I'm still here but I was last to act in combat no idea who we are waiting on

Nova tries to take down the machines before they have a chance to act again.

to hit: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
damage: 1d6 + 6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 5 = 17
Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14

If this crit hits it's 24 damage, What about my last crit?

Yea that would absolutely one shot me, spending panche point to dodge second attack, still take 50 damage which leaves me at 5hp and 2/3 panache

As the first blow hits Nova takes a step back avoiding the second attack and making the second attack miss.

AoO: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31
Damage: 1d6 + 6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 5 = 14
Crit: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22
if the crit confirms thats 28 damage and my panache back

Nova wasted no time instantly trying to take down the attackers with her rapier.

To hit: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Damage: 1d6 + 6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 5 = 16

-5 damage if they are immune to sneak attack

Init: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Nova began to look for any kind of escape or lock.

perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

My nets back so i should be able to post more sorry about the lack of posts

Nova groaned with annoyance as she awoke.
"Whoever had watch, you are never doing it again."

She stood and drew her weapon ready to be attacked from whatever entrapped them.

Nova would do whatever is asked of her

Nova would follow Hecates example and also have her weapon drawn but let Hecate go first in case of a trap or ambush.

If nothing attacks she speaks.

"We'll need more than just shelter soon, the only other life we've seen was a killer plant, who knows if it cleared out the area of wildlife."

"Trust or no it seem we don't have much in the way of options."

Still here I just don't really know what to post

Nova wasn't sure how well a tree would hold if whatever moving underground decided to emerge but did as she was told if she was able.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22

yea forgot about that,25 damage if critical confirms

critical confirm: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21

If Nova spotted the vine and time allowed she would try to cut the vine with her Rapier as well.

To Hit: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
Damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 +5 damage if not immune to sneak attack

Nova would have started to move to assist but once she saw Damian and Hecate move she would just stay out of the way, still unsure who to trust if anyone.

"We may not last long enough to worry about supplies."

Nova was talking to Gray so outside

"Well Found something it seems, Hey you alive!"

"If we don't find something to go to we won't last long out here."

Nova followed anyway hoping for any kind of settlement or supplies at the very least, she doubted it would be long before the others turn on each other for food.

"It's the only thing we've found besides hills so far, that has to mean something.

To be honest I expected a reflex save

If Nova could hear them or not she would look slightly confused and try to step back over the line.

"So some kind of silence zone, I've seen them before but I don't know how long they last. If any of you use spoken magic it might be best to avoid.

Nova turned around to face the others.

"See it's fine, we are worrying over nothing."

"Well we've only one real way to find out what happens, I'll go."

Nova was getting tired of jumping at everything even slightly out of place, she took a breath and stepped across the line unless stopped.

Nova began to wonder if they how long it be before they found any kind of town much less a non hostile one but she followed along as she had no other real option, she was careful to avoid the gap in the ground as she dredged on.

Most of Nova's life had taken place inside a factory so she had little in the way of stories but she was content to follow and listen to the others, if dishearten that none of them knew of her home.

"I'm from an area called The Spoke, currently in a bad time and in need of me. Have you heard anything of it?"

Nova's face was covered with a mask but her eyes were cold.

"Please refer to me as Nova and nothing else. She tried to make it clear she was expressing her dislike of the term M'lady.

Nova made no attempt to hide but she followed the others quietly, she was lost and confused at the very least she would have water if she followed them.

Nova watched as the two spoke in a language she was unfamiliar with as she tried to decide her next action, seeing as the others had a much better ability to scout than her she would wait for now until she had a better route of action.

Nova kept watching as the others talked and tripped each other, she wasn't able to trust any of them but she didn't have much in the way of options as they were the only information she had at the time.

"South or no we do need a town or at least someone that knows where we are."

Since everyone seemed to have no interest in throwing the first punch Nova would also put her weapon away but was ready to draw it in a moments notice.

She spoke to Roy."You have a friend here? Then you know where we are?"

Nova wouldn't answer the celestial speaking even though she understood,
She mentally marked the speaker as a non threat at least seemed to be as lost as her.

She took up a defensive position and faced the others.

"What happens now?" She asked them collectively.

When Nova awoke she instantly got to her feet and drew her sword, a rapier sharpened on one side to allow for slashing attacks instead of piercing, her hand went to her face black mask was still in it's proper place.

She would look around trying to take in her surroundings and company.

"Where are we?" She demanded from a safe distance if able.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Checking in, currently working on ways to increase my posting rate for all my games so I hope not to disappoint

In the case of the cutlass: Zoey really likes the inspired blade archetype. But she really hates the rapier (I stab it. Again.) when it comes to describing her actions. She didn't ask the question very well, but what she meant was 'can I use a slashing weapon with the same stats as a rapier for all the benefits of inspired blade? I would still be locked to one weapon type, but it wouldn't be 'rapier'.'

He explained it much better than I could sorry about that.

Actually, if you look into it, you'll find that 'rapier' as it's used modernly, isn't what we think of today. Basically, they didn't use the term 'rapier' historically, they just had 'light swords'. Some were only piercing, some were piercing slashing.

Interesting article with pictures

So defining the rapier as a slashing/piercing weapon is perfectly valid historically, and her using it strictly for slashing shouldn't be an issue. :)

I didn't know that but it's cool, nice to know my idea isn't a stretch, thanks for that.

Posting a pretty vague story until I'm sure what age I get and they will basically be the same story edited for the different ages

Final Character Sheet

Industrial Age Story:

With the introduction of the Industrial Age working conditions became harder for the common man and money had become so powerful an outright rebellion was on the edge of forming against the factory workers controlled the entire city. Nova still recalls when she was young her parents would get home at dark with just enough food for them to share and soon even she would be sent to work at a mill.

Years pass by as Nova and her family do what they can to survive, the rebellion is growing as more people try to stand against the corrupt but the Factory owners still manage to control the city.

One day an accident at the factory took the lives of Nova's parents,
She didn't sleep that night; watching out the window as life went by workers came home and no one even seemed to care her life had just been destroyed. How could this happen? She thought to herself as she wiped her eyes. Her family was just barely getting by under the thumb of the corporate giants and now they were gone and all it meant to the rest of the world was a mess to be cleaned.

She heard a knock on the door, when she opened it two men not much older than herself stood in the doorway bearing the mark of the rebellion, they offered their condolence for her loss and a way to make the corrupted face their own demons.

Sorry Didn't have time to post the other two ages, I'll try to get them up later.
