"Hard to believe so many people have been in the Society throughout its history. Sometimes we forget how many have come before us." Markas says as he looks over the long list of names.

Though Markas was born in Absalom and is familiar with some of its local history, nothing aside from the names he's reading comes to mind as important. "Henrick, I agree they have to be of some importance, but was is the likelihood they have anything to do with our mission now? Many people have visited this wall, there is no telling who underlined these words or why."

As Markas speaks to Henrick, one of the names catches his attention even more than the others. "Doulgonlir Caskmail" he says, "This was the name we found with the letter. Anybody got any ideas? It would appear we are in the right place at least based on that information."

"So is this Doulgonlir Caskmail supposed to be a Pathfinder? Pretty unusual name, so it should be easy to track this person down. I'm with Nazza though. Never a big fan or wizard's and their tricks...prefer to smash things with my hammer."

Markas takes up the letter in his hand and looks it over, hoping maybe something was missed but ultimately finding their wasn't. "Nazza, go check the basement. Maybe you can get some more information, but it seems unlikely."

"The big question now looming, where to next? I would give a suggestion but I think the only person I'm more useful than in terms of solving puzzles or riddles is our muscly buddy Saitama here," Markas says as he pats the bald paladin on the shoulder.

"Well Nazza, I guess it's a good thing we aren't really equipped to sneak around very much. I'm sure they are well aware of our presence now" Markas says as he flashes a grin. "Personally, I'd rather them know. Wouldn't want to catch them off guard too much."

Upon seeing Fimbrik browsing the book collection, Markas turns to the group. "Did anyone else see him sleeping just a second ago? Something strange seems to be taking part here."

Not until Markas joined the society had he started learning more about dungeons, so the fighter tries to remember anything he can with his limited knowledge that may be of some use to the group.

But the fighter's limited knowledge proves to be just that...limited. Instead the fighter focuses on his next option, just bashing the creature's head in. With his warhammer in hand, Markas closes the distance between him and the creature and swings.

Markas takes special note of Janira off at her table with the new recruits and thinks back to his time of Confirmation within the society. "Saitama, have you had the pleasure yet of undergoing your Confirmation with Janira? She really knows her lore and history of this area." Before hearing Saitama's answer Markas takes a seat at the bar. "Bartender, I'll take an ale over here, and whatever my friend would like," Markas says motioning at Saitama.

"You say Sir Reinhart is going to attempt the Test of the Starstone? When is this going to take place?"

A young man with short cropped brown hair and clad in armor from head to foot comes running up to the group. Still trying to catch his breath, "Are you the group I was told to catch up with?" the young fighter struggles to say. He takes a few quick breaths, "I am Markas Songsteel. Born and raised here in Absalom. I was told I was running late and to catch up with my party here. Looks like I might have caught you before you went too far!" Markas says as a grin spreads across his face.

For the first time since catching up to the group, Markas takes a moment to look everyone over. "Looks like we have a pretty diverse group here. I'll be providing everyone a nice shield and hammer to hide behind in the event it's needed. Could someone catch me up on our mission, don't want to be the only one here without a clue what we are supposed to be doing?"

As the lady casts the spell, Markas tightens his grip on his weapon hoping to stop it from slipping, but the grease is to strong as the weapon slips from his hand and crashes to the ground.

"You continue to show why we shouldn't have trusted you to begin with," Markas says as he draws his scimitar. "I think I'm actually going to enjoy this."

"Take a good look friends. Obviously the things we are going to run into are not friendly, and based on looks, not small. Be prepared, and keep an eye out. We don't want to get ambushed by anything."

Markas begins to disembark the ship as he yells out once more. "Jiro come to the front with me please, I need your eyes to keep a watch for traps or anything suspicious. Daniloth you do the same but from the rear."

The young looking fighter wears a stoic look as the others ask questions. So far as a Pathfinder, Markas had been sent on a few missions and his previous inexperience was no longer an issue. He knew he had his warhammer by his side whenever it was needed and he was comforted with that thought.

Markas takes sight of his allies doing their best to dispatch the enemies and moves closer to assist. Markas decides to forego the information Fronar was able to tell the party, deciding that a well placed blow with a warhammer would still cause enough damage to drop the zombie.

Markas then takes a swing at the nearby zombie, aiming specifically for the head hoping to cave it in.
