It totally does say that, lol. I'm good at reading. :P

Ooooh, nice! I've wanted to get my pirate on for some time now. I'll probably have something up and fleshed out for this by Monday night.

Am I correct in assuming that this will be 1st level with standard starting gold?

This sounds awesome! I'd love to submit a character. I'll get to work conceptualizing and should have something ready by the end of Saturday, if not sooner. Probably some type of full caster - I do so love my casting classes.

EDIT: I'm thinking I'll make a Half-Orc Shaman.

Hey, no problem there - I can switch to Halfling without much issue if that's your preference.

(Probably catfolk and tiger totem, if that's cool)

EDIT: If I were to do this, would it be acceptable for me to use the Catfolk's favored class bonus for bards? It increases bardic knowledge bonuses, which Skald also has access to. If not, it's cool, but I just figured I'd ask.

If this is still open, I'd be interested for sure. I'm looking at going Skald (totemic archetype, and no race hammered down just yet). I'll post it as soon as it's ready!

Interested for sure. I'll make a submission sometime tomorrow.

In my experiences 3.5 psionics were pretty busted. It may have had the same optimization ceiling as normal 9th level casting but the floor and mid-range were much higher.

lol the ceiling wasn't even similar to where non-psionic casters were, the reason being you could cast somewhere in the range of 20 9th level powers in a given day rather than, say, four or five if your stats were really high, or barring that you could have effectively at will casting of any low level spells you felt like. Power points were just a really hilariously bad way to approach the system the way they did.

lol oh dear god, Gestalt. Uh... yeah, I'll draw something up. It's gon' be something nasty.

A quick question - does everybody get the specified bonus feats, or just PCs?

OK, then maybe Grippli Herald Caller Cleric. We have a stark lack of divine casting.

lol yeah... I neglected to look at the top of that list. I was a bit surprised that nobody had picked inquisitor for a witch hunting campaign. Thanks for pointing it out.

I'd like to possibly join this one. I was looking at running Tengu Inquisitor (especially if I can use some of the alternate racial traits).

4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1, 4) = 9
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 4, 2) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 6, 2) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 2, 6) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 3, 1) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 4, 3) = 15

Hey, if this is still open, I'd be quite interested. Initial character concept is a Grippli Spiritualist, but that's not necessarily what I'll decide on. Will post as soon as I've made a decision.

So I made a Skald, and I'm trying to make combat a little more helpful for myself by wearing a Cestus and wielding my Guisarme.

I know the Guisarme has Reach and Trip, but I'd like to know how it would work to switch between wielding my guisarme to holding it in my offhand, punching someone with my cestus.

What kind of action is it?
Could I effectively threaten squares adjacent to me as well as within my Guisarme's reach?

Free action to switch between. So I'd call that you could threaten *either* the adjacent square or the next one out, your choice made on your turn.

But yeah, Castilonium is right - armor spikes are easier and more effective.

And here's mine.
