I was looking through my friends Pathfinder Companion book: Taldor, Echoes of Glory and it has a map of Oppara but doesn't have an indicator showing how big the city is. It also does not give the demographic information on the city either.

I was wondering if someone from Piazo or with knowledge of this information could present it here for me please. I have an idea for Taldor and Oppara specifically and really could use this information to help with my planning for an adventure there.

Thanks

In the PRD it states: "Vampires cannot enter a private home or dwelling unless invited in by someone with the authority to do so."

My question is what is considered a private home or dwelling? Is a inn a private dwelling, is a business a private dwelling, or is a temple a private dwelling?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I just want to thank you for your piece on Magic Item Creation. I found it very insightful and useful and plan on using what I learned from it.

It is just a shame that I did not know you had your own Website or I would of gone to it sooner. I am now kicking myself for not looking sooner.

Keep up the good work been a big fan for some time now and thank you once again.

I was reading this due to me just starting a Magus and as one of the prerequisites it requires Weapon Expertise as a class feature. What classes have that as a class feature?

I am wondering if I am missing something or if this was a typo?

Thanks in advance.

I am working on a idea but while doing research I found an item with the name I was going to use for mine. The item doesn't do what mine does.

I was wondering should I change the name of it or is it okay to use the name, will it deduct from my item?

I was just looking for a area that might be available for an idea I had and was wondering is the island east of Nex and Katapesh currently occupied by anything such as a city, village, or anything else of note? If not it would be perfect for my idea for it fits into that area pretty well I think.

Just curious who have bought the past winners modules and what did you all think of it?

I myself haven't bought any yet, but then again I did just start lurking around the boards on a regular basis just after round one winners were announced.

That and the module from last year is a bit to high level for my gaming group currently.

I would just like to wish everyone who entered this year the best of luck. Win or lose I pledge to remain here and support those who make it to the next round. Just remember we are all winners.

I have noticed a few things in my first attempt at RPG Superstar.

1. How helpful the boards were.
2. How I tended to always fall back to my original idea.
3. How I tended to over think things.
4. It takes practice.
5. Last but not least, how long a month really is.

Plan on practicing archetypes, continue looking for work :(, eat lots, spend time with family and friends, and last but not least relax. Not necessarily in that order.

Just curious and wanted to change the subject of the hottest debate.

I have kind of started on round two in hopes of advancing, thinking positive :) Any way I have several ideas and kind of started working through the process which I am finding rather entertaining and enlightening.

So how many others have started and how is it going so far?

Now when submitting your item does you name and avatar appear with this item or does only the information you place in the Wondrous Item box and the Description box appear? For I noticed that above those boxes was my avatar and name even though I didn't place my name or personal information in those boxes. Thanks for the quick answer.

This may be answered elsewhere but I didn't recognize these abbreviations and was wondering what they meant, any help would be appreciated for I have seen these thrown around in past threads discussing wondrous item from past competitions.

I have been reading these threads and have read past submissions and the ones that have been successful have basically kept to the same rule.

Keep it simple stupid or KISS. I have been working on my writing for some time now and I tend to keep getting the same advice over and over and that is "keep it simple stupid."

I plan on trying my hand in the RPG Superstar contest and hope to get past the first round and if I do I plan on taking the advice given be it good or bad to better my writing. I hope this simple advice helps others in their quest for glory in this unique but very helpful contest. Good luck to all of you and thank you Paizo for putting this contest together.

I was thinking of starting up some type of monthly or bi-monthly PFS event in Dubuque, Iowa and was wondering if there was interest both in playing and in GMing.

So if interested please post and if there is interest then I will get it started.

Thanks

I was just curious if lets say you were a rogue/wizard could you use shocking grasp and then on the next round strike with a rapier or dagger and add the shocking grasp damage?

I was just wondering do I need to pick a faction or can I say my character is avoiding the politics part of this and I am in pathfinder to better mankind?

Just curious is all.

I am planning on starting an organized event in my area and would like some advice and tips on how to go about doing that.

I already know how to go about reporting and signing up the event. I also have an idea for a place to hold the event but would still like advice on where you hold your events.

1. Do you have to purchase several copies of the scenario being run...
2. Making sure you have enough GM's for the event...
3. How do you get the word out to individuals who might be interested in your event...
4. How long should your event be set up for...
5. How often should you hold your event, Weekly, monthly, or yearly...
6. Any other helpful tips or advice...

Thank you

Ok, I would like to start Organized play in our area so would like to set up an event and I am looking for Tips and advice on how to go about doing this.

1. Finding a place to hold the event...
2. Attracting individuals to the event...
3. Making sure I have enough GM's to run enough events to cover the numbers that show up for the event...
4. Do we need to purchase multipule copies of the scenarios we are going to be running at the event?
5. Any other tips or advice to running an event...

I have already figured out how to report the event and how to sign up the event. I also have a idea for a place to hold the event but would still like input on where others may hold there events.

Thanks

I just bought the Crypt of the Everlame, Masks of the living God, and City of Golden Death. My Question is what level will my party of 3-6 players be when they finish City of Golden Death?

Just trying to figure it all out so I know what I should be looking for when they finish it.

Thanks

Sorry last link didn't want to work for some reason.

Here is the deal, at 1st level my wizard took bonded item and as his 1st level feat took improved familiar.

First question:
Can you take improved familiar feat if you have a bonded item?

Second Question:
If you have a bonded item at 1st level when I hit like say 7th level would I then be able to get a familiar like a Psuedodragon?

Thanks

I have a good question for debate.

Ok, as a 1st level wizard you choose a bonded item and as your feat you choose Improved familiar.

First is one even able to take the Improved familiar feat?

Second if so does that open a window at a higher level to obtain a familiar, like lets say a Pseudodragon even though you have a bonded item as a wizard?

Ok, my first post here so please be kind...

We are about to start a campaign where we are going to play the offspring of one of our Old Heroic Characters. I have decided it is going to be a child of a Wizard/Rogue I played back in the day of D&D 2nd edition.

My question to you is as follows: How does magic affect one's offspring?

The reason I ask this is my Mage/Rogue was rez'd several times in fact to may times to explain. But during this process he was brought back as several different Races(Started as a Elf, was a Satyr, Halfling, Minatar, to name a few and ended as a Elf again). He also lost his original body in Ravenloft to Strahd, again don't ask. He was also the first one to gain the ability to use Wild Magic in our Campaign be it NPC or PC.

I figure all this has messed him up a bit including how it would affect his offspring. I was thinking that his offspring would be a Tiefling but then I could be way off base here so any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
