I believe that last year, it was implied that we might see the return of First Steps 2 & 3. With an (the?) Evergreen this year being a 3-7, is there any chance we could see one of those two return? Perhaps 2. I think it would be very, very easy to rewrite the little bits of 2 to make it pertinent to the current factions and tweak a few words on the cert (I'm game to doing it if you need someone)

Alrighty folks, here is the discussion thread. As you finalize your characters, feel free to post who and what you are playing along with their intro. It will help us expedite jumping right into the scenario. Also post your PFS number for your character and their faction. Thanks, and welcome aboard!
This game is part of the Official Pathfinder Society PbP Game Day. For more information please visit:The PBP Gameday Website Everyone in the fishing town of Ilsurian is excited when the legendary Umbra Carnival rolls into town—even if the show is run by members of the much-maligned Varisian ethnic group. With strange and exotic beasts, scandalous performances, games of chance, and all the other fun of a traveling fair, who could resist such an opportunity for entertainment? Unfortunately for both the town and the circus, however, entertainment isn’t the only opportunity the carnival presents. Hidden within Ilsurian, a guild of thieves and scoundrels has been waiting for just such an occasion to launch a campaign of theft and murder—leaving the strangers from the circus to take the blame. With tensions mounting between locals and performers, and the body count rising on both sides, it’s up to the PCs to uncover what’s really going on and clear the circus’s name before the entire town erupts in a firestorm of ethnic violence. Murder’s Mark is an adventure of mystery, illusion, and mob justice for 1st-level characters (You may replay this module with Level 1 characters as many times as you like, and may play it once on a level 2 character). This game will be fast paced, I will need people to post daily or I will move forward, as we have 3 months to complete a module. At the end your PFS character will have gained a full level! If there is time after we finish, I may be persuaded to run a second game (More than a month remaining, in which case, I will run a standard scenario). By playing you will be eligible to win gameday boons just like going to an in-person con. Five Spots are available. The game will start on April 7th!
This game is part of the Official Pathfinder Society PbP Game Day. For more information please visit: The PBP Gameday Website The Confirmation is a great starter scenario that is written so that it has variables so it isn't the same each time you play it. It is replayable at level 1, but you may only play it once at level 2. I am looking for people who wish to play, the game will start on April 5th, with the start of the PBP Game Day. Participants will be eligible for con rewards just like you had gone to a con in person. We will have 3 months to complete it, but it will likely be done in 1 month and if we finish early, I will run another scenario or two (if time permits).
So my daughter has been asking to play "the dice game" for about six months now and I was considering it's almost time to do so. She is almost reading fluidly, has a basic grasp of math, and loves to tell stories, so I feel like if I can tune the rules down to something she can easily understand, she will really, really enjoy it. I've decided that creating a half-dozen characters that are based off of her favorite Disney movies would be a good way to start, so I came up with a list: Flynn Rider: Human Rogue (he was easy, honestly)
Help or suggestions or other ideas would be a great boon!

Horatio and Olivius had both been traveling for a good bit with a caravan, run by one Silas Gribb and he had promised the two of them a nice payment once they arrived and he unloaded his merchandise. Silas had been paid by a church of Sarenrae to take Feora with him so that she might see the world and begin to light darkness beyond the walls of their church. Trig only just happened upon the caravan a days ride before and they had not had the pleasure of meeting Frigg as of yet, but Trig had thought it might be a tad faster to ride with a group and that she might find some entertainment among the larger folk. With the ride, she promised help with the horses...who seemed to love her almost immediately. At this point, if you would like to do a bit of RP getting to know one another, I would be game for that, or I can push into the plot, but being I'm Hand of Godding your into the same caravan, I figure giving you a little time to meet/make some bonds/annoy one another would only be fair. Just let me know how you would like to run with this particular part before I push into the plot.
I'm looking to start a new game. I have decided to run Dragon's Demand and I will be including PFS certs to those who want it. Now, onto a little about me: Pros: I have a ton of experience in writing, I hit the computer several times a day, and I have been roleplaying for over 20 years. Cons: I have only GM'd one other PbP game, which is about halfway through the first book of an AP at this point. I have found that I am as active of a GM as I have players. If you post a lot, I will as well, but if you flounder, I will be sad and slow to post. If this happens, I will try and breath life into the group and hopefully it will stick (It worked the first time, which we lulled hard during the holidays). Also, I have a new baby on the way, but that will probably increase my time to play. The Fine Print Oh, I bet you want to know about Character Creation, don't you? Yeah, it's going to be pretty simple: Stats: We are going to go with PFS stats here. 20 pt buy and nothing lower than a 7 before racials. Traits: You get two. I am not a fan of disadvantages. Races: Speaking of Races...I'm going to go with let's be rational. If you want to play one of the more rare ARG races, I'll consider it, but you had better have a story for it. If there is a cert to play it in PFS, I will almost certainly allow it, but make me buy into it. Classes: See the race section. The only class/archetype I'm not a big fan of is Vivasectionist because I think it belittles the rogue and ninja. Beyond that, I'll look at anything. ACG is allowed. Note: Not doing hero points or mythic anything. Backstory: This is where you will wow me. Anyone can crunch a character, but it takes something special to transform an idea into something other people care about. Make me want you to be one of my heroes in this group. I am prone to giving away odd bonuses for people who give me good backgrounds (I gave away a trait to each player in one game and in my other PbP game, I gave away unique items or traits or feats depending on their background). I am not a huge fan of powergamers, especially in a situation like this. Let your characters grow into their strengths and it is more enjoyable, in my mind. If that is not the case for you, maybe not a good place to apply. Not keen on character interactions? Probably not the best place to apply. Looking for a GM that wants to have fun and ensure his group is having fun? Ok, maybe the place to apply. This adventure is designed to take you from 1-7 and it is very heavy on the loot, though not the downtime, so know that in advance. Also, it has a bit of a sandbox feel, in that there are lots of side quests that you can do as you want (though when you choose to do them will make or break how hard some of it all is). I would like to get 1 post per day, and if we are in combat, I will bot you to keep things flowing. I do have one player already locked in, though no idea what they are playing.

