Normally I would say it is not all together clear what your ally is about to do while in melee (does Lasaraleen press the attack, grapple her foe, withdraw, etc...). Normally the caster in question would issue some sort of warning like: "Hey! fireball!" or if they are being sneaking "Hey remember that thing we talked about earlier?" or even make a Bluff (pass secret message) check, but given the current circumstances it's fine as is. reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21 "Meh." The woman moves like shadows around a campfire. Using her huge sword as a sort of counterbalance she leaps from the edge of the emerging pit spinning like a top, her blade extended, lending momentum to its edge. ![]()
