You all wake up in the morning to find everything in place, but the cave has become a room made of bronze. A large bronze door is where the opening used to be, and another, smaller door where the back of the cave was. Two humanoid statues stand on either side of the door.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

After a long, good night's rest, Gray rises, and stretches... taking a bit more time than is necessary to do so. The whole thing was very reminiscent of a cat. He patently ignored the brass surrounding himself... or bronze... or whatever one wanted to call it. It was no different from the day prior.

Hecate, Quiet Techslinger |

Hecate said something common on a military base, but generally considered rude to say in public outside of places like that. Wasting no time at all, she grabbed - and checked - her weapon, then looked at both the statues and the rest of the cave as she checked for traps, problems, unusually-colored bits, and anything else that seemed out of the ordinary.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27

Damian Sol |

Rising earlier than the majority of the party and staying as out of view of the party as possible, Damian climbs into his armor.
Basically, he doesn't want anyone to know that he can't walk.

Agent Pierce Brosnan |

"To be fair there was something magical going on, I saw the scrying sensor and was overcome with a wave of drowsiness too thick to be natural, didn't have time to wake anyone up"
and you wouldn't have done any better given that you have the same will save bonus as me

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

"Let's not be hasty. Anyone who's willing to let me sleep through the night and doesn't get us killed has done a fine job, I'd say. Now, the real question is... What kind of game is being played here..? Gray doesn't even stop his stretching as he speaks.

Agent Pierce Brosnan |

"Perhaps a psych ops intended to make us doubt reality?" The secret agent offers the first plausible possibility that entered his mind.
"Though why that would be used on us I have no idea so it's far from a certainty"

Damian Sol |

"Clearly this is a Nimgraenese trick. I must have been captured, and likely you as well, by them."

Damian Sol |

"They are an enemy that we have managed to beat back time and again. They believe in the superiority of magic and that technology is a waste of time. When I was a boy, they wiped out my family while they were having dinner. I was trapped in my lab in the basement for nearly a week before someone dug me out.
My people have been at war with them ever since. Before I came...here, my people were sieging their capitol city. I assume that the Nimgraenese managed to capture me and this is some sort of magical illusion. I'm just unsure where you all fit in."

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

If there's no source of light in the room, currently, Gray is holding one of his axes, which is casting off the cat-eye colored light.

Scath Lynx |

Scath wriggles back into his armor, trying to be quiet as possible. He sniffs at the bronze, to see if it's real, or if it's illusion.

Hecate, Quiet Techslinger |

Hecate continued to wait as she slowly scanned the chamber, continuing to search for emerging threats or anything else that might be a danger to the civilians. Somebody had to be on guard duty, after all... and she could already hear her drill instructor yelling at her if she didn't do things right.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

Gray, bored, heads for the doors and throws them open without ceremony, though, with his nonglowing axe in hand, he's certainly ready to retaliate at against any sudden threats.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

Gray rolls his eyes.

Scath Lynx |

Scath sneaks around the statues, seeing if they notice him.
Stealth: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (6) + 17 = 23

Hecate, Quiet Techslinger |

Hecate also slowly made her way forward, looking over the statues as part of her examination. "Is anybody here trained in disabling dangerous objects?" she asked mildly, looking around their... surprisingly furry group. In particular, her gaze had moved towards Damian - he seemed the most likely to have such talents.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

"That'd be a no, for my part." Gray shrugs. Infiltrating ships was notoriously lacking in traps.

Agent Pierce Brosnan |

The secret agent shakes his head no before trying to talk to the machines, both for it's own sake and to give the cat a better shot "can you speak? Or at least understand what I'm saying? If you can understand me could you just shake your head yes?" If he gets no response he tries again in every language he knows.

Damian Sol |

Watching the react, Damian removes a set of tools and begins looking for the platform or tripwire that activates the traps.
"There's some sort of device here. Tell them to stay back while I work on it."
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18
Disable Device if I spot the trap: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34

Scath Lynx |

Once on the other side of the statues, Scath sniffs at the door, examining it carefully and warily.
Stealth: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (10) + 17 = 27
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24 Scent, LowLight, Darkvision

Scath Lynx |

Scath sniffs at the closest statue from behind, examining it carefully and warily.
Stealth: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (2) + 17 = 19
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30 Scent, LowLight, Darkvision

Damian Sol |

Damian says something and then proceeds between the statues towards the door.
"I think it was a one-time trap."

Hecate, Quiet Techslinger |

"...I don't suppose we could just push them open?" Hecate inquired as she carefully moved forward, glancing around to see if she could spot anything else that might be a control of sorts.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

Meanwhile, bored of staring down the sentinels, Gray begins to look over the room, examining things in detail. The statues, walls, floors, ceilings, torches, how the torches are connected, if there is any furniture... the list goes on.

Hecate, Quiet Techslinger |

Yawning slightly, Hecate approached one of the buttons. "Found something." she told the others, giving them time to back away (or stay in place, whatever they wanted) before she pushed one of the buttons.

Scath Lynx |

Back from travelling finally.

Hecate, Quiet Techslinger |

Initiative: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
I regret nothing.
The girl spun around as fast as she could, her weapon coming up and letting out a roar as she targeted the closest enemy and fired a pair of powerful shots through the air. The first one was a heck of a lot better aimed than the second, but hopefully both of them would be enough to hit.
Ranged Attack (vs Touch): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 for Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 If enough, Crit Damage: 4d8 + 4 ⇒ (5, 3, 2, 4) + 4 = 18
Ranged Attack (vs Touch): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12 for Damage?: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
...And her hands almost blurred as she reloaded her weapon, sliding another pair of cartridges into it to help ensure it was as ready as it could possibly be. She did not want to run out of bullets in the middle of combat.

Morrison 'Gray' Monroe |

Init: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Gray was more interested in the details of the room they were in, given how sparse it seemed to be. Was it decorated as if it were intended as a prison, or a treasury, or an antechamber, or...
Then he heard the door opening. He turned to see what the sound was, and didn't seem to notice that the statues were readying to attack.

Scath Lynx |

Init: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Scath practically flickers as he goes from sniffing to baring fangs as the statues move.
Note, he's actually behind the statues, unlike everyone else, and provides flank.
