The Tengu moves forward to cast a spell throwing a sharp stone towards the Weak Zombie.

Mrs. Crinkle steps between the two zombies that have converged on her, snapping her jaws and flinging a meaty paw at the zombie with cyan-colored fungi covering half its body.

This post is a bit confusing, but it seems to indicate that all of us except Alice are/were up. I'm guessing DoubleGold is still posting from a phone, where typos are easier to make and more annoying to fix.

"Dead things should stop moving!" Mrs. Crinkle cries. Her voice deepens as her body suddenly begins to grow. Silvery fur sprouts all over her skin, a snout sprouts from her face, and her petite frame now towers above everyone in the group*. Unfortunately, her blood red sweater dress doesn't grow with the rest of her. Instead, the slipknots holding the odd-looking bunches untie, but even that amount of extra give isn't enough. The cute little old lady has turned into a large bipedal wolf in an obscenely itsy-bitsy red minidress. It's a darn good thing she's covered in fur!

* Size change is just for flavor. She goes from a petite medium creature to a maxed-out medium creature.

Mrs. Wolfy Crinkly bounds toward the zombie that Alice started pummeling, tongue lolling over gleaming white teeth. Skidding to a halt, she snaps at the zombie, attempting to trip it, then punches it for good measure. "Yuck! This salad's gone bad!"

Mrs. Crinkle's Exploration Activity was Defend, so she has her shield raised at the start of combat. AC 23 for now.

Society DC 18 to Recall Knowledge: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Mrs. Crinkle doesn't know anything that hasn't already been said, so she focuses on Urwal's letter. "Ooo! It's a finding game! I know! Let's make it a contest! Everyone else has to buy a drink for whoever finds the lantern first. I'll warn you: that prize sounds mighty fine to me! Heehee!" A curious thought pops into her head: Ooo, I wonder how it warps the primal energies. Will it have an effect on me? ... Nah! Mine's alchemical--heehee!

Mrs. Crinkle would like to purchase 2 minor healing potions for a total of 8 gp, if that's possible.

Mrs. Crinkle's eyes light up as Tiger approaches. "Ooo, tall and handsome! My kind of guy! Welcome, Tiger dearie. Rawr! Heehee!" She giggles and gives him a wink before turning back to the briefing.

“Signals sent through the root networks tree pollen and the like. Excellent for making sure a warning gets out but not for specifics, like the nature of a threat. Sorry I don’t know what you’ll face there Tieri.”

"OooOoo! A mystery! Be ready for anything, dearies! Say, what sorts of things are normally there? Regular beasties? Abominations? Do the undead stray there often? We want to be prepared! Heehee!" Mrs. Crinkle rubs her hands together gleefully, as if this is all a game.

Lesser Healing Potion for my provision.

"Ooo! Heehee! Mrs. Crinkle's finally here, dearies!" A plump, petite elderly human woman bustles into the room, vigorously shaking everyone's hands with a surprisingly firm grip. A glint of chainmail peeks out from under her absolutely ridiculously enormous blood-red sweater dress, which is gathered and tied in random lumpy bunches all over to keep it from falling right off her and to prevent her from tripping on it.

(Imagine Mrs. Claus wearing a large, lumpy blanket for a dress.)

When she greets the leshies, she coos: "Oh, hello, dearies. I just love your descriptive names! I chose my name for the crinkles around my eyes when I smile. Heehee!"

She brushes her hands together, getting down to business. "Now, what exactly did their distress signal say?"

"Ooooo why, yes! Heehee!" Mrs. Crinkle exclaims, shrinking down to her normal size and gathering bundles of her dress in her arms. Her plump arms flap comically as she deftly ties the excess bunches into the slipknots with a bit more flair than usual. "That sounds lovely, dearie! Perhaps I can visit sometimes, and we can trade tales of the pranks we've pulled. I have some amusing anecdotes about chamber pots. Heehee! What do you say?" She turns to the Pathfinders to see if they agree.

As her teammates pummel Tonta, Mrs. Wolfy Crinkle begins showing off her shopping cart dance. In her head, it looks like this, but it comes out more like this.

"AAAAAAAWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! We've got the moves! Heehee!"

Either way, Mrs. Crinkle was going to make it a little bit of both. ;D

"Heeheehee!" Mrs. Crinkle giggles as she swells into a silver-furred wolf once again. She flashes a quick sultry pose in her ridiculously-itsy-bitsy sweater dress, then lunges forward to snap and swipe at Tonta.

Of note: The "Area Map" linked in the campaign header isn't the battle map for this fight. The correct map is "Tactical Map", linked in GM Tiger's combat posts.

"Ooo! Heehee!" Mrs. Crinkle does a little dance of joy (ironic, isn't it?) as she bustles to the fighting ring. She makes a point to stand beside Norbwald she she can "prepare" by helping him try to find the bottom of his flask.

It's not all fun and games. She straps her shield onto her arm and does some stretching. "Old muscles get tight easily. It's hard to party when you're hobbling from a pulled hamstring, dearies. Heehee!"

She's as ready as she can be without pre-raging.

"Why not both! Dance and fight at the same time! Heehee!" Mrs. Crinkle takes a deep pull from Norbwald's bag and passes it back to him. "Ooo, that's mighty fine! Puts the fire in me--hoo! Now, I suggest a good ol' fashioned brawl, with bonus points for anyone who does a little dance while they're fighting. That may be a little too complicated to pull off on short notice, but wouldn't it be fun? Heehee!"

Mrs. Crinkle votes for fighting, but she's going to do some dancing too, one way or another.

Mrs. Crinkle gives a rousing lecture to a bunch of fresh-faced, wet-behind-the-ears Pathfinder initiates. Most of the time is spent gleefully recounting her chamberpot pranks during her many missions.

