Marigold grabs another arrow. As she draws it back, the head morphs into a tiny metal fist, with the middle finger extended as a spike.

”Catch!”, she says cheerily to the elemental who attacked Aerin, and lets it fly.

Marigold lets out a low whistle at the results of the fireball. Taking her cue, she draws an arrow, which ignites as she nocks it. She lets it fly at the elemental south of Arfsnarf.

Marigold's Performance is a Success, and Arfsnarf's attempt with Itka's Aid is a Failure.

The note explodes in Arfsnarf's face! Arfsnarf takes [dice=Slashing]2d6 damage.

I've set this skill challenge up incorrectly. There needs to be 5 attempts total, one for each note, but not everyone needs to attempt every note. So if the character with the highest modifier wants to make all the rolls, that's fine, or trade off, that's fine, too. Obviously, Failure entails a hit point penalty, but it's small.

There are 3 notes remaining, and the DC is now 25 for Acrobatics and 23 for Performance. (It goes up by 1 for every Failure.)

I’ll start with Khunbish, but make my way around to the others, pretending to heal them. I’ll mention that Rindle seems sketchy, and ask if anyone else noticed it too.

Marigold follows Itka’s glance to Rindle. She uses two fingers to point at her eyes, then at him.

Pulling out a shortbow, she draws the string back. As she does, a red arrow with a flaming head appears in the nock. She lets it fly at the closest guardian.

Marigold watches everyone break apart into esoteric glyphs. ”Whoa, trippy…”, she mutters, before realizing this may not be a good thing, and tries to pull herself together.

”Hi!”, says Marigold. ”What sort of wackiness have you run into out here? And who’s your buddy?”

”Anything we should know about the stable-device-thingy?”, asks Marigold.

"So, what's our goal today? I hope it's not undead. It takes a long time to get that taste out of your mouth, let me tell you."

"Maybe it'll be dragons! I like dragons."

"But it's almost never dragons, is it? I wonder why that is?"

”Dragons? Still above our pay grade”, Marigold replies. ”I hope”

I have 2 glyphs ;) I will pass extra HP to Arfsnarf and Rannarix.

With regards to Mitch, that player is also at my table, and he posted on friday, so I would wait till monday, I am sure they will show up

A female gnome with a red rat’s nest of hair runs into the room. She wears leather armor, which is festooned with all sorts of tools and weapons.

”Am I late?”, she asks breathlessly. ”It wasn’t my fault! There was a seagull in my foot locker!”

She looks around. ”Oh, plat!”, she adds, looking relieved. ”Marigold Longfoot, lovable rogue!”

Chronicle looks good. I had fun playing the game with everyone. Tandang is now Level 4! Thank you to GM Erich and to the players.

"This is the clumsiest enemy I've ever fight, it needs spectacles."

”SHHHH! Don’t jinx it!”, Marigold says crossly. She continues to jab away at the cracks.
