Even after the dumb thing he did, Dave still wanted to make him laugh...

Vickory will avoid scaring you any further, though she seems neutral emotionally, perhaps undecided about how to feel about your fearfulness.

You see, I was piloting the shuttle to evacuate the firebird sun. and the heat shield failed while I was making a repair to to landing gear.....anyway long story short, there was a blast, I got burned, Raelle and Igni saved me, I was in a coma, Ginni went in my head, and she discovered there was a new Mel inside the old Mel, and well, you see, I regenerate a new body when my old body dies. and Ginni said she discovered that I did it once already which gave you the Mel I am now. and there is now a third Mel that will come out if this Mel dies...
Mel is really nervous as she just starts rambling again.
Dom obviously confused by something or perhaps everything, Mel just said. He holds his hand up as to say stop. "You were in a coma? I knew I should have stayed to keep you safe, but what is this about old Mel, new Mel, this Mel? I think my head hurts now." He hacks his head for a second. "Oh wait you me you have been through a reincarnation? Oh ok."

::Well I remember Hew saying good bye then I saw Ignace for a little bit. After that.. Oh there was this girl with great shoes that I talked to for a little bit. Oh the there was a cute boy. "Because... you're beautiful like this. You're like a perfect sculpture. But I'm just.... stuck this way I don't belong.... I just want to be something that would make you happy..."
"What like I don't always look good?" He grins "but seriously, if you're feeling self conscious, you do look good and people do sculpt things out of ice too"

And you know I care about you. And for Gods sakes you're the most beatiful thing I've ever seen. But I just don't know where we're going with this. Any time you're ready... whether that's ever or not. I'll be here. Because being here is enough. I may always want more, but this is enough. Thank you for giving me this...."He has made no move to pull away and likely won't.
Dave squeezes slightly tighter for a moment as the temperature rapidly shifts back and forth. A few minutes later he looks down at Tybalt "we good?"

He doesn't make a move to pull away but will if Dave does.
The entire room has been slowly frosting over from where he was through this conversation.
"Should I still make the thing? I just feel so small... I'm eighteen and I've been four feet tall for five years now... I'm ready to at least look grown up. If you like me like this, I'll stay, but I just think this wouldn't be so hard for us if I looked as old as I really am."
If Dave does let him go, he'll wave away the pile of cushions in favor of a couch he lays down on. The dinosaur cushion stayed and is used as a pillow.

Ok, you see, a long time ago, well maybe a long time ago....No wait maybe that isn't the place to start,
she thinks for a bit. Ok Ginni discovered, and I think its in the medical scan too, but, I have this strange, well actually its kinda cool, but anyway.
She stops for a breath realizing she is rambling on again.
You see, If I die, I don't really die, I regenerate. I get a new body, a new personality, everything. And then I live a whole nother life.
Mel looks at Dom wondering how he is taking this, she seems worried that he will think she is some kind of freak or something.
"Look how you want to, but don't feel pressured into changing, especially not on my behalf" he then releases the cat and pats his head, missing up his hair
He let's Dave pull away. He can't help but smile, close his eyes and give an involuntary purr when Dave ruffles his hair.
"I'll think about it. It might just be nice to have. Lots of possibilities for it..."
He trails off and his stomach growls.
"Ugh. Now I'm hungry again.... do you want me to pop out and get something for us to eat?"
Dave's stomach answers for him, growing out a response "yeah, I kinda skipped dinner earlier, rather busy"
"It's a bit late to cook stuff, but you need to get a list together of all the food you want me to make for your birthday. You just tell me what it is and I'll make everything. I like to cook."
He stresses the word 'everything.'
"What were you doing by the way?"
He stands up and smooths out his clothes, getting ready to blink out to get food.
"Well, I like meat," he grinned "corned beef hash, meat loaf, baked drake, roast beast, deep fried Chocobos, that sorta thing"
He frowns then chuckles, "as for what we were doing, we saved the world"
"K. I can remember that. Getting ahold of it all will be tougher, but I think I can handle it. And you're telling more about this world saving when I get back."
He pops him in the chest with a Ray of Frost and then dissapears.

Several minutes later he arrives with an animated cart in line with him like the one he brought this morning. After that one enters another follows in after and then another.
All three are laden with mostly meats, also cheeses and pastry and several gallons of tea.
"Don't worry. I can make you some bigger pants if you want. Saving the world must work up a big appetite and you shouldn't go to bed hungry."
He picks up a platter and fills it up, brining it to Dave, and doing almost everything but feeding him.
A well made wooden table is summoned with him at the head and Tybalt lines it up with the things from the cart.
"You eat and I'll take what's left. And if there's not any, there's more where this came from."
Dave pours himself a glass of tea and gets himself a plate of meat and cheese "If I actually try to burn calories, I can burn this much of in like an hour, easy"
"I can get more. I thought three carts would be enough. Where do you put it all? Like, literally. My magic doesn't adapt me to hold all the food I need, so I have to push myself to as far as my body can hold."
As Dave stands to get the food, he sets a paw on his shoulder and brings it over to the table to Dave.
Carl gets to his room and sees if his room mate is back.
she's sleeping in her bed.
Dave rolls his eyes at Tybalt's insistence, but let's him serve him "it's a dragon thing, so far as I can tell, " he says before putting some of the food in his mouth.
"Must be just a big dragon thing then..." he says off handedly.
"What kind of dragon are you related to anyways? Ice aligned obviously because of your breath ability, but what kind?"
He watches Dave eat, supplying more when what's in front of him runs out.
"I come from a line of blue linorms, very big dragons, they look kinda like the imperial dragons, but most of them are more physically inclined than magically so, "
"Oh, so you're from the big, strong ones. That explains a lot."
He sounds like he's joking.
He flexes his arm and kisses his bicep again "it's intuitively obvious even to the most casual observer"

While returning Mel's hug, Dom whispers in her ear. "I know what you are. You are my geeky little sister. Taking a step back he leaves his hands on her shoulders and looks her in the eyes. "Oh I guess I should tell you. I'm not human ether." A small chuckle escapes his lungs, as he knows Mel has had knowledge that he's not human for a long time.
"Now go get to bed. We have class tomorrow and you need all the beauty sleep you can get." He joked.
