Ace is clearly pissed at Royston "How in the Nine Hells could possibly think terminating our duel just because you didn't like how it was going was at all a good idea? Forcing us to do what you want is a total abuse of power. The whole point of this fight was based on freedom of choice, and you just robbed us of ours." He looks like he's about to hit the professor, then obviously thinks better of it, and stalks off.

Royston stops a moment wile the child vents, then after he stalks of in anger, Royston go's to his class, as unmoved by emotion, as uncompasinet, as unsimpathetc, as uncaring and unfeeling as ever.

As they step out of the SIM into the lobby area, the pretty tiefling who greeted them before is frowning as she pores over what appears to be a handbook.

"Sumimasen," she said, bowing again, "But I have a question, sensei. I do not think you are supposed to give detention for that? They were not breaking any rules I could find. I agree that a referral to the school psychologist may be required, but as far as I can tell, they successfully conveyed their feelings without breaking any guidelines, ne? Did I miss something?"

Royston stops and looks at his fellow teacher, hearing her out.

"Greeting Professor Tanaka may I see"

Then holds his hands out for the school rule book for students, once handed over he reads the parts she pointed out.

"You are correct Professor, it seems I was in error with my interpretation of school rules. Thank you for showing me this."

He says to her with a nod, Then to David and Ace.

"In light of what Professor Tanaka has shown me, Ace, David there is no call for detention. However Ace Professor Tanaka suggestion of a referral to the school psychologist is a sound one. Please book yourself in for psychoanalytic assessment with the school psychologist as soon as you are able. Now if you two wish you may resume your duel, the SimRoom has it recorded, you can start back as you where. I do not now have the time to over see you, I have class. But if you ask Professor Tanaka who is the PE teacher an much better suited to this than me, she may be willing, good day to you both, Professor Tanaka."

With a bow he hands back the rule book and heads off to another Simroom where he is teaching gun safety in just a few minuets.

Ok I'm out of this now, do as you like, any teacher will have a problem given Aces stated aim.

Its not that Ace its what he just said that of course has made Royston intervene.

Ace has clearly said he's had a bad few days and wants to beat on another student to feel better or have that student beat on him.

I'm sorry but no teacher will let that happen, it sets a very bad precedent for students and is very unhealthy for Ace and David.
Students can used the SimRooms to vent of anger, but not other students, sorry that's a very big no-no unless OKed as part of a GM ok'ed back story/Arch etc, this is not.

You put Royston in a position where he has to act. Also Royston suspected this was what was driving Ace but now Ace has admitted it... well punishment is due and the school has seen such student targeted anger its not expectable.

In a nut shell

A student can't be violent to other student because he wants to feel better, no way, and letting another student hurt them to do the same is even more unhealthy.

Dave on the other hand, should not have let himself BE provoked, again lack of self-control showing.

So As a Teacher Royston is ending this, with punishment for both of you.

On screen around the school, the Duel scene has been playing out,
As the stalemate was reach, and both party's did little more than cat call at each other, Professor Royston stayed his hand, he had had a good idea this was where they would end up, Emotions flare then fade so he had been trained. Not having them did not mean he did not understand them. A school of children. No just leaning to use their skills and powers but also self-discipline, control over Emotion. Ace and David had let there get the better of them, all could not see that, and once those had Emotions rule them here they where, two boys calling names at each other. Time to end this and time to teach.

Royston held up his hand once more.

"This Duel is ended, there is no winner, Stalemate was the out come, Sim Restore."

I believe your friend Tybolt had a far better understanding of what Ace was contemplating than yourself. Ace, I believe someone close to you was unhappy with your actions as well. I feel they may have a deep understanding of your Emotions than you have."

Royston taps his pad, the sim ends and two doors comes into being.

"Being violent to other students just for your own selfish needs is not acceptable, bullying, abusing is not, you both need to lean more self control, Ace the Simrooms where made to that students with anger problems could work them out. I suggest if your not all ready taking them Anger management classes. I will see you both here tonight for detention, classes are starting now, please leave by separate door, you are dismissed."

