My PC in that game has the same message for Bonekeep, but they're still listed as a Core character.

Same here (also from this table). I messaged Tyranius today about it.

They will be there; if not now, eventually. I'm keeping a good pace of running two games at a time. I only run scenarios I've played, and I try to always run the scenario in CORE before I run it in Standard. So, as my PCs continue to level up, I'll be offering higher and higher level scenarios, all on these boards, and mostly in CORE first.

I'm just one GM, of course, and two at a time by PbP is a remarkably slow pace, but they will come in time.

Ny'a is the only CORE character I have in tier for a 5-9, and I just spent the PP I had pooled to save her after death; I can't risk her again (she is a favorite of mine).

But thanks so much for the game! The chronicle looks good!

You can't, but you can pay for the restorations in gold and the raise dead with PP--or vice versa--to divide it up if you can afford one more than the other.

Edit: you can:

TABLE 4–2 PRESTIGE POINT COST, Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide, Version 10.0, Chapter 4: Roleplaying Guild Basics, p. 22 wrote:
*You can buy raise dead using 16 PP, 5,450 gp, or 8 PP and 2,450 gp.

The Empyreal Revenant Boon that Ny'a used to remain alive and complete (well...) the adventure also reduces the cost of spellcasting services to restore her to life:

Pathfinder Society Scenario #8-99: The Solstice Scar, Version D wrote:

Empyreal Revenant: Nothing can keep you from achieving your goal. Within 3 rounds of dying, you can check the box that precedes this boon to begin slowly recovering, fueled by a combination of personal determination and supernatural vigor. During this time, you cannot be turned into an undead creature. After 1 minute, you are restored to life per raise dead with half your maximum hit points, gaining no negative levels in the process. If you died as a result of ability damage or drain, you either remove 8 points of that ability damage or remove enough ability drain to return that ability score to 8 (though no higher than your original ability score value). If you died as a result of negative levels, you remove a number of temporary negative levels equal to half your level (rounded up).

At the end of the adventure, your relentless grip on life fails, your body collapses, and you die; this death is not the result of hit point loss and cannot be reversed by effects such as breath of life. The cost of any spellcasting service to restore you to life at the end of that adventure is reduced by 3 Prestige Points for each unique Martyr’s Shard boon this character has earned. If a PC casts a spell to restore you to life at the end of the adventure, instead reduce the material component cost by 1,000 gp for each unique Martyr’s Shard boon this character has earned. emphasis added

Ny'a has three unique Martyr's Shard boons, so her raise dead will be 9 less, reducing her cost to 5+(16-9)=12 PP to be alive. A further 8 for two restorations will remove the negative levels; that's a total of 20 PP. Also, because of Empyreal Revenant, she has to pay this whether or not the Hail Mary works; she'll pay the whole bill on this chronicle.

Do we earn any xp or PP from how far we progressed, or is that all just zero because we died?

Grapple wrote:
If You Are Grappled: If you are grappled, you can attempt to break the grapple as a standard action by making a combat maneuver check (DC equal to your opponent’s CMD; this does not provoke an attack of opportunity) or Escape Artist check (with a DC equal to your opponent’s CMD). If you succeed, you break the grapple and can act normally. Alternatively, if you succeed, you can become the grappler, grappling the other creature (meaning that the other creature cannot freely release the grapple without making a combat maneuver check, while you can). Instead of attempting to break or reverse the grapple, you can take any action that doesn’t require two hands to perform, such as cast a spell or make an attack or full attack with a light or one-handed weapon against any creature within your reach, including the creature that is grappling you. See the grappled condition for additional details. If you are pinned, your actions are very limited.
Conditions wrote:

Grappled: A grappled creature is restrained by a creature, trap, or effect. Grappled creatures cannot move and take a –4 penalty to Dexterity. A grappled creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks, except those made to grapple or escape a grapple. In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform. A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler’s CMB + spell level, see Concentration), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity.

A grappled creature cannot use Stealth to hide from the creature grappling it, even if a special ability, such as hide in plain sight, would normally allow it to do so. If a grappled creature becomes invisible, through a spell or other ability, it gains a +2 circumstance bonus on its CMD to avoid being grappled, but receives no other benefit.

Before the portal

Between the two haversacks available, Ny'a gets everything of use--and not of use--stuffed away, so that it was easier to cart everything around. "We're gonna make it out of here, so it's best if everything's organized. And there's nothing like a good old magic organizer!" she says proudly, cinching the last one tight. She straps one haversack, full of mundane gear, on Deluge, and hefts the other with all her own gear along with all the goodies, on her own back.

"It seems crazy, but I'm freaking dead, and I'm still walking in there. Nothing's crazier than that!" Ny'a's glee is bright and palpable. If I wake up after this, I'll never have to worry about the Bleaching again! What a trip!!!

Bella also has a headband of inspired wisdom +2; Tere and Ny'a both have an open headband slot. Tere, it boosts that Will save and your Perception; both are better boosts for you than Ny'a, so I think Tere should wear that.

Ny'a will carry Bella's +1 light crossbow and +1 returning starknife; they'll both have size penalties, but could fill a need in a pinch.

She'll use Deluge's handy haversack to carry all of her stuff and the extras, so there will be no additional encumbrance penalties. She stuffs everybody's wands, scrolls, potions, and goodberries in the haversack.

Two Blades has a belt of incredible dexterity +2, and both Pau and Tere are both wearing belts; Ny'a will wear this!

