So after watching Rise of the Guardians with my 2 year old daughter, I have found i can do a fairly decent Russian accent. If you have not seen the movie I highly reccoment it! Santa is by far my favorite with out giving any spoilers away.

So. In PFS what area of the world would most resemble Russia or atleast if i did a Russian accent for him it would not be to odd? My lore skills are fairly weak and was hoping for some help.

Then as far as characters I was thinking a big burly monk who like to "hug" the big bad guys. Tattoes and all that, again see the movie to get the full idea.

Side note: I know Santa in the Movie had a preference for 2 sabers, I could do a duel weilding Saw tooth saber build, but i kinda want a monk for PFS.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of a complete list of legal gods for PFS. Preferable a text searchable one with all their domains, favored weapons, and alignments written out. I would love to be able to go to this list and crtl+F to find out the different gods that have say the magic domain or whatever. Thanks in advance.

How long does this last? Could you activate it and leave it on all day?

TLDR:

I wonder how many people are going to click this link and immediatly go to respond with ZOMG L2pathfinder... I am desinging an Easter themed monk like character. I am using the term Samurai as what he would call him self. Depending on the time period Samurai were more administrator/servants to their Daimyo(Feudal Lord) than warriors.
In no way am I claimimng to be an expert in Japanese history/culutre just a student of it. The monk part is since he is a lore warden he cant wear anything more than light armor anyways, I want him to look like a traveling monk with nothing but a quarterstaff.

Stats:

Human Fighter (lore warden) Level 2
Str 18 (+2 racial)
Dex 15
Con 14
Int 10
Wis 10
Cha 8
AC: 16/T12/FF14
Melee: +7 D6+6(PA +6 D6+9) or +5/+5 D6+4/D6+2)
CMB +6(8 disarm)
CMD 18
Traits: Acrobatics class trait(?)
Indomitable Faith (+1 will save)
Feats:
1- Two Weapon Fighting
H- Weapon Focus(Quarter Staff)
1B- Power Attack
2B- Imp Disarm
Skills: 4+1 5/level
Acrobatics
Perception
Knowledge planes/religion/arcane
Class:
Combat Expertise

Equipment:
Masterwork/Masterwork Quarterstaff
MW Chain Shirt

I am looking for advice on this character. He is a simple fighter duel weilding a quarter staff. The lorewarden is going to help me with my skills and CMBs. This isnt suppose to be a super optimized character, just a fun concept of a traveling monk doing his duty.
Also he is a character that is being made with GM credits, he wont see play till atleast level 2 maybe 3. I statted him out for level 2 just incase i get to play him Sunday.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

We just started playing PFS at our home. We are enjoying it, as the GM it is nice to have less prep work needed, and we can rotate GMs with out losing character levels. When our schedule permits my wife and I can play at one of our local venues, it is nice.

What I am looking for is what are some of your favorite scenarios, either most humurous, dificult, or just rememberable. With or with out spoilers dont care either way.

Cheers!

Side note; we just did Frortfur captives and the group loved it. That was the first Pathfinder game for 2 of our group and was fun.

Edit:
Disclaimer we pretty much all the scenarios through the 4th season. One of my players has just about everything Paizo has sold. he just has no interest in Gming and briefly looked through some of them.

I am working on a cavalier for PFS. It is a Halfling with a wolf mount. I am confused on armor for the wolf. It says that he starts with Light Armor proficiency. So I just pay double the cost of a chain shirt and my wolf has one? Then there is an entry on for barding, but I cant seem to find how much armor it gives, just the penalty to speed. Any help?

My wife's ranger is going to be level 4 soon and cant wait for her new wolf. I am trying to get ready to help her with it but not 100% sure how man tricks he will have. Is it 3 plus his bonus on the druid chart at ranger -3?

Then at level 5 she wants to take boon companion to make her wolf even better, jumping her wolf to a level 5 companion, then how many will she have assuming the +1 stat is not put in Int?

Starting Thornkeep soon and seeking advice on a ranger. I want to duel wield Sawtooth Sabres, takeing advantage of the fact rangers can skip the Dex requirements for their combat style feats. Mostly wondering what a good favored enemy would be for him, and possibly a favored terrain.

Thx

My home group is looking to start an AP, my wife wants to take a shot at GMing more than a 1 shot adventure. She likes the idea of an adventure path so she doesnt have to come up with everything from scratch. At the same time she wants to have a drive for us to keep moving, so less open sand box, more like reading a novel and they are striving to do something before its too late. So any suggestions? Any experiences you want to share? We have not done any yet, so they would all be open.

Side note, anyone done the Thorn keep as a home game, and how did it go?

Hey silly question, I ran Murder's Mark for my family to get them used to PFS. I went to fill out the chronicle sheets and I don't know what to put for prestige gained. I must of missed it and hope someone can help me. thx

This a PFS character I plan on playing tonight. I dont have any heavy melee hitters, and I plan to do the beast totem path with him. He is an invulnerable rager. Just posting to see if I missed anything or did something wrong with him.

I see people posting characters on here in neat stat blocks. Is the a format somewhere that I can just fill in? Or are people just doing it the hard way? Thanks

Hello,

I have a question or two about enchanting my arcane bonded ring. I know I have to be Level 7 to do it. But then im confused and getting conflicting answers from GMs.

1) What are the restrictions on what enchantment(s) for the ring?
--Meaning, is my fame the restriction or money or caster level, or all 3?

What I would love is a ring of regeneration for my mage, (90k, 45k for my arcane bonded ring) Could I ever get that, the CL is 15 or 17 I think.

2) If I upgrade my ring to a ring of protection +1 first, can I then upgrade it to a better +? Or could I just change to a totally different ring, like evasion or something?
---What are the costs in these examples if they are do able?
