Here is the sword and board fighter. Again, needs to be taken back to 1st level.

Agreed that Mel makes the best wall. but the initial room maybe should be done 'quietly by the less 'clanky' member. Get Snaga to show Mel where the stairs leading down are and she can block them against reinforcements who might come up to help their fellow bandits.

Melthune has two bandoleers. Enough to carry and easily get to twelve potions per belt. So 24 vials strapped across her armor...or as a double belt.

Not quite the point.....

Melthune awaits the Goblin's estimates about the journey ahead. She seems to have not heard Jenner's 'helpful' comment about disrobing. Even as she does her best to keep the raft on an 'even keel' while they wait..

Melthune helps pole the raft as best she can. At mention of exploring the watery grave, she does little more than nod and agree that 'Coming back at a later date' is the best idea. Also to be better equipped for sch an exploration.

Upon arriving at their destination and the Goblin leaping over and clinging to the side of the vertical rocks, then explaining where they have to go, Melthune's expression is unreadable beneath her helmet, but she nods at Pollux's comments about bigger boats.

"There was a distinct lack of 'You walk in under water' back at town....." Then she looks to every one.

"So...our option is left to follow the Goblin?" She asks.

Um...yeah...securing the raft is great and cudos to Jenner for his idea...But Melthune and the whole 'swimming' thing? This... might not end well.... *Shrug*

Melthune sheaths her sword, slings her shield and looks for the pole she was using to help move the raft.

Once she's gathered it up she begins to help move the raft to some where better repairs etc can be made.

Still prone and being successful Hydra chew toy. Melthune draws a potion and chugs it down.

Fort Save:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Rounds healing:2d4 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4(So, that's 2 HP back a round for four rounds.)

Perception:1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16

Melthune looks around as best she can and gauges when it will be the best time to try and regain her footing. If there's a fanged maw coming at her again, she'll simply swing prone.

So, actions for round 2: Drink potion(Pretty sure that's something like full round etc) Don't think she's got much left by way of motion after that.

Melthune re-arms. She points to the walled manor with her sword and turns to Amun-ta.

"Your house compound? Are those the only gates?" She asks the other woman quietly, (Then, if receiving an answer of 'Yes' responds to the party)

"I suggest we advance into the court-yard. Close and bar the gates and then clear the main house and its grounds of any enemies. Wait till dawn and then seek answers to this puzzle." Melthune's voice remains low as she looks around cautiously out into the darkness,

Hmm...not that I'm worried, but would Melthune gain her '+2 Vs burst effects'? Just...seems kind of appropriate, is all. :)

Melthune sighs..."It's going to take a while to clean all this off..." She regards her splattered gear for a moment., then looks to where the creature's emerged from.

Melthune has been walking through the local terrain calmly, if sightly hot and a little flustered by the conditions. As the cooler evening approaches she sighs gladly, welcoming the coming change.

At others in the group's comments about the surrounding terrain she puts her helmet on, though continues to look around for anything.

Melthune uses the rope (And 'Takes Ten' to make sure) to get back onto the deck of the Seahawk. She then sets about making a sling for those who are smaller or digitally challenged.

(Or, again, seeing if ay one else can do such a thing if Melthune's skills aren't quite up to the task.)

Melthune shrugs a little under the musket round, though it doesn't stop her from beginning to walk back towards the party's ship. She ignores the wild swing of the surrounding enemies.

QUick post as I get ready to head off to work. Will be able to look in through the night.

Use 'Rage' power to activate Guarded Life (2 hp) (Ex) If reduced below 0 hp, convert some damage to non-lethal and auto-stabilize. I believe turning on Rage is a swift action? Master Shenkt "Hack" Corchran? Should this leave Melthune conscious, then she will remain prone for the rest of her turn. NEXT turn drink a potion of Troll Stypic. THEN see how many rounds and how much healing said tonic returns to her frame.

Melthune takes one small step for armored warriors and one large step towards actually swinging her sword.

Move to -B:14 thence to -C:13. Not sure how treacherous the fallen are upon the deck, but if Melthune can, she'd like to press on and move to -C:12. Just that little bit closer to swinging steel at enemies.

So...effectively Methune is at a -14 to acrobatics. Just how much gap, if any, is there between the ships? What's the difference in deck heights? Melthune only has a -7 to climb. :P

It does seem to do that randomly, from time to time.

I was watching the 'Social RP' thread give notices and was wondering why the main thread had seemingly slowed to a stand-still. Only to then check the main thread and see I'd missed about a day's worth of posting.

I pretty much just look into all the games I'm playing every day now to simply check that things aren't progressing with out a notification appearing on the main page.
