Damian Sol |

Clipping the rods back onto his belt, Damian will reach into his pack and offer Scath a piece of what salted meat. The visor on his helmet rises slowly, and you see the face of a young man with black hair and purple eyes inside as he pops a piece of meat into his mouth. He nods to scath and then the faceplate replaces itself with a hiss of steam.

Scath Lynx |

Scath pins his ears back as the faceplate snaps up, and the feline leaps backwards about 10 feet from a sitting rest, growling. Not a Golem! Golem eaten man? Man eaten Golem? Man Eating Golem?

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

Gray watches the proceedings with light interest. "Maybe not so intelligent benefactor. More of a scaredy cat. Though I can't fault the little guy. That's pretty creepy. Guy had a nice Chirurgeon, all the same. Didn't skimp on the furniture, replaced everything with metal... looks like the stuff may well work -better-." He shakes his head. "Must be another noble of some kind."

Hecate, Quiet Techslinger |

Hecate just continued watching, not especially interested in the play zone that the others seemed so enamored of. It did, however, give her the opportunity to continue surveying the world around her, checking for any kind of civilization... and she was less than pleased with the results. Fortunately, she did have wilderness survival training, and was confident of her ability to at least feed herself if they were stuck here for an extended period of time, so at least there was that.

Agent Pierce Brosnan |

Pierce grumbles to himself standing next to Hecate "lousy civilians sticking their morsels itnto whatever weird, or new little bauble that catches their interest, better go in and babysit, make sure they don't get killed," he says before shaking his head and follows.

Scath Lynx |

Scath is too smart to enter unknown magical environments without a good reason.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

Gray is outside, steadily getting more annoyed at the people inside.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

So he's used to sleeping all the time :P

![]() |

Any chance Bear could catch him? He was next to him, but just out of the zone, because Roy was at the edge.
Rounds of Unconsciousness: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Bear would disappear because you got hit really hard in the head.
Roy, falls limp and begins to roll off the edge into the still part of the river.
Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

Taking 10, twice for 29.
Melee touch attack to grab him, DC 10. Catch?: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
If the cliff is harder than 29, Grey will spend the requisite panache to add a d6 to each. I figure he'd be experienced enough ot know what he can and can't climb without trying exceptionally hard.
Gray, having already been slipping towards the edge as the other cat went aerial... slips over the edge, and calmly snatches him, keeping one hand on the lip. It looks like he's done this a dozen times before, most probably; people go overboard all the time, after all, during storms. It might be significantly hard if the water actually reached that high.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

"A little help, mates? I'm not exactly built for lifting double my body weight. If you wouldn't mind..?" Came a strained voice from over the edge.

Scath Lynx |

Scath shakes his head. Idiot two legs.
He moves to the cliff face, staying outside the circle, to the south of it, and looks over the edge and up the river, to see if anything is below the cliff that just exploded, like a giant mouth waiting for meat to fall into the river.

Agent Pierce Brosnan |

you could make the arguement that they're worse than useless, to get into such a mess pierce draws his weapon at the first sign of danger, then pokes his head in and call "what are the extent of your injuries, are you conscious and capable of movement"

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

If necessary, Gray simply repeats himself.

Hecate, Quiet Techslinger |

Strength: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Hecate sighed a bit as she walked over, reached down, grabbed, and began lifting upwards. She wasn't even one of those bulky soldiers - modern technology allowed for extremely light loads - but it was the job of soldiers to help civilians get out of the problems they got themselves into, even if they were going overboard on the mods...

Damian Sol |

Damian will turn when he hears the explosion. Seeing Gray struggle with the body, he will hustle over and grab Roy's body, picking it as though it had no weight. He will walk back into the center of the clearing and set him down gently.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

With Hecate's help, slipping back over the edge is much easier, especially after Damian snatches Roy back over the edge. He nodded slightly to Damian in acknowledgement.
He turned his attention back to Hecate. "Thanks for that, Miss..?" He asked as he dusted himself off.
To clarify, are you taking the unconscious cat back into the middle of the death circle? :P

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

"Yeah. Apparently something wants us dead." he eyes the exploded area warily.

Scath Lynx |

Scath scratches behind his ear. Stupid two-legs, was warned...

Hecate, Quiet Techslinger |

Hecate blinked slightly. "An area was obviously strange, you waltzed right in... and complain when something goes wrong?" she asked. She'd never learned to get along with other people - most of her society was like that - and her responses were fairly to-the-point. "How about next time you don't play around in areas you aren't sure are safe?" She glanced towards the markings on the ground. Sigh. With that, she moved back away from the area, returning to her scan for trouble and danger.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

"Love... he's unconscious. He can't hear a word you're saying. Of course, telling a guy that just woke up after being blown up he was stupid to get himself blown up probably isn't the best way to warm an injured heart, but that's something for you to decide. The important part is that so far, we've met only hostilities... aside from within our group. Which is a bad sign.
He looked towards the water, where the cat was looking. "We all woke up around the same time. An eye spotted us when we got here, we followed the obvious path and found a mine of some kind. I haven't spotted any large wildlife since we got here, though I can't say I'd be able to spot anything smaller if I tried..." he shook his head. "But what we can say is that we haven't exactly been warmly welcomed. Flat out abandoned, I'd say... aye?"
Strange. She still hasn't shared her name. At least the other lady gave us a fake name.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

"Not that I don't think he already addled before, but if any of you lot is a doctor, it looks like he took a pretty nasty blow to the head. Might wanna have a look-see?" He steadily looked from person to person.

Damian Sol |

With a loud hiss of steam, Damian will remove his helmet, to get a better look at the injured catman. Making several adjustments on his right gauntlet, it begins to glow with energy. Reaching out and gently touching Roy, his wounds begin to close.
Repair Flesh: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 3) = 9
Wow, a whopping 4 hp of healing.

Hecate, Quiet Techslinger |

"...Those are bad, yes." Hecate agreed, nodding slightly. Even modern medicine, powerful as it was, had limited aid to give people whose brains had been rattled around too much. Ah, she was already missing her tech... but at least, unlike those civilians, she was trained to not totally rely on it at all times.

Damian Sol |

As Roy still has not regained consciousness, Damian will apply more glowing energy to him to heal him.
3d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 4) = 13
That's another 6 healing.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

Gray watches the proceedings. "Guess he was the Chirurgeon, then. Good to know they sent us a Cleric, at least. Kind of. Would be nice if we understood each other. It'll be bad to tell him your head hurts and him give you something for nausea."

Scath Lynx |

Scath stays a little away from the human eating golem, in case it decides to try feline flesh next. As the catfolk wakes up from his unconsciousness, the cat snorts. Give cats bad name...

Scath Lynx |

Scath suddenly growls and begins clawing at the grass next to his rear leg, which seems to be caught in something from the way he moves.
Attack, Claw: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
Attack, Claw: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20
Attack, Bite: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
Damage claw 1: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Damage claw 2: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Damage Bite: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Bleed, if both claws hit, and can bleed: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

If it doesn't bleed, can Scath still kill it? :P
Morisson looks over in the cat's general direction. "He's having some sort of trouble..."
For the first time, Gray unsheathes one of his axes, unsnapping a buckle that previously held it in place as he does so. The axe immediately begins to glow with the same green glow one sees in a cat's eyes in near-darkness. He moves over to investigate.
