Chk'tarlsh forms up with his companions, laser rifle at the ready, as they prepare to breach the door. Ready when you are, he sends telepathically.

Okay, I will set the spy drone to begin exploring some of those side hallways further to the top right, just in case there's anything up there worth catching our attention, while we go through the doors.

In an abundance of caution, Flenn draws his thunderstrike rifle and activates his energy shield the moment before the door is opened.


As you open the door:

Large tanks and monitors fill much of this spacious room. The tanks bubble and hiss with reagents and chemicals, while the displays show the signs of a brewing battle outside the compound. A pair of double doors exits the room to the north, and two transparent polycarbonate doors sit in the eastern and western walls.

As the door opens, you see three vesk. Two of which seem to be anxious and ready for a fight and are surprised by your entrance. A third vesk seems to be working the controls on one of the workstations and turns around in surprise. As all three fumble for their weapons, you hear a slimy voice come around the corner.

"Now now, there's no need for violence . . . not yet. Starfinders, you are starfinders yes? I feel we've . . . oh what is that biped expression? . . . gotten off on the wrong foot. Yeeesss. You are interested in uncovering what came before the gap? We have the answer . . . it was nothing. We can prove it to you, if you'd listen . . ."

Into view slithers a strange creature with an elongated head and several tentacles. You identify it as an Ijtikri from your previous research.

Just then you hear a loud shriek and turn around to see two winged creatures Slide 7 barreling toward you.

Flenn, Sorry, your drone didn't pick them up. The door they were in was closed and locked until the Doc there remotely unlocked it.

"-Finally, conversing with heathens is exhuasting. Gentlemen, kill them!"

Vecro was looking at the Vesk in front of him when he is smacked in his shoulder with the dart. The blow is so strong that it almost turns him around.

If you have any fire resist, it instead gets rid of that (including from a thermal dampener. If not, then you take 1.5x as much damage from fire.

Hearing the commotion behind him, Chk'tarlsh turns in time to see Q'Qwaan attempt to vlind the flying creatures.

He fires a round at red, then begins to drop back along the corridor, toward the other group.

"Fall back to the ssafety of the corridor. We can work our way back to the othersh!" he calls to Q'Qwaan and Flenn.

Flenn fires his jump jets and vaults forward behind Chk'tarish. He glances around, frowning. "Got a bottleneck here ...Q'Qwaan, I'll clear you a space to get up here and close the door, so we can focus on these guys instead of those drones." He fires his jets again, vaulting over the equipment in the room.

Double move, both of them with jump jets. I can go 10 feet high. Is that enough to get over these structures to the left and right of the doorway? If not, I can vault over the people in front of me to go into the room, though I suspect that will trigger AoO off the solarian, at least. So I'll complete the final move, to give room for Q'Qwaan once I know which way I can go.

Holding one arm out to maintain the gravity crush on Boss Ijikri, he sweeps the other at the vesk solarian.

Maintain Crush on Ijikri (DC 19 Fort save or be staggered). Using Gravity Lift on the solarian (DC 19 Fort save negates). If he fails he will be moved to the point designated with a sun on the map. This will cause him to provoke from Vecro and Gustov (although no flanking on those AoOs).

Move into the hall stopping just after it opens (4 squares?), then ready a wyrm gland for when I can hit both flyers (Reflex saves needed)

Q'Qwaan hears a bunch of scraping at the door, but nothing seems to get through.

The Ijtikri seems to slighly recover and fires a shot at Owen who is keeping him down.
Sorry, but you are making yourself the biggest pain in the keyster for these guys.
