![]() If everyone else is game, Ny'a is up for it. She'll be taking the nexus crystal If we're going to be fighting in more corridors, Ny'a is probably relegated to healing behind Pau, very quickly switching to her wand. If we have combat in more open spaces, Ny'a can contribute more, and if we encounter legit Evil, Ny'a can start to let loose. She is built for mounted charging. If she connects with a charging lance, especially against a creature she can smite, the damage becomes pretty incredible. We may want to have Tere do some investigating, and identify if there's a good charge opportunity for Ny'a. She can blast in for one big hit and then maneuver into continued combat or healing support, as the situation warrants. To that end, I think it might make sense for Tere to use the potion of invisibility. If Tere can scout, inform us, then we quickly implement a plan, Tere can be in position to sneak from invisible and then sneak from flank from there on. ![]()

![]() I recognize that is often true. However, it's going to be missed sometimes, and why introduce the risk? It's a house rule (or house custom, however you want to phrase it); PFS doesn't allow that. It's hurt players at tables I've GMed before (not on purpose; I only noticed it after the fact). It just seems like a bad habit to apply unnecessary penalties to your own rolls; I've never understood why players would do that. ![]()
Female LG Gnome Paladin of Iomedae 5 | HP: 44/44 | AC: 24
![]() FYI, cover provides a bonus to AC, not a penalty to attack rolls. I know people apply it both ways--and quite commonly--but it's REALLY to the players' disadvantage to apply it to attack rolls. If the GM also applies it correctly as a bonus to AC, the player ends up double penalized. The rules are clear that it's an AC bonus, and PFS is supposed to be by the book; we shouldn't be using house rules that flip it into an attack penalty. ![]()