Two Blades also has boots of striding and springing; that's +10' enhancement to base speed. Tere, that can help you move around quickly while invisible to scount and get in position.

If everyone else is game, Ny'a is up for it.

She'll be taking the nexus crystal, and she'd like the +2 cloak of resistance, if nobody else needs it. I think Pau or Tere are better off with the +2 cloak. Tere's Will is only +5, and while Ny's has a lower save than Pau's +9 across the board, her other two are higher and Pau is more of the front-line damage dealer.

If we're going to be fighting in more corridors, Ny'a is probably relegated to healing behind Pau, very quickly switching to her wand. If we have combat in more open spaces, Ny'a can contribute more, and if we encounter legit Evil, Ny'a can start to let loose.

She is built for mounted charging. If she connects with a charging lance, especially against a creature she can smite, the damage becomes pretty incredible. We may want to have Tere do some investigating, and identify if there's a good charge opportunity for Ny'a. She can blast in for one big hit and then maneuver into continued combat or healing support, as the situation warrants.

To that end, I think it might make sense for Tere to use the potion of invisibility. If Tere can scout, inform us, then we quickly implement a plan, Tere can be in position to sneak from invisible and then sneak from flank from there on.

However, a few conditions need not be resolved by the end of play, including permanent negative levels, ability drain that does not reduce an ability score to 0, becoming a fallen member of a class that requires an atonement spell to regain class features or spellcasting abilities, and conditions that impose no mechanical effect.

Permanent negative levels, ability drain, and nonmechanical conditions being carried over to the next session should be recorded on the Chronicle sheet.

I don't think you need to pay for the restoration. Temporary level loss is regained through rest, I thought.

You don't technically have to pay for restoration, but they are permanent negative levels. You can choose to continue playing your PC with the negative levels if you really want, but they definitely don't go away with rest.

But it is a fair point that you don't need the 8 pp for restoration immediately. You can pay that any time later, in increments of 4, to remove the negative levels. You'll just take the -1 (x2) penalty to most rolls until you do.

5 pp for body recovery
16 pp for raise dead
4 pp x 2 = 8 pp for two castings of restoration

So, 29 for the whole lot after a TPK. As long as one PC survives, you typically don't need body recovery. If your body isn't whole, it may take resurrection or true resurrection instead. All spells have GP equivalents.

Two out of three votes is enough to make the decision. That said, Ny'a's already going to have to deal with clearing the "dead" condition after this scenario; she's only up and moving due to a chronicle boon. If she dies again, she's in exactly the same situation, so she would vote yes to continuing if there weren't already a consensus to leave. Shoot, maybe we'd finally encounter something evil that she could really sink her strengths into.

tl;dr: sure, let's leave

"You're not wrong!" Ny'a agrees wholeheartedly. "I've freaking died once already... I'm not sure if I want to do it again!"

She waves her wand, though, with a light shrug and a small smile. "But I can make us fresh again!"

Which, of course, she proceeds to do, starting with Harpua before turning to any of the Pathfinders. Ny'a--much to her dismay (though she tries to hide it)--is completely unharmed. "These narrow mazes..." "No room to move..." "F&^#@ng corners..." she's heard to mutter under her breath as she gets everyone back into fighting shape.

Ny'a will use your wand or hers, doesn't matter. Roll and let me know how many charges if you use hers.

Should we do the same with Tere and Ny'a now, so Ny'a can keep her conduit to Iomedae's grace funneled into Pau's lower back? If so, is Tere going to still try to get on the other side (the failure still bounces him back to the square he's currently in, which is still just a move action), or just do the swap?

Iomedae, this only works if you can provide healing as fast as Pau gets hurt! Without this healing, I fear none of us ever leave this place! Though she'd never think of speaking it aloud, Ny'a's internal dialogue begins chastising her patron... for good or ill remains to be seen.

I recognize that is often true. However, it's going to be missed sometimes, and why introduce the risk? It's a house rule (or house custom, however you want to phrase it); PFS doesn't allow that. It's hurt players at tables I've GMed before (not on purpose; I only noticed it after the fact). It just seems like a bad habit to apply unnecessary penalties to your own rolls; I've never understood why players would do that.

FYI, cover provides a bonus to AC, not a penalty to attack rolls. I know people apply it both ways--and quite commonly--but it's REALLY to the players' disadvantage to apply it to attack rolls. If the GM also applies it correctly as a bonus to AC, the player ends up double penalized. The rules are clear that it's an AC bonus, and PFS is supposed to be by the book; we shouldn't be using house rules that flip it into an attack penalty.

Yeah, I'm totally good with that. It's an immediate action, and definitely impacts your posting narrative if she succeeds, so go ahead and make the roll for her.

And yeah, she's not likely to succeed much; I got the feat for the chain, not for its particular effects.

Ny'a can feel Harpua's life flowing away underneath her, but she grits her teeth as she faces the harsh reality: saving anyone here starts with saving Pau. Ready to heal Pau, Ny'a looks down in horror as Harpua is nearly obliterated underneath her. She instinctively sends Iomedae's healing power coursing into the animal, then scrambles for her healing wand, knowing she's probably going to need more than Iomedae can provide.

I moved Pau into a squeezing position with Tere.

Ny'a follows Pau, and considers her options. She obviously wanted to get up on that front line, but the crowded maze-like halls prevented that. So, she made herself ready to do what Pau asked, getting healing in her mind. She stows her shield, but adds an offensive edge to things should she find the opening to take advantage.
