A young green-haired half-elf approaches the building where the assignment's briefing room is at. His eyes pitchblack with honey-colored irises. Walking in a carefree way, he looks around, stopping to ask a woman for directions.
<"You another recruit? Why would i tell you, after many of you asked me over and over?">
"Dat's because if you don't frown you are prettier."
The woman blushes...then points him at the VC's office.
"Tank you miss, a good day to you."
He enters the building, ending up in the briefing room.
"Quite de modest accommodation, it seems i'm de first one to get 'ere."
Awaiting the arrivals of any others, he leans against the wall, whistling a cheerful.
That is correct, though I will plan to do full introductions before then to expedite play a bit.

A tottering form approaches the Lodge, preceded by the strong odor of unwashed flesh. Stringy blonde hair and rags of black and red stir in a light breeze. Once in the bright morning light of the courtyard, it is clear the lean body is female, and soon after that she is inhuman -- glittering green scales trace a sepentine pattern down her left cheek, and a slender tail coils around her right thigh.
She proffers a tattered scroll to the approaching guard. "Is this the -- Paracountess Dralneen said I should -- that the Pathers would be -- maybe I could help them?" Her smile reveals rows of delicate needle-sharp teeth. "Or you could help me? Desiree? Zarta was insistent. I'll just sit quietly in the corner until you need me."
The tiefling leans close and whispers, "Don't worry, I'll only kill the ones the Venture Captain says. And Li'l Miss Smiley-Britches won't eat any of them. I promised the Paracountess."
Desiree waits for the guard to open the door, then walks into the Lodge.
Soon after the tiefling enters the Pathfinder Lodge, a small crocodile slinks in after her with a smile and a wink.

A man wearing a duster with studded armor underneath enters the lodge. He is a half elf but his skin is a little darker than usual. He carries a pistol on his left hip and a cutlass on the other. He has a rugged handsome look but he eludes a mysterious aura. He surveys the room then proceeds to position himself in a spot able to see the others.

At precisly noon a hooded man walks into the lodge. Soft white deerskin gloves hide his hands and the hood prevents a look into his face. As he talks a pearly voice is heard, asking politly, but also quite stern for admission as one of the recruits. Standing tall in an corner he stands still, like a statue, and one would think he observes the other people.

Running a little late to the party, the door to the lodge swings open to reveal a tall, slender woman dressed in black leathers and sporting a longbow across her back.. Her long, black hair is put up in a ponytail as to not get in the way and she sports a tri-corn hat.. She has a pleasant aroma of sea salt and freshly oiled wood.. She nods to the rest of the people present.. "Rayvness Shadow reporting for ah.. Duty.."
Looks like my wife is having this baby. Will likely be out the next 24 or so.
I'll be posting again, hopefully before I leave.
It will be a girl...when she decides to show up. Progressing much slower in labor #2 than in the first one.

I meant to ask this at the beginning. Does anybody's character here have any experience.
I've got the Research Specialist Boon attached to this guy and need an in-character story from a scenario that this character hasn't played. (Everything)
If you'd be kind enough to share (probably in a spoiler in case somebody hasn't played it) I'd really appreciate that.

Research Specialist. (It's Player Boon 14 from season 5)
You are an expert researcher, but some of your greatest discoveries come from the first-hand accounts of your companions and not from musty tomes. At the beginning of a scenario, you may select a fellow party member. Up to once during that scenario, if that character tells you of his or her exploits in an earlier adventure that your character has not played, document the name of the scenario, the agent's name and that player's Pathfinder Society number on a line below. For every three stories you collect in this way, you gain a permanent +1 bonus to one knowledge skill of your choice; you may not choose the same knowledge skill twice. If you successfully fill all 30 lines below, you gain a +1 inherent bonus to your intelligence score.
IMPORTANT: When sharing these stories, endeavor to avoid important spoilers.
I don't think anyone would argue with me using the character I'm assigning this to. He's "technically" on the adventure ;) We can play it out at the Grand Lodge at the end.
Peran, my wife has that boon, as well. I wish I had taken it, but I picked the medic instead. Hindsight. I could use 3 of said boon, maybe I'll get them at the next two cons I take part in.
A gm at a Con (I believe it requires 24 tables over 3 days to be considered a con) receives 1 GM boon. These are usually races (currently it is Oread) and as such, they often end up with so many of them that they are giving them away.
Any player (GM included) at a con has a 10% per game played to win one of the boons the con has been granted by Mike Brock. There are 20ish boons each season (now) and each con is given a handful of them to give out to their players. I don't know which ones will be given out during this, but each of you has a chance to win one, but not until the games get reported. At the last con I went to, I won a choose any boon prize, and as such I had several options, which for me narrowed down to Research Specialist and Personal Medic (a cute boon that might save me money one day...maybe). Usually these boons are mostly flavor with a small bonus. Research Specialist requires you to get players to tell you about their adventures and every 3rd one, you get a +1 bonus to a knowledge of your choice (1 per knowledge) and then when you have 30 total, you get a +1 to your Intelligence score.
I have one that will give me proficiency with longsword, glaive, heavy shield, or breastplate. So for a character that doesn't get one of those and you would like them to have it...also, pretty nice.
I have one that gives me a language. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.
No, I am getting used to having a colicky baby. *Sigh* Much tougher than the first one so far. My apologies. I'm getting it back on track. I promise.
