Guys, I'm actually going to have to pull out of this game. The format just isn't working for me. I hope you guys have a good time.
Stop this! We don't want to have to hurt you! yelled Naima. "Go away and we won't chase you."

Naima I understand you don't care to write as much RP as the others, but I do need as a minimum for you to be more clear on the mechanical detail. I assume you were thrusting with the rapier, and are dealing lethal damage. I see no reason why your attack is a sneak attack - the drunk can see you and is 'in combat' at the start. Also, I need to know what square you are moving to.
I'm unable to describe what square I'm moving to since I can't see a map. Am I missing a map link somewhere?
In terms of the sneak attack, I believed him to be flat footed because it was the start of combat. I understand your ruling, it's just different than I have seen.
In terms of the lack of roleplay, I'm just really struggling to get into this format. I feel like I'm roleplaying in response to a block of text, while normally I see what happens as roleplaying in response to posts by other people. I've been trying my best to push through this discomfort and give the format a chance, but I'm finding it difficult. I hope that this is just a temporary issue, and that you can be patient with me while I work on this.
edit: oh, there's the map. I was looking in your documents that advanced the story and in the campaign header. I'll know where to look from now on. The square you put me in is fine, especially if you're not considering the enemy flat footed.
Naima climbed out of the boat and attacked the first thug. positioning in a way that makes flanking next turn easy...
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
critical confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
damage, sneak attack: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4
critical damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Naima listened to the captain's instructions to go below. She sat calmly, singing songs of praise to Desna under her breath. Only someone very close would be able to hear. It was comforting to her to know that her wandering was being watched over.
fort save: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 1 + 2 = 19
When Naima saw the kindly merchant being bullied, she wanted to help. She looks around carefully to try to understand the situation.
perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
"They're drunk!" Naima called out to the others on the boat. "Cut it out, you drunk hooligans!" she yells to the thugs.
Naima smiled at the merchant. "Can you tell me anything about the political situation where we are going?"
Naima smiled at the merchant. "I am Naima. By profession, I make traps and locks. I'm not sure how much demand there will be around here, but I'm willing to work hard and I'm sure I'll find something to do. I also know my way around a light sword.
action 1:
fort save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Naima was surprised that the merchant would travel if the sea bothered him so much. She was so anxious for a sight of her new home! She looked around her, looking for someone who looked approachable or friendly.
With the new format, may we still dot and delete from gameplay so the notifications in my campaign work properly?
Naima is complete. I might want to tweak her background slightly to relate to other characters' back stories.
In terms of the format, I'm a little doubtful, but I'd be happy to give it a try. I'm just concerned that it might reduce the back-and-forth between characters a little.

Can I please ask you to expand your skill modifiers for me. I like to see how they stack up, eg how you get to +8 Perception (presumably +2 WIS, +3 class skill, +1 rank, +2 ???).
Thanks! I will certainly do this, as well as filling in the background. I meant to be much further on than I am with this character, but Paizo.com has been down a lot, and it seems I have bad timing of when to try to work on this.

OK guys, I think I'm out. This was fun, but it's been about a month that things have been at a standstill. We just started the first combat, so I'm going to bow out of this one. Thanks, and happy gaming to all.
We've been missing our GM for about 3 weeks. Has anyone heard anything by PM? I hope he's OK; I know he mentioned health issues a few weeks ago.
I'm back. An elderly family member was diagnosed with cancer that cannot be treated, a few weeks to live. My posting may be a little spotty, and I may disappear again, but I'm here for now.
sorry guys, real life ongoing emergency. Please bot as needed; OK to use spells and consumables if needed.
Naima prays to Horus for a moment. Eerikki feels a sense of blessing.
Using Blessing of the Faithful. Eerikki, you get +2 on either AC, saves, skills, or ability checks. Given the situation, I assume you take it on saves, but your choice. It lasts for 1 round, but I can renew it each round as my standard action.
Naima also moves a bit away from the swarm, while staying close enough to help Eerikki. moved on roll20 map as indicated.
Naima quietly tells the others "I don't think I can do anything about the bees either, but if any of you can, let me give you Horus's blessing first." She also steps back a bit from the hive.
Naima walks quietly behind those who carry the body, trying to show respect for a lost life.
Naima is content right now to quietly follow the others. She waits to see what the mother's reaction to them is.
Naima nods to Nik'olo. His plan sounds like it should work. Then she looks at Bjorn. Perhaps I should go with you? If you find the girl and she has been injured, I should be able to tend to her quickly.
Naima smiles at the man. "Yes, I am indeed a servant of the great Horus. I know he is not much known by that name around here. I hope to find out what name he does use here. It's unfortunate that Brother Arkadi isn't able to talk to me about such things."
kn. religion: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
What does Naima know about the deities mentioned? Taking 10 on knowledge religion if allowed, giving 15.
Naima asks the villager, "Who did Brother Arkadi serve when he was well? And can you tell us more about the recent tragedies you mentioned?"
Naima frowns at Bjorn's rather harsh (to her mind) tone to the villager. "Could you please tell us who acts as your village's leader?" she asks the villager in a calm, gentle voice.
Naima agrees to Ashekara's suggestion. After all, in a small town, very often a religious leader is also the town's leader.
Perhaps we should try to find the town's leaders? So far, it's only the children who have noticed us.
Naima smiles gently as she sees the horde of children descend on them. She may be feeling confused and disoriented, but children can always make her smile. As her confusion grows, she grips her holy symbol, reaching for the one thing that feels solid in a kaleidoscope world.
I'm here. Just so everyone knows, Naima is useless in combat except for buffing others (or emergency healing), so it would be good to know who is best to spend those buffs on.
Shady, I'm still interested, but having bad internet issues as part of a move. Only internet is on phone. Expect problem to only last a few more days
pdf uploaded to the google drive folder you shared.
Shady, I used PCgen to make my character, and it does not support Midgard. In order to get around this, I had to create my character as a cleric of no deity and use a GM boon option to get a feat for the proficiency with Horus's sacred weapon. Also, PCgen does not know about the blessing of the faithful ability. I've cleaned this stuff up in the profile. Would you rather:
1. I send you a pdf character sheet, which will have the above problems. Also, PCgen's character sheets aren't quite standard.
2. I send you a txt file exported from PCgen, which will have the above problems and look like a stat block
3. You use the cleaned up output in the character profile. I believe I have listed the names of the feats and traits, so it should be easy to reconstruct the character from this. Probably easier than using the goofy character sheet.
