Fantastic little oneshot.
GREAT introduction to the game if you haven't played or run.
first time running a prewritten adventure in my life and good lord did I love it.
My group ended up making their own characters and having a blast.
Our psychic ended up skipping the first two encounters due to "Read Psychometric Resonance, so mind the uncommon tag if one of your players picks psychic.it DID open some INCREDIBLE roleplay opportunities which my group was full of. I ended up having to improvise at the end because my group ended up getting into a fight with the main villain and convinced her to remove the guards due to some clever skill rolls.
Anyways, as someone who's been gmming 5e before this for like 8 years, I gotta say, I am INCREDIBLY impressed at just how fun the entire thing was written.
It didn't feel stale, or stifling or railroading, and the encounters felt deadly.
All I can say at the end here, is that I really wish there was a statblock for Lady Constance, but she IS considered a Severe Threat boss according to encounter building, so I understand why it wasn't included.