Unfortunately, the senior PFS member who's in charge of paying her only pays her for the tiny portion that was "professional". Pooh!

"Ooo, I'm all for good pranks, too, as long as no real harm is done. Heehee!" She reaches into the folds of her sweater dress and offers a hard caramel wrapped in paper. "Candy for your thoughts? Lay it on us, Mimiko! Heehee!"

"Ooo! A party! I dearly love parties! Well, Mimiko and Kenta, we're pleased as punch to meet you! I'm Mrs. Crinkle, and these folks and I are from the Pathfinder Society. We've been trying to catch up to a tanuki like yourself so we can have a little chat with him. He's been pulling some fabulous pranks in our Maze, but they've been causing too much harm." Here she leans in conspiratorially. "--But I'd love to pick his brain for some less dangerous prank ideas. Heehee!"

"Alrighty kiddos, time for teamwork! I'll hoist one of you up on my shoulders for a better look around. Who wants a boost? I promise no funny business. Heehee!" Mrs. Crinkle pantomimes tickling the feet of an imaginary person on her shoulders.

Athletics to Aid whoever wants to ride on her shoulders, base DC 15: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 1 = 17
If using Athletics isn't okay, we can switch to Fortitude, which has the same modifier.

"Ooo, the drifts are taller than me! Heehee!" Mrs. Crinkle jumps up and down, trying to see where to go.

It's a good thing she has no aspiration to play basketball; her vertical jump is barely existent.

"Snowball fight! Heehee!" Mrs. Crinkle scoops up handfuls of snow and chucks them at her teammates as she bounds after Savan's much longer strides. Snow collects on her blood-red sweater dress in clumps.

"Ooo! This is exciting! Heehee!" Mrs. Crinkle widens her peepers to spot the changes the moment they begin to shift.

Mrs. Crinkle flashes Savan a grin and a thumbs up, then hikes up her bulgy skirt to tiptoe past the witch's hut. Her lips quiver, pressed tightly together, trying to suppress her giggles.

Glancing back over her shoulder, Mrs. Crinkle can't help but giggle at the sight of the statue tripping her teammates. Even so, she can't let a hunk of rock defeat these kids. She loops back and does a jig around the statue to give the others a chance to get away. "Go on, boys! I'll distract it! Looky-see! Looky-see! Big fat statue can't trip me! Heehee!"

Acrobatics DC 16: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

The others pull Mrs. Crinkle away from the fey music. "Oh, pooh, dearies! I was having a ball. Heehee!" But once she's beyond earshot, she spots the large statue trying to sweep Zelphari off his feet. "Ooo! Heehee! Too slow for meee!" She taunts as she dashes by.

"Now, where's that little prey doggy? Heehee?"

"Whee!" Mrs. Crinkle spins and dances to the music, dancing with all the grace of a galumphing hippopotamus. Her baggy sleeves swing this way and that, granting peeks of her prodigious bingo wings flapping within them. "Heehee!"

It seems she's forgotten about the chase.

"Shhh!" Mrs. Crinkle urges everyone but herself as she drifts toward the sound of fey music.

Stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

It seems she's forgotten about the presence of the carnivorous plants. Perhaps that fey music is more enchanting than one would expect.

Mrs. Crinkle will get distracted by the fey music and want to check out that party unless the party goes the other way or convinces her otherwise. Bribing her with alcohol is always an option. ;)

Mrs. Crinkle's eyes twinkle as she tiptoes through the carnivorous tulips.

She's *almost* quiet enough, but the chainmail under her sweater dress gives her away. That and her muttered: "Oh, poo! Heehee!"

"Oops! Heehee!" Mrs. Crinkle exclaims after bumping into Norbwald. "You're not my prey! Where'd it go? Heehee!" She glances around, trying to make sense of where a path might be before dashing off in another direction with a breathless giggle.

"Yippee! Heehee!" Panting like a dog (or a wolf), Mrs. Crinkle continues dashing through the Maze with wild abandon along a path she [edit:] *almost* remembers.

"Ooo! A game of tag, is it? He's it! Catch him! Heehee!" Mrs. Crinkle barrels after the raccoon dog, heedless of her voluminous dress snagging on the outstretched branches of the Maze.

No ** in the combat tracker, but it looks like Norbwald and Savan get the jump on the mystery voice(s).

"OOOO! Zelphari, stop! See this weird thingy on the ground here? I wonder what it would do to your foot, eh? Heehee!" She peeks over her shield for any watching eyes while Zelphari checks to see what the strange thing on the ground is--or to see if she was tricking him. "Come out, come out, wherever you are! Heehee!"

"Oof! Keep the pranks light-hearted, for crying out loud. It's not fun if it actually causes harm. One time, I was in a magic skull's house, and I relocated all the chamber pots I could find. Next time someone needs to use one, they'll really have to hunt for it! Of course, a talking skull has little use for chamber pots, so it'll just be her visitors who have to go searching. Heehee!" Mrs. Crinkle keeps babbling on about pranks she's pulled as she walks deeper into the fey-themed hedge maze. She keeps her shield raised just in case of an over-the-top ambush.

Exploration activity: Defend (AC 22)

"Fey? Ooo! I could learn a few tricks about tricks from them. Heehee!" Oh, dear. Everyone should be very concerned about a prank war involving Mrs. Crinkle. Maybe I can get one of those fey to freeze someone's underpants in a block of ice. Heehee! She keeps her eyes peeled to spot a fey creature, hoping to start up a conversation about the finer points of pranking people.

Mrs. Crinkle peers curiously at the elemental substances, but she really perks up at the suggestion of another round of drinks from Norbwald's flask. "Ooo yes! What a spanking idea! Drinks all around! Heehee!" She's very free with other people's alcohol.
