![]() So, my cat was at the vet this past week and came home on Friday after being diagnosed with a horribly fatal disease called Feline Infectious Peritonitis (or FIP). Last Sunday, the 29th, she was failing, but she stabilized over this past week. She rallied on Saturday. I won't go into details or specifics (send me a message if you want that), but I took her Monday for a second opinion at a different vet. FIP was confirmed, and I was gently told that there truly was not much to be done. They could either stretch her out for a few days, or we could put her down today, because her body could fight no longer. So I did the tough decision and put her down. We had several of my friends and my dad there with me, which was a great help. I cried and am still crying on and off. It's going to be a truly tough day tomorrow. Today, though, I just have no creative energy. I'm going to try and post tomorrow, but if I'm needed before then, please bot me. ![]()
![]() Olhas works to help Alistar improve crew morale initially. Diplomacy (Aid): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28 He then focuses himself on seeing what weather is coming for them, keeping them abreast of any weather changes. In between his watching of the horizon, he dips in and out of the water, keeping himself relaxed, before returning to the boat. Nature: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 Once he has done that bit of due diligence, he focuses all of his attention on figuring out about the chest they've been given, not entirely trusting of the response that happened when the dragon gave it to them. His eyes glow an oceany blue, as he focuses on the nature of this item. Detect Magic

![]() Just had a long chunk of nasty shifts be over so I'm in a lot of pain. I've only managed to post once a day, for the past couple days, but only been able to pick and choose one group to post to each time. Lot of pain today, but I'm getting a massage soon, so I should be back in working order and caught back up on posts within a few hours. Sorry for the delay. ![]()
![]() Olhas just grins at the nearest sahaguin and parts his lips, no sound escaping but damage definitely becoming problematic for the the watery creature. Persistant Ear-Piercing Scream. DC 19 Fort save. If either fails, the target is dazed for one round and takes... Sonic Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 1) = 11 If they succeed on both, then they aren't dazed and only takes half damage. ![]()
![]() Olhas will follow the group as well, maintaining his quiet and just keeping an eye or two out. "It does sound like quite a nasty thing; whatever it is." Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 He also attempts to give himself some additional protection in case of danger. False Life: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 Temporary hitpoint total of 53. ![]()
![]() Olhas remains quiet, his hands outstretched. as he prepares for anything that might come out of the holes in the ground. He also makes sure to maneuver in such a way to keep people safe from the fire beginning to lick at his fingertips. Basically holding in case something comes out, in which case, there'll be some Burning Hands. ![]()
![]() "Oh yes. Unfortunate position to be in, really..." He smiles slightly. "But I think things should be better now that I'm out of the hold." He looks at Delben's wringing of the overcoat and shakes his head. "I have yet to understand why so many people prefer to be dry..." And with that , he wades happily into the water, grinning and seeming much more relaxed, swimming around with the natural movements of a fish. "The next what?" He says before diving underwater and tries to peak through as well. Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 ![]()
![]() Depending on how things work out tomorrow, I may or may not be very busy, so just consider this my early action. Olhas, with the hood of his cloak covering his face, responds to the taunting sahaguin. Aquan:
"Your sharks will be a bit too full with your corpses, I'm afraid! And with that, his lungs unleash an unearthly scream to rival any banshee's voice. Casting a Persistent Ear-Piercing Scream. So, DC 19 Fort save for the two Sahaguin, since I'm assuming they'd be within 35 feet, hopefully. If they succeed on the first save, they'll need to make a second save. If they fail the second, then they'll still be affected fully. A successful set of saves halves the damage and no daze. A failed save, means dazed for a round and take... Sonic Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11 And with that...I'm out for the night! ![]()
![]() Stephen_Evil: "Consider it done..." Olhas speaks quickly, strapping gear tightly to his body as he begins his trek to get to the entrance the crew went through. Right before heading in the "entrance," he pulls a wand from his pouch and taps himself, giving himself the blessings of some magical protection. Mage Armor Just to make sure, basically the group of these sanaguins split in two; one part went through the "puddle" and the other half followed the crew? Is that right? If so... Following the creatures on the trail of the high crew, the human(oid) makes his way after them, giving plenty of distance, in hopes that the ensuing battle will put the enemy in between him and the crew.
