![]() A large portion of the Paizo TTRPG community is on socials such as twitter, but like myself a year ago, many aren't. With the recent announcement of numerous Paizo employees asking for a seat at the table in their own house of work, I think it's important to share their words here. "We, the Paizo workers, recognize that workplace issues shouldn’t be management’s responsibility to solve in a vacuum, and we want to have a seat at the table for discussions on our working conditions and livelihoods. We believe our support is invaluable to management as we all work to make Paizo the best it can be. For this reason we, the United Paizo Workers (UPW), are invoking our right to organize and administer a vote to form a union. We are working closely with Communications Workers of America (CWA), who have helped organize and represent other workers in the entertainment and gaming industries. We want Paizo and the products we make together to be successful, and to nurture a positive work environment for all staff. We believe that our union is the best avenue with which we as employees can help management achieve that." I fully support the Unionization of Paizo, and would love to reinstate my subscriptions if Paizo voluntarily recognizes this.

![]() Hello Sara, Diego, Raychael, or which ever unfortunate soul chooses this post. I would just like to do a wellness check on the skitters that I adopted on April 24th. The adoption papers for them have been signed since, but I have yet to get them integrated into their skitter MLM program. It's to let them help other skitters help other skitters, and other skitters until the top skitter, kinda like a triangle of All-Six :) I am completely fine with waiting on them, I know that shipping and starship flying isn't the smoothest right now. Darn Gap acting up. I just wanted to check on their well being and make sure they didn't get lost in space. Thank you :) ![]()

![]() What a wonderful list of new appointments, for previous and now current members. The team being able to continue producing content, and being around to support events, from smaller cons to the big ones has allowed us to gain some great community members. I think this community has both literally and figuratively saved many of our table mates this year, and has left it marked with some great times. Looking forward to seeing what you all have in store for 2021! Thanks again for continuing to do what you do, and enable our community to make memories. ![]()
![]() I will keep this brief. As a community, especially in the Organized Play region, there have been many peer calls to leave reviews for adventures, or regular releases. We especially saw this with LO Legends. While it's easy to direct someone to the link where they can leave reviews, it isn't very intuitive for a couple of reasons. One of these being that the link to click to review a product is hidden in the line of another sentence. Secondly, the link color of dark blue fails to contrast the black of the rest of the words. This makes it more difficult for parties looking to provide feedback. If an individual is less invested in offering their opinion, as well as having a hard time figuring the system out, they may choose to abort. I fully feel that this may lead to an increased percentage of negative reviews, as we know people are prone to persist out of dislike moreso than an affinity or indifference; furthermore, decreasing the total number of prospective responses. If possible, could we look at making this process easier, and more noticeable/intuitive? Thanks for your time! ![]()
![]() Good morning/evening/do we even know what time is anymore?! Hello fellow Pathfinders! This is a little bit of a suggestion/put the hive mind to work post. As you all know PaizoCon Online is coming up (eek) and that means us GMs better get our booties in gear and finish up prep. As I was doing this a thought popped into my head. Now stick with me, I am not one that is great at complining info and putting it into the most organized format. I have my system, and it works for me, but user friendly is a skill I am working on! A lot of us, by choice or need, have been playing our society games on VTTs lately, personally I use Roll20 for my games. As a result, I purchased the Bestiary on there, and I love the amount of time that I can save when I read a scenario, recognize an NPC is in the book (yay) can drag it out, and have the stats ready to go! It really makes it easy on a gal, and that time saved is more than worth the cost of the resource. However, ultimately, there will be a lot of NPCs that aren't straight from the book. I was wondering if we could consider noting in adventures when a monster is from one of the Bestiaries, or maybe if it is *reeeaally* close to one (like you could pull the stat block and mod one or two things), to help our VTT, and maybe even nonVTT friends locate it somewhere else in a pinch. Also reaching out to the community to see if anyone has an interest in working as a team to maybe compile a reference list of already printed adventures. For example PF2e 1-11 has some friends with a 'bone' to pick with PCs ;) , but they have one extra goodie that isn't on the stat block. If you've read this far I have taken enough of your time already, thank you. |