He waits for them to go.

The room gets distinctly colder as frost creeps across the floor and up the gold of Dave's wings around him, and(if he wasn't immune to mind effects) Tybalt would seem terrifying(shaking aura).

As this starts Roystons hands come back from behind his back, in one is a staff data pad. He presses with his other hand on it.

One student looks to Royston and asks, "Hey, aren't you going to do something here?"

The four of them have moved befor the student gets to the end of his question.

In an instant the four, Royston, Dave Ace and Tybolt are ported to a SimRoom, it is there the Ice creeps across the Floor, and shaking aura expand out.

"I have moved us for the safety of others, please carry on"

On Screens across the school, where such things are shown, the scene inside the SimRoom is no displayed.

In other words if other PCs wish to show up they can, seeing on the screens where the four have gone and what is happening.

He first turns to The teacher "I would like to point out that I asked several times for him to leave or bring this to somewhere more private, and he was the one to instigate the encounter"

He then looks at the students in front of him ready to rip each other apart and says in a calm level voice.

"If you two Gentlemen agree to duel then my understanding is you will need a supervising Teacher. I can be that supervision if you need it. Out of class times of course. You should both to understand that A SimRoom duel is far more preferable to what you are doing now. Which is scaring small children with your near violent show of emotions in the schools dinning hall"

around him kids as young as 5 moving tables to get away from the group, Royston looks at Dave and Ace to see their response.

There sis two teachers there, moving Royston up ready.

Royston looks the Psicystal now in front of him, he waits for it to do something.

On his way out, Royston hearing a conversion get heated, has second thoughts about going, he walks up closet to where Dave Ace and Tybalt are talking, He says nothing but just stops and stands close there. He's seems to be paying close attention to the conversation they are having. His hands are behind his back, He's face still but attentive, he says nothing. The three can clearly see him there.

Royston gets up.

"Well it was interesting to meet you, I have to go get ready for my class now, I wish you the best of luck in yours Professor."

And with that he head off.

"You would have to find a teacher with the skills to make one, but yes I do not see why not."

He takes out a staff data pad and pulls up a list of names.

"Students and staff listed as capable of making such a device, sent a call out, lets see who shows up"

He hands the pad over to Advaran,

"If you don't have a data pad Advaran keep that one, it will keep you up to date on school events. I have put it in image and sound mode. I know some Goblins don't like written text."

What safety procedures you have adopted now your a teacher at the school, it would not be good if that to detonated In here say. You see there are students at this school that can strip away magic and manipulate probability in a negative way. We have to be carful here. So if do you made me suggesting, I think you could ask the school to supply you with a bandolier of holding. In that way your devices could be kept safe in pocket dimensions."

He places his hand on the table palm up. There is a small crystal on his inner wrist. it glows for an instant and from a hidden dimensional space a black hand gun slips into being in the blink of an eye. Royston holds it for a moment, then it's gone.

He takes his hand away.

"Guns.. we that can take some time but Gun Kata well, Through statistical analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Gun Kata or Gun-Fu practitioner, can determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle to a statistically-predictable element. Gun Kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position used placed the Gun Kata user in the optimum killing position vs their opponents, the master the killing zones. They can then inflict maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents, while keeping the defender clear of the statistically-traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, A master of Gun-Kata's firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increased lethal proficiency makes the master of the Gun Kata master not an adversary not to be taken lightly. The Gun Kata places emphasis on two tenets: shooting the enemy as efficiently as possible, and avoiding return fire. Hitting targets is a matter of knowing where enemy fighters are likely to be located in relation to the user, which removes the problem of aiming (especially at close ranges) and allows the user to defeat foes with pre-emptive fire before they can present a true threat. Royston is just ending as they take there seats at the staff table.

He shrugs, "The explosives come from being a goblin from Azaroth, the PE, well, if you can dodge a bomb, you can dodge an orc berzerker or a Worgen with a greatsword, really if you can dodge a bomb you can dodge anything," he says. "Why does the coffee have to always be swill, why can't I just get some good coffee without bad juju or biochemical experiments ib it?"