It shouldn't be much of a surprise that a tavern is full in a port city, especially a tavern so close to the docks, as Formidably Maid was. For various and sundry reasons, each of your have found yourselves here, this evening, and busy isn't even the right word for it. A barkeep stands behind the bar, pouring ales and rums for all of his barmaids as they come up and ask. Occasionally, the rotund man will roll his eyes and pull out a bottle of wine from beneath the bar and pour a goblet of wine for someone. Each time a customer walks in, the bearded, bald Mwangwi man gives a nod, then goes back to the customer in front of him, a dark-haired knave with a long beard, set apart in braids. A women with fiery red hair sits near the fire, warming her hands, while sipping one of the aforementioned goblets of wine. A beautiful elven-looking woman stands on a table, singing a upbeat jig that has most of the crowd throwing coins into a cup at her feet, or clapping along. Her performance keeping the group in good spirits. Feel free to be in the tavern and interact with one another as much as you like, I will post intermittently, but I will be watching even if not posting.
As it appears the other Skull & Shackles game is about to be done with recruiting, I'm going to post my attempt at one. Pros: I have a ton of experience in writing, I hit the computer several times a day, and I have been roleplaying for over 20 years. Cons: This is the first time I have GM'ed play by post, but you can check, I've been consistently playing in two for several months now, posting daily, and hungry for more. The Fine Print Skull & Shackles is not for the faint of heart or the pure of heart for that matter. If being a pirate is going to not work for a character...probably shouldn't submit it. There is plenty of info in the player's guide that you can snag. Oh, I bet you want to know about Character Creation, don't you? Yeah, it's going to be pretty simple: Stats: We are going to go with PFS stats here. 20 pt buy and nothing lower than a 7 before racials. Races: Speaking of Races...I'm going to go with let's be rational. If you want to play one of the more rare ARG races, I'll consider it, but you had better have a story for it. Anyone can crunch a character, but it takes something special to transform an idea into something other people care about. Make me want to have your character on the Wormwood. I am prone to giving away odd bonuses for people who give me good backgrounds (I gave away a trait to each player in one game based off their backgrounds, who knows). I will say, I am looking for 3-4 players, as I have two. Neither of the two have made characters, but one is almost certainly going to fill an "other" roll with their character and the other will build whatever is left with a hole in the needs category. As of right now, I'm planning to end recruiting on October 4th and hopefully start by the 7th.
So my current character in PFS is a Natural Weapons Shapeshifter/Skirmisher Tiefling Ranger Level 2 and White-Haired Witch Level 1. I am in the process of leveling up to level 5 (I hit 4 and had an Adventure Path cert hit, so I get two levels right now). As of now, I have Hair/Claw/Claw/Bite and I'm looking to maximize my damage as best I can. I am looking at a couple of possibilities, but am tossing out ideas for how best to maximize my effectiveness. Right now, I'm looking at going Ranger for the next 4 levels, getting Weapons Focus (Claws) at 5th, then getting Improved Natural Weapons (Claws) and Piranha Strike at 7, then taking two levels of Unarmed fighter to get Feral Combat Training and the first two Boar Style feats. Someone else brought up the idea of me starting to take Rogue levels instead for tricks and more damage (something to be said for the sneak on four attacks, but hurts to lose the bab, despite that he will NEVER get any more attacks). What do others think?