"I agree, if a student can get out of the way from a blast wave I think they could dodge just about anything moving slower than sound. As for the coffee I could not agree more, unless hand ground from beans you yourself have roasted it's nearly always swill as you say. How ever I'm informed the catering staff have some higher grade coffee for visitors. How about we ask them to heat up a pot just for us. I think I can swing that, let say you get some food and we meet at the staff tables."

He says this just as they enter the canteen.

"and over coffee you can tell me all about the new explosives I'm not up to speed with, how dos that sound"

"Yes, that would be most helpful, most helpful indeed," he said as he nodded vigorously. "Hopefully they'll have some actual GOOD coffee instead of that Trollish Rotgut Swill I've had back in Azaroth at the local inn, a very hard to acquire taste, too hard and bitter for me."

"I have been told to be carful around the coffee, it seems some of the students like to test their bio chemical work on it. I'm Professor Royston by the way, I teach energy and fire arms, the roster I think said your teaching advanced demolitions and PE, now that is an odd combination"

Said in his normal even and monotone voice.

Advaran touches the wall, "How did this work again, just say where I need to go?" He closes his eyes to try to remember, "I can't think on an empty stomach, I need food, coffee, and maybe a good explosion or two."

Royston walking to his class sees Prof Silvertongue and stops behind him.

"My I help you Professor Silvertongue the canteen is that way"

Royston points down the hall.

"I am going that way myself, I could show you if you wish"

Royson, guns may be better in the real world, but here, not so much.

Professor Royston, heads to the head masters office with his full report, he places on the desk of the headmaster PA and then heads off to his 1st class of the day. "Light side arms, safe use and tactics"

Professor Royston sits at his desk in his white sparse minimalist living space. Diligently writing by hand a report for the headmaster on the attack site.

Royston was still looking over the crime site, it was odd no others had come out to view it. It was as if they did not care about forensics science at all. He had taken samples of blood, foot print casts and looked for fibres on the plants. Also images of the site from a number of hights so as to be able to construct the location in the sim rooms. He had a number of samples all bagged up ready for testing. he would take them back to the school and see if he could find a student with the skills and time to work this whole thing out in a more logical way. Magic and powers had failed, it was time to do it the old fashioned way.

he started to head back to the school.

"Sure, I'll help out anyway I can, I guess..."

looks at the tracks again
"I think the shuffling here is odd. I think the unknown person here mesmerized the victim or otherwise manipulated her out here for the murder. People don't walk like this normally..."

Royston go back to recording the attack site.

He looks over the area then heads off a ways, kneels down and looks at something. Then he gets back up and heads over to Royston.

"I'm sorry I'm terrible with names. Roy is it? Come here, please, but stay back a bit." He'll indicated how close to get then nod.
"These foot prints seem to be the victim's. They shuffle up to this point, then, blood. I found nothing else, save these slight tracks over here..." He indicates a track out of step with the shuffling ones. "This was someone else. A human boy in his early teens, by the look of it. Wearing flat soled footwear, like maybe sandals or leather wraps?"

Royston comes over as instructed,

The he hears out Al'rqyq and he explains what he found.
He takes out a data pad and reads.

"Al'rqyq, this is very perplexing, it dos not seem to tally with what has been said about the events. I am not suggesting you are wrong Al'rqyq I think the Vitim may have had her relocations tampered with. Just a single foot print of the 2ed party and not here but away heading to the school."

With his school teachers data pad he records the foot prints, he keeps of the ground, hovering just about.

"Al'rqyq would you be willing to come to the school and talk to the head of its security. I can give you a pass so other know why you are there. I think you telling her would be better then me passing on the information 3ed hand. She may wish your help in tracking down that second party, or as I suspect a witness."

He takes out a note pad and writes and pass-note.

He begins to look around on the ground, at the trees, looking for any sign of passing other than his own...
